My editor has been asking me for a synopsis for ages now. They need it so that they can send it to sites like Amazon, so they can put it up to inform people what it is they'll be buying. I took a few minutes today to write it, and before I go to bed tonight, I figured my Minions deserved to see it first.
Last Stand of Dead Men:
War has finally come.
But it's not a war between good and evil, or light and dark- it's a war between Sanctuaries. For too long now, the Irish Sanctuary has teetered on the brink of world-ending disaster, and the other Sanctuaries around the world have had enough. Allies turn to enemies, friends turn to foes, and Skulduggery and Valkyrie must team up with the rest of the Dead Men if they're going to have any chance at all of maintaining the balance of power and getting to the root of a vast conspiracy that has been years in the making.
But while this war is only beginning, another war rages within Valkyrie herself. Her own dark side, the insanely powerful being known as Darquesse, is on the verge of rising to the surface. And if Valkyrie slips, even for a moment, then Darquesse will burn the world and everyone in it.

Taia, it doesn't really matter if you don't post very often. It's one of those things where you can come and go as you please. ^^
None of my friends in the MC are problem people, Dragona. They're all wonderful and perfect, even if not everyone agrees on everything. And there are going to be disagreements. We aren't clones, we don't all necessarily think alike, but there are going to be disagreements in any collaboration. Fact.

Okay, I get why Brad's upset, he's been waiting for ages, and the fact that he hasn't gotten an answer yet annoys me, too, to some extent, but you seriously annoy me. I try to be as helpful as I can, answer the questions I know the answers too, and you hate on the collaboration that many of my friends are a part of. You don't know what happened, you said so yourself, so shut up, you =|~|~||||~||=|~|=_|~-==|~==:||~|~|||=_||->. If you want to have your own collaboration, great, good luck. I'm not going to be joining it. You probably wouldn't want me as a member anyway. [laughs]

It's true that there is disagreement in the MC. It's true that we don't necessarily see eye to eye, but one thing I've learned from Blogland in general, Luci in particular, is that perfect isn't the same as flawless. Part of what I like about the MC is that everyone can have their own opinion there, and there isn't one person in charge of everyone else. I mean, Ari's sort of in charge when she needs to be, but she's not, like, a dictator. She's awesome, they're all awesome. And I'm sticking with them.
I'll admit I'm one of the people who was on the edge of leaving. All our discussions about admitting new members, they're stressful, frustrating, and sometimes they make me upset. I get fifteen million times more upset, though, when you call my friends "problems." They're not.
And now I'm going again, lunchtime. This is my opinion, and I'm really not sorry.
Sorry I poofed. I suddenly remembered Ivy's birthday. Which is, uh, today. Yes.
I tried to draw Skulduggery throughly, but it looks terrible so I don't know why I didn't just rush through it like a whizz. -_-
Fabi, I'm sorry if I upset you. I really didn't mean it in a bad way. People have said there were a lot of disagreements and I was just pointing out that there was. I didn't call your friends problems, I said if they cause problems. I'm really sorry if I made you angry and I hope you accept my apology. As for you joining, anyone is free to join and that includes you too. I won't be nasty to you for what you said as I think I probably deserve it. What I said was kind of not the best way of putting it and I didn't really mean it in the way it kind of... came out. I just tend sometimes to think before I speak and that I'll improve on.

Dragona, underwater hockey is my favourite sport :) The sticks are way shorter than normal hockey sticks and everyone wears snorkels and swims around on the bottom of the pool push a little puck around and trying not to kick each other ni the face with our fins :) It's soo much fun.

As for the new collaboration project, I think it's just a project, rather than something put purely out of spite.
