Just to let you know that World Book Day is this Thursday (well, it is in this part of the world, anyway) and to celebrate Alex Barclay and myself will be holding two events. The first, in Kildare, is pretty much sold out, but the second one is in Easons in O'Connell Street, Dublin, at 6 PM. We'll be there, talking about... stuff... and books... and writing... and, er... annnnnyway...
Because this is somewhat last minute, I'm not expecting that many people to turn up to the Dublin event, which means it'll be a lot more casual and chatty than usual. If you're interested, get in touch with Easons to reserve a place, and we'll see you there.

Hello.
I don't know any of you but I'm typing this on behalf of Shell.
She spent last night in the hospital after she had been complaining about chest and back pains. After being admitted into hospital last night, it was then discovered that she had attempted to overdose the night before and never went to the hospital to seek treatment after she threw up the pills she had taken.
Now the doctors are trying to determine what the chest and back pains are or are they related to the attempted overdose, so it is beginning to look like she will be in hospital for next few days.
I was asked by her to inform you all. She is awake but in severe pain.

I did some... stalking, I should say.
I watched Skulduggery Pleasant himself for months, along with Valkyrie Cain.
I found out about their plan, the plan to travel to the other dimension, the broken world ridden with death and the Faceless Ones.
So, I watched that happen. I watched China get shot, I saw her brother die.
But when Valkyrie went in there by herself, I had to do something before that happened. So, I made an arrangement with the owner of the Murder Skull, or whatever you'd prefer to call it, and I cut out a fragment, and replaced it with a material extremely similar to the skull. It wasn't easy, but I did it.
It took me eight years to craft this magnificent blade, but in doing so, I have created the most amazing weapon the world has ever seen. I had to travel to Russia, Sweden, Mexico, Afghanistan. It was crafted by the living Gods of sword crafting. And... -pulls out blade, flipping it open- This is the result.
