I like that they're a serious band, but they have a sense of humour - they enjoy what they're doing, I guess.
I think they can come off as pretty weird, that's fair enough, but familiarity, for me, brought more interest, and their lyrics often give me a lot to think about. Other times, they just seem to be what they are. I like that, too. :)
