Let me tell you about Stormwatch.
Stormwatch was a comic published by Image, and it was a fairly generic superhero team book. I bought it, I collected it, I read it, and I suppose I enjoyed it. Not as much as WildCATS, not as much as Spawn or Gen-13, but probably more than CyberForce, which featured a guy with three arms called Stryker. Now THAT was dumb.
This was all during a time in the 90's when Image were seriously challenging Marvel and DC in comic sales. They challenged them by pretty much copying them. Spawn was kinda like Batman. WildCATS were kinda like X-Men. Glory was Wonder Woman, Supreme was Superman, and Youngblood was rubbish. Every superteam even had their own Wolverine- the tough-talking cool guy who used blades (and, this being the 90's, a ridiculous ponytail).
Stormwatch was fairly bad, when I look back on it now. Impossible muscles, stupid dialogue, impossible women, dumb stories, derivative characters... It got so that reading it was a chore. And then Warren Ellis came along.
Ellis took the book and improved it. But he didn't just make it better. He made it GREAT. He brought Big Ideas to the table, he brought wit and horror and pure science fiction, and he made it one of my favourites. As Stormwatch went on, it would introduce Apollo and the Midnighter- basically Superman and Batman- as a gay couple who just happened to be the toughest heroes around.
Stormwatch would later mutate into The Authority, and just get even better and better. If any of you like comics, I advise you to pick up the collected editions. You will NOT regret it.
But why am I telling you all this?
Because of one single issue. A special, actually. A crossover. WildCATS/Aliens.
When I saw this issue advertised, I didn't think much of it. Aliens, from the Ridley Scott/James Cameron movies, were always being used in comic crossovers. They'd gone up against Superman and Batman and Judge Dredd. None of these comics were particularly good. You knew nothing big was going to happen. If something major was going to occur in a comic, it would occur in the monthly version, not in some stupid crossover thing.
So WildCATS/Aliens came out, and I bought it, and I read it. The WildCATS go up into a space station to fight the Aliens. Big deal, right? But along the way they realise that Stormwatch had been here before them. And as they search this huge, scarily empty station, they come across their remains.
Ellis had killed most of the Stormwatch team— and what's more, he did off-panel. We didn't even get to see them die. That's like Captain America stumbling upon Spider-Man's dead body in the middle of a story. It was THAT shocking. To kill them in a silly crossover? To kill them without even showing us how they died?
Warren Ellis took what everyone expected to be a silly little issue, and he made it HUGE.
And that's the approach I took to The Maleficent Seven.
I didn't shake things up quite as violently as Ellis did, but I was determined to shock you. This was just a spin-off, after all. It didn't even take place within the main series. Your guard was down. You went in expecting fun and frolics and adventure, but nothing more. Nothing more devastating than that.
But of course, you should know by now to never, EVER trust me. I will make you care for a character, and then I will snatch that character away from you.
I just want to prepare you, that's all. We have two more books to go, and we have GALLONS of blood to be spilled.
Okay then, so what have I been up to lately?
Well, on March 30th I did signings in Blanchardstown and Dundrum here in Dublin. They both went REALLY well, and I started the Dundrum signing a tad early because of the insane Minions at the front of the queue. So many of them I knew from here in Blogland and also from Twitter, and dear GOD they would not stop talking. I could feel my brain sizzling in my head just sitting there. Joining them, and at the very front of the queue, was Val, from this very blog, who had come over with Amanda and her mom, all the way from Seattle JUST TO MEET ME.
Because I'm worth it.
Of course, I couldn't just sign their books and send them back to America, so the following Monday I picked them up from their hotel, gave them a tour of my AWESOME ROOM OF AWESOMENESS, introduced them to Sherlock the dog, and took them out for lunch. At no stage during those four and a half hours did Val or Amanda even pause for breath. It was SCARY.
From the 5th to the 7th of April I was over in the UK doing signings. It was really weird, to be honest. We were slap-bang in the middle of the Easter break, and London was SO quiet. We still got some pretty decent queues, but the lovely thing about shorter lines is that I can spend even more time chatting to each person.
The biggest turnout was at Norwich, and it was here that I got to hang out once again with Becky and Howlett, the two legendary Uber-Minions. Amazingly, every time I see them they have more stuff for me to sign. I'm not sure where they get this stuff from, or how many of each book they own, and I'm really not sure that I WANT to know. I just console myself with the fact that their obsession with Skulduggery is probably distracting them from another, more damaging obsession, like serial-killing or something.
Now I'm back at home, and I'm back writing, and I'd really like to get this book finished sometime over the next week or so. That'd be nice.

«Oldest ‹Older 2601 – 2800 of 4877 Newer› Newest»Dragona, I thought you said you didn't like SP all that much...

I'm in a great mood, thanks! How're you?:D
TAIA ARE YOU THERE?!
I HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO YOU IN AGES AND I NEED TO GIVE YOU HUGS!!
*is hugged*
I'm good how're you?
YUP. BBC 1.
WHERE ALL THE GOOD SHOWS AREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. :)
Apart from the other good shows on other channels.
But yeah. XD
@Mushroom: IT WAS INCREDIBLE.
But I commented on it, so I said everything there. *shrugs*
I love having a YouTube account. :)
TAIA!! *hugs*
I am good, thanks!! :D
NJ DRAG YOUR IRISH BUTT ON SKYPE WITH ME ADRW LUCE AND OTHERS
I AM THERE!!
NJ: IKR! It's been foreverrr~
It's great to see/speak-with you again! :D
Ok thanks. I will actually be able to watch it now that I know when and where it's on. I really should have thought of this sooner. I haven't seen Doctor Who in AGES.
HOW ARE YOU TAIA!?!?
Ah, I said they're not my favourite books but I do like them. They're ONE of my favourite books. Maybe 6th, but there are a lot of good authors about.
Hm, now how to get his attention...
Question: How do you use the bold?
SP is my ultimate favourite book series and now my dream of being in it has come true!! :D
Uh-huh.
Not at all what you said to me, Dragona. You told me you were tempted to not read KotW at all because you grew tired of Skulduggery... And you said you really disliked a lot of the fandom...
OH MY GOLDEN GOD, WE SHOULD START A BAND BECAUSE BAGPIPES. *nods*
Hello arrivers!:) *huggles*
It was really bad XD but thanks!
CAN I PLAY THE PIANO IN THE BAND LUCE?! I AM ON GRADE 3 ATM :D
Bold?
<-b->word<-/b->
That without the dashes(-).
I said I didn't like that one book, but there's always a book in every series I don't like. For example, I don't like the second to last book of Cirque Du Freak, but that's just normal for me. I never said I was tired of Skulduggery, and I don't even know what the word fandom means.
CAN I PLAY THE VIOLIN?
I was going to do grades, but my lessons stopped :/
Ok, thanks Star. :)
LOL, OF COURSE YOU CAN NJ!:D
Uh-huh, you said after DD it went seriously down hill.
But, okay, I'm totally imagining all of this. *smiles*
SKULDUGGERY IS MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE BOOK SERIES TOO, NJ!:D
Fandom - Skuttlebugs, Directioners, Beliebers...
Collectively Luce, we own over 110 SP books!! :D
Skulduggery is most definitely my favourite. No exceptions;P
COLLECTIVELY, NJ, WE MUST'VE PAID FOR DEREK'S HOUSE;D
OMG WE MUST HAVE YES!!
I'm good, thanks NJ! :D
Except for the ill part. Otherwise, good. :P
I struggle to decide on a favourite anything. I figure everything has its advantages and its flaws, and since their all different, I find it hard to hold the things I like above each other.
So, I can't SP isn't my favourite, but I can't say it is, either.
I don't know if that's relevent, or even makes sense, but, yeah. :P
* they're
(That part DIDN'T make sense. :P)
I have to go away for the week again in a few minutes... :(
Mara go away as in you won't be on until next week? Noooo:(
NOOOOOOO, Mara *hugs*
NOPENOPENOPE
Btw, your singing was amazing and the ded was amazing:)
*frowns*
Gotta go - Again. :/

Bye Taia and Mara! *hugs*
Hi Val
My singing was terrible and the ded was really bad :P
Mara they were both brilliant.
I'm not leaving yet, thankfully... :)
Hey Val! *hugs* :)
Nooooooo guys they were terrible:) but thanks anyway :)
OH. OKAY C:
*shrugs*
Skulduggery is definitely in my top books. It gets extra awesomeness points for being the first book to give me a nightmare, too. :)
About Remnants after reading MC. It was scary.
The books are brilliant and get better as they go along.
But I also some others. Please don't make me have to form a list. :P
I can't pick a favourite, because book series have different kinds of awesome. Each of my favourte book seies is the best book series ever in some ways. Gone is the most realistic, ever. It's fabulous. :)
The Shiver trilogy is the first proper love story love story that I've liked so much and I'm like O_O at it for that.
The Mortal Instruments isn't quite like anything else, and mingles excellant adventure, mystery, violence even, with romance in a way that no other book quite does. All other books are clearly one or the other.
I'll stop now. But my point is . . . I can't pick a favourite. But Skulduggery is right up there wth the very best. :)
Hey, Val!
Bye, Taia!
WTF MARA THAT SINGING WAS ACTUALLY AMAZING AND I NEVER SAID THAT TO ANYONE, UNLESS IT IS ACTALLY AMAZING.
And I did love the ded!
Asdfghjkl I love Skulduggery, because I'm in love with the characters and the storyline is epic and I just ASDFGHJKL, okay?
Uh, that's MC as in Mortal Coil.
@Mara: WE'LL MISS YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU. D:
Think of MarasHarryLows.
Mara, Harry, Tanith - all in one word! :)
THG games me nightmares :P the tracker-jackers... *shudders*
I have to go now :( See you all next Saturday! *tacklehugs*
BYE MARALIEEEEEEEE! *huggles*
*gave
Bye Mara :(
See you on Saturday. Well I won't SEE you but you know what I mean.
Bye, Maraaaaaa:( *hugs*
G2g, Byebye:(
:( FOURS MARANESS AND IENINESS.
I never usually nightmare about books. I sometimes dream about TV and films . . .
Hey, I DID have a Hunger-Games induced nightmare!
BUT THAT WAS THE FILM.:)
*skips the non-scary leadup* We were on this island and there were these death beetles EVERYWHERE. Like swarming all over the ground. We were just trying to squish them because if one bit you, you would die. We had our hands, and that was the extend of our weaponry. Then we noticed (after a while) my friend had death beetles all up he insides of her tights, and I was just feeling sad (like MY FRIEND'S NO LONG FOR THIS WORLD ARGHHHHHHH) when I noticed I@d been bitten.
I was writing a letter to my parents telling them how much I loved them and my siblings in the ambulance. I also tod them to come on the blog and tell you I'd died, give the details and tell you all they were awesome and I loved you all.
GTG.
*you were awesome
Bye Ieni wbd
Bye Star
Bye Star!! *hugs*
BYE EVERYONE THAT LEFT! *hugs*
It has gone so quiet here...
BECAUSE WE'RE ALL ON SKYPE

I've thought of some good ideas to put in future books.
First: You said that werewolves were nearly extinct. During my random story-creation/fanfic thing, I made a creature called the Apatonynchus. If you do read all the comments then you may have seen the kind of biography of the creature around. If not it's here:
The name Apatonynchus means deceptive claw in Greek. It is about the size of a wolf, with short brown fur. It has a spiked tail (one spike either side of the tip of its tail), and has yellow eyes with black pupils. Its ears are set upon antennae, and are the shape of a lilly, and stick out diagonally from the top of its head. It has a frill around its neck like a triceratops, but is much smaller and contains no horns. The frill has been known to change colour depending on how the creature is feeling.
Its eyesight is usable, but it tends to emit ultrasonic waves like bats do to navigate their way around. Its sense of smell is extraordinarily good, though.
It makes only a small variety of noises (hisses - where its lower jaw vibrates, and roars).
It isn't from this dimension (as in, a parallel world or something is where it originates from), though the first sighting of the creature was in the caves beneath Gordon's house.
These creatures are immune to all magical powers/effects, so for example it could kill a faceless one without a God-Killer and kill a werewolf without silver. They can also walk on walls and ceilings.
They have a forcefield around them, in the radius of about 30cm. It is created by accident, and from birth, due to the fact that there is a complex combination of magic happening when two of the species mate. It cannot control the forcefield.
This is the reason I thought of why the werewolf numbers were so low, because the species Apatonynchus are sworn enemies of the werewolf and tend to hunt them down.
Second: The Sanctuary MUST have friends within the government to cover up all the explosions etc. They would have been captured on CCTV so many times and they might have not even realised. Even a car chase, for example. So, therefore, in my stories I created a government agency called Special Operations of the Supernatural, or the SOS for short. They deal with the cover-ups and have people in the government to prevent certain situations. They also provide a covert anti-terrorist force, to deal with mages who threaten people's safety.
Known vehicles include Apache helicopters and black Jaguar XF's with tinted windows.
They carry Colt M4 carbines and Beretta M9 pistols.
Their uniforms consist of kevlar body armour (black) and navy and black army camouflage. They wear tactical goggles (black tinted), military grade kevlar helmets and a tactical face-mask to hide their features from view. They generally HALO jump (High Altitude Low Opening) into combat situations as it's the best way to fly in without being detected.
The SOS is split into squads, consisting of six people. Two pilots (well one pilot and one gunner) and four "Units" who are codenamed conveniently, so "Unit 1", "Unit 2" etc.
Ha, hopefully that will get his attention *nods*
If he sees it then yes it probably will get his attention Dragona.
He's rarely on here anymore. It's more Twitter nowadays... Even then there are multiple day intervals.
Meh, worth a try.
It's funny how Doctor Who is on and it's all silent. I'm watching it too.
OK is there anyone for Mevolent Collabaration? I need to know if just commment saying @Brad

Good luck Brad.
This Doctor Who is cool.
Yes it is. Very interesting. I remember why I love it so much now.
Is the start of that guys name Skul? In Doctor Who.
Brb
OH MY GOLDEN GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Omg I can't believe I haven't seen Doctor Who in ages. I've just realised how much I've missed it.
*laughs* Will.I.Am makes me so happy, ahaha.
Hello...?
Is there life?
Hmm...I could watch The Voice, but I can't stay here at the same time...
HELLO IENI!:D
Hello Ieni
Yes there is life. But I'm not sure how much of it there is here at the moment.
Hey, Clover and Aisling! *ninjaeroplanetacklehugs*
Omg, Doctor Who was amazing!
Yay for life! Ah...I may have to go eat some people.
I wonder if it'll let me Skype you guys on my Kindle...
Mais, je ne sais pas!
*is ningaeroplanetacklehugged*
Yes Doctor Who was amazing.
Next week looks...
I just don't like ghosts, because ugh.
I remember when I used to watch it when I was 5 or 6 and it was the 9th Doctor and I'd get so scared D:
And erm, think that a Dalek would come down the hallway, from the toilet and get me.
NEXT WEEK'S LOOKS AMAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
DANNY IS PERFECT
HE ALMOST FELL OVER BECAUSE OF THE CHAIRS, OMFG
Last time I saw Doctor Who before today my brother was watching it with me and he was terrified of it.
And yes next weeks looks amazing. And I'm probably going to be able to see it. *is happy*
*laughs*
My sister's watching it, but...MERP.
Ah, it appears my Kindle doesn't have a microphone either
*is not happy*
It does look amazing, though *nods*
Hello. I'm watching E.T.
I haven't seen that movie in years. Since I was about 8 or maybe a bit younger.
Cheese.
Do you always try to get first with cheese Dragona?
Yay! First comment on the page :D
Oh, that means I have to do deds... hm. *thinks*

Ugh, comment disappeared:(
DANNY OMG
Hm. I dedicate this page to everyone on this blog because everyone here is awesome. *nods*
Oh, and fun to talk to.
Nice ded, Dragona:)
Clover, I'm only watching this, because you said it was good and ASDFGHJKL I love it:D
By the way, I have a favour to ask. It's a rather big one.
If you look on the previous page (for people who weren't there), you may see a long comment sent by me including the Apatonynchus and the SOS starting with "DEREK" repeated several times. If Derek does come on whilst I'm not here, I'd really appriciate it if one of you would copy/paste it so he knows about my ideas. :)
I'm only coming on on my Kindle at the moment and I can't copy and paste, sorry.
NOPE ME AND MRS JONES SKULDUGGERY AND VALKYRIE
Iene, I was more saying it as a general thing but thanks anyway. ^^
IENI I AM SO GLAD YOU UNDERSTANFD THE PAIN THAT THESE FEELS BRING ;-;
OMFG WILL.I.AM.
LAUGHING
Oh, I know:)
Wait, which feels to what I've mentioned?
ME AND MRS JONES
Oh and Iene, I apologise for getting your name wrong and spelling it Leni.
Oooh...I know:( I don't even ship Valduggery, but it still huuuurrrts:'( I thought of you when I heard it and wondered if there were any other minions having feeels DX
Why is Jessie a duck? XD
Dragona - it's Ieni:)
IT'S BECAUSE I SHIP VALDUGGERY AS SOUL MATES IN A NON-ROMANTIC WAY
*Ieni, sorry typo.
Really, I swear you've done that typo 3 times today and I isn't closer to e on the keyboard...? ;)
They were made for each other:'(
You ship Chinduggery, don't you? And your very erm INTERESTING ships ;)
CHINDUGGGGGGGERRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY<3
Yeah, I have. My mind works in mysterious ways like that.
Ah, okay. It's fine, my mind works in strange ways too:)
Clover, did you sob at the end of Book 6 then?
I'm so happy you introduced me to The Voice, now!:D
FSDGU DFH N[DFGHSDGU CRHGFD
DEATH BRINGER IS MY BABY. <3
THE VOICE IS AMAZINGGGGGGGG
OMGG. THE VOICE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EPIC. :)
Aha, but which copy is your baby?
Yesss, it is! It's so much better than X-Factor! I never watched that start. It was too about and boring.
It's finished, so coming back on Skype, now:)
Staaaaaaaaar!!!! *ninjaeroplanetacklehugs*
SERIOUSLY???????? I SAI THAT RIGHT AFTER MUSHROOM????????
I didn't know you'd said that before I commented! O_O
EVERY SINGLE COPY EVER OKAY
AHAHAHAHAHA ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO GO ON SKYPE
HELLO STAR!
Hey Star! How are you?
And by the way, I said something up there about what I said on the previous page about my ideas.
DANNY SAID HE WAS GOING TO BE TRANSPARENT. C:
WILL.I.AM GOES OFF ON THESE HUGE RANDOM METAPHORS NOBOD GETS. IN THAT ASPECT HE'S LIKE MEEEEEEEEEEEE. :)
WE ALL STRT GROANING WHEN JESSIE GOES I UNDERSTAND HOW IT IS TO BE A FEMALE/TOM SAYS YOU DON'T JUST GET HIM, YOU GET ALL HIS EXPERIENCE/WILL SAYS HE'S GOING TO BE TRANSPARENT. C:
But, if you had to choose one...?
I'm not sure, I do value my sanity...
I don't particulary like the voice. I watched it once and found it a bit... dunno. Like they tried to get the best people to do it but it just seemed a little tacky?
So I'm watching Die Hard 4.0 instead.
OMG, that's so true that you're like Will.I.Am!
Did you get them, then? Like the one where Jessie J was being compared to a duck?
Tom always says the same thing about experience.
Die Hard is way more like my style.
Haha, I don't even know who had these people are on Skype XD
I got his metaphor about ducksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
Jessie is the obvious choice, because if it looks like a duck and smells like a duck it's probably a duck, and what's-her-name-auditioning is also a duck so they would go well together. Will is an eagle, so he and her wouldn't really look like they fit, but he's saying tha if she comes with him she'll have to learn how to be a eagle and she'll get so much further and soar to new highs than if she just settled for being a borin duck.
He lost with totally with the asteroid one, though. :)
I LOVE THE VOICEEEEEEEEEEE. :)
I love the relationship between all the coaches, and how they all joke around and stuffs. :) :) :)
And I like how when no one turns around they're so damn nice, always give constructive critisism and leave theperson feeling like they weren't not good enough, they should should do this and they'd go far, and how they always give a valid reason for not turningaround instead of just saying "Sorry, you're not good enough."
THE COACHES ARE ALL JEPIC AKAY.
But I kill myself watching it! I'm always dying whenever they're singing going TURNAROUNDTURNAROUNDTURNAROUND and I'm less tense but still all nervous when they have to pick a coach . . . :)
Last week though. "27 minutes later" *laughs*
We were saying how that 19-year-old rock person looked like Legolas. My sister pointed it out, I said how he had a more square face (not Legolas, th other one) but yeah. :)
Plus Legolas's hair is lighter.
And his eyes are differently-shped, less rectangula.
I think.
And Legolas's hair is longer.
And my mum was saying the Jessie J fan at the end was a bit of a stalker and I was like he can nowhere near be as obsessed with her as my blogfriend is with 1D cozit's simply not possible. :)
Uh, this is Mara I was talking about. Did you guess? :)
THAT 19-YEAR OLD GUY WAS AWESOME
I REALLY LIKED HIM
ALSO - JUDAS BLOODY PRIEST <3
I was just sitting there with my mouth open not getting a word he was saying, to be honest.
BUT OMG I LOVE THEM: THEY'RE SO NICE AND FRIENDLY!
I liked the Jessie J fan! It was like awwwwww, because he got to meet his idol:)
YOU AGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE? *hugs Ieni*
Plus he makes up word. *laughs*
Long crazy metaphors and made-up words. SIMILARITIES END THERE. :/
Tom always does.
Jessie ALWAYS says about being a female. My dad is getting sick of it. :)
And Will ALWAYS saying "I'm going to b transparent." XD
Last time he said for someone that h was going to be trasnparent, and that the obvious choice was Tom, so to pick Tom was transparent, so you should pick Will because of his transparency. XD
My dad, being my dad, did his classic "Stop blubbing!" thingas soon as that unconfident girl with blonde hair who was 27 and used to be in a girl band started crying. -_-
Lol.
Die Hard quote: "Last time I saw her, she was at the bottom of an elevator shaft with an SUV rammed up her ass"
In other words she got crushed by an SUV at the bottom of a lift. Because he drove it through a building.
Then again he did blow up a helicopter with a car.
*laughs*
Poor Jessie though, dealing with him! :)
@Mushroom: Disturbed covered Judas Priest.
That's why I recognised the name.
I'm sad. :P
THEY ARE IENI!
Not like Simon Cowell. *frowns*
THE COACHES ARE JEPIC. :)
AND THERE WAS A GUY WITH GINGER HAIR AND A GUITAR!
Geddit? :)
ALL the Welsh people go with Tom. AMUSING. :)
I prefer buses to coaches. :D
THEY DIDN'T COVER JUDAS PRIEST VERY WELL, THOUGH C:
Well, it was good... but not JP good. *nods*
I KNOW, I LOVE THE COACHES!
I much prefer The Voice to X-Factor, which is UGH.
So uninteresting.
OMG LIKE ED SHEERAN!
I liked him: he had talent!
Maybe, if I dyed my hair ginger and learnt the guitar, I might suddenly have talent!
I love my school bus, although we have different buses...
*laughs* :)
I also prefer buses to coaches. Buses are fun, plus I have my littlebus community. :)
Someone needs to do hat HUnter did/will do/will never do coz he diesn't exist and put an end to cars once and for all. D:
Buses don't have seatbelts, and you can go bus surfing *nods* You stand in the aisle and pretend to surf and "ride the corners" like a boss. *nods again*
Um, Star, I didn't get your last sentence at all XD
Icarus is flying to close to the sun,
And Icarus's life has only just begun.
We have different vehicles. :)
The Childline advert breaks my heart and makes we want to donate to Childline. I'll take a picture of it next time I see it. :)
I much prefer The Voice. :)
It's nicer. The blind auditions, and COACHES, not JUDGES. Plus I love how the coaches always fall over themselves trying to get the person and shower out loads of compliments in order to win them over. It's such a good idea. :)
Yeah, but no one puts them on, on coaches, so that doesn't really matter;P
I must be so less nerve-racking to go on The Voice:)
It's so much nicer:)
Actually, on buses I tend to sit down with my friends...:)
@Dragona: We lot have been know to jump in the aisle. Not me. But it must feel like flying, y'know. Coz the bus is moving. :)
We don't have seatbelts in teh back of our campervan. We kiddiwinkles just sprawl on the sofa. The novelty of drivingall day in a vehicle without seatbelts has sadly worn off. :P
@Ieni: Uh, it's a spoiler, but they ban cars in my unwritten story. To save the enviroments. Buses are permitted, ut not too many. Emergency vehicles are permitted. Aeroplans too. Not helicopters. otherwise they'd be the new car.
How do they do this? SPOILER ALERT. :)
I should probably write it all out. Sort out all the kinks. Lots of fighting, oh no! *is best with speech, rather than description*
Well, Ieni, we're a bit wild. :/
We often just sit down and chat though. :)
We're always at the front on the bottom deck. :)
There WERE some Year 9s trying to tip the bus over by all running to one side. So I think my words were, "Unless you want to bloody die, stop rocking the bus you dumb idiots"
I was just about to change my name back
Then I realised.
Heh
I don't like cars, so yay!:)
ARE NINJAEROPLANES ALLOWED? PLEASE TELL ME THEY ARE!:)
I think you should mention ninja aeroplanes in your story *grins*
On the way there, I'm on the front on the top deck on the left hand side and I'm on the left seat.
On the way back, we sit somewhere downstairs:)
Unless we get the other bus...
I'm on a bus full of Kemspton chavs. All the kids in my school see where I come from as chavy. I know a bit about wild *nods*
When you're 15, or 18, depending on which film you watch, I reccomend the Die Hard films. They're old, but they're like one of the best action film series in like... forever.
Action films bore me...
Sorry!
I haven't been upstairs since my fisrt dy in year seven. Not counting when I go to Hull Fair on the bus withmy family and stuffs. :)
We're always downstairs. :)
@Ieni: I WILL DO!
I'll make Hunter say this whole random thing about them an then he and Ez with have this whole conversation about thema nd then they'll go on about them for a while. :)
Eventually. I write slower than a very slow snail.
Meh, then you might find them boring. But they're good.
Oh and ouch... a guy just got crushed in like two huge metal cogs spinning...
Hello.
There used to be a small bump halfway down a hill on my bus route, where, if sat in just the right place as the bus went over it, people would just be sent flyying forward.]
Always pretty amusing to watch. Particularly when they don't realise that that happens. :P
Romance films bore me!
They're just BORING. I'm not an anti-romance person. I'm an anti-romance film person. *nods*
Books do that whole thing SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better.
But films do action much better. :)
*laughs* :)
Hey Taia!
I think I saw Die Hard, once.
Well, sort of. I was sat on the floor with headphones on, but it was there every time I looked up, so that kind of counts. :P
Hiya, Star! :)
Um, hello?
Star, Die Hard. They're great films. There is five of them, and the fifth is going to come out on DVD soon. It contains extreme violence (as in, blood, that's why some of them are an 18) and bad language, but as a whole they aren't that bad.
Like, for example, John McClain (the detective who it all centres around) is now driving a huge truck to try and escape from an F-18 jet because a hacker hacked into its systems and made it target him instead of them.
And Taia, I don't think it counts.
And hey Io! How are you?
Yaay! *hugs Star*
Merp...I never seem to feel involved by films. I'm always just watching, rather that books, where I'm there:)
Hi, Taia! *ninjaeroplanetacklehugs*
Haha, has that ever happened to you?
Hi, Io! I'm Ieni:) I don't think we've met:)
G2g now - byebye *waves*
Bye Ieni!
And now he jumped out of the truck and landed on the F-18 and then it got a bit of debris stuck in the engine so started spinning around and the pilot ejected and then he jumped off it just as it crashed and now he's climbed out of the wreckage of a ruined motorway and he's going after the bad guys.
Bye Ieni!

What the... I didn't press it twice...

Hello Leni! Nice to meet you!
Oh. Bye, Leni!
Hi there, Io.

You're probably right, Dragona. :P

Better than I do with books I suppose, because it feels rea;er.
