Did I ever rant about the song Iowa by Slipknot?
It's fifteen minutes long, and it has about five minutes instrumentation, and then a bit of singing, and then five more minutes of instrumentation, and then more vocals, and then another three minutes or so of instrumentation. Yeah. Anyway, in the second half of the second instrumental . . . well, there's vocals in the background, and I find that part a really good interpretation of the character's thoughts, like . . . like you know when you're thinking "Oh gosh" about something and then you're like "SHUT UP STOP THINKING ABOUT IT" and the thoughts just keep on edging through your mind and you're just like SHUT UP and yeah . . . I found that pretty awesome.

So even thought you were really rich now, you couldn't actually buy anything, because what you have is far too good. And if you had a pile of money, then it wouldn't be worth as much but it would have survival properties in the way the gold didn't. Because you need firewood to survive, yeah?

I didn't like him, but I'm rather neutral now, I think. And we have Kylie Minogue, who's also new this season, so you know - *reserving judgement* And we have will.i.am, who is always the best at selecting people in the auditions; he's very selective. He's been the last coach to fill up his team for the past three seasons. XD He was a bit of a crap coach last season, though, so we'll see.
Urgh. I hate it, though, how at the end they're all like "I only have a few spaces left, so I only have to let people through who are REALLY good, I'm sorry."

So Buried Alive by Avenged Sevenfold just came on, like, AGAIN, and I just kind of smiled and thought "Ha, my phone loves that song" and would it not be so ace if your phone was actually a conscious being? Like Hunter's house nowadays. I mean, Hunter's house could probably play music for him. And if your music-playing device was conscious, then . . . then maybe it would put a certain song on for a certain reason - maybe it liked that song, or you liked that song, or it had a special meaning to one of both of you - and you would just smile when it came on, and just feel really "Awww" about it, and feel a kind of fondness for the device playing your music, and . . . idk. I was shopping on Mass Effect 2 earlier, because I wanted a Space Hamster and some fish for my fish tank in my quarters.
I realised that you could buy the novels written about Mass Effect in the Citadel Souvenirs shop. It's pretty cool. So it's kind of incorporated the books into the game itself (the books being written about events which actually happened, anyway)... so you can buy books which are about things which happened in Mass Effect, and you can buy the books in Mass Effect as well. They only cost 5 credits, so I thought why the hell not, I have like 50,000.
