Reaction to the book is exactly what I'd been hoping for — shock and AWE. There have been MANY threats of violence and decapitation made against me, which I thoroughly deserve for what I've put you through.
All in all, people have been very good about not spoiling it for others, but dear god, there have been some exceptions. A few things on the Facebook page, a lot of stuff on Twitter, some stuff on Tumblr, and one of the very first Amazon reviews has a major spoiler. I don't understand the need to spoil things for others or to seek out spoilers for yourself, and I really can't understand why anyone would casually mention a plot twist without realising it could ruin things for others.
Basically, beware of the internet, Minions.
But on a lighter note, Orla came to a signing on Saturday and she gave me a photograph of the cake she'd had for her birthday.

Ugh there's not really a way to put it into a small number of words but I'll do my best to explain.
Coming back to the blog is an experience in itself because basically everyone I've met this time around has heard of me before.
Which is an honour, I swear.
And I feel I'm coming off a bit strong and a bit... Perhaps moody would be an accurate word, jumping from angry to bored to elated to...
You get the point.
But I want it to be clear, when I say that I'll be here to help you guys if you need it, I mean that, I swear.
And I think I might be sounding a bit... Flippant? No... I'm not sure what the word is right this second, but it's true that I will hardly ever greet or farewell anyone and it's not that I don't care, it's simply because I can't be bothered because good Ghandi people come and go in droves in this place. It's madness.
And I obviously have a limit to how much feeling sorry for myself I can witness.
It's not uncommon knowledge that my fuse for bullshit is relatively short.
Anyway, the point of this dedication is that if any of you ever need any help, I will be more than happy to help, I promise.
I just don't know you guys all that well yet, but I'm working on it!
