And then the mother will start shaking the poor girl. "She has. A tattoo. Of your character. ON HER FACE."
And I'll peer closer. "Is that what it is? I thought it was a freckle."
"It takes up her ENTIRE face!"
"I thought it was a big freckle. Are you going to sue me now?"

I may have earned myself a detention. My very first detention ever, incidentally. Because in my Religious Studies assessment, I wrote something along the lines of, "Religious people should do more to fight prejudice because they themselves are prejudiced and discriminated against. [The whole of the following was underlined] For example, in RS lessons at school we are told to put what a Christian would think about this and what a Buddhist would think about that. This is stereotyping. Saying a Christian would think that about this issue is the same as saying a schoolchild would think this about that issue simply because they go to school. When you start going to school it doesn't mean you suddenly think the same as everyone else in the school. When you're in a religion it doesn't mean you think the same as everybody else in your religion."
I could have presented my arguement better, tbh. I've had practise. I was just so damn angry in that lesson, because I was talking about it before the lesson and I'm passionate about the subject.
And if I do get a detention, then they're in the wrong because they should be welcoming different opinions and outlooks, plus I was standing up for what I believe in and pointing out a way our education could be improved.
Also, they're damn hypocrites. They teach us discrimination and stereotyping are bad at the same they're doing it themselves.
A rule, okay then. Whoops and sorry, Ieni!
I'm so quiet, though. I just sit down and get on with the lesson. Every single teacher at parents' evening said I was fantastic and had great understanding, but that I needed to put my hand up and share my answers and opinions more. They all said I was so quiet amd they didn't realise how smart I was until they looked in my books.
So this is incredibly unlike me, to be this angry and critisising. :)

I hope you don't get detention. It wouldn't be fair. All you did was point out a very true fact. Sometimes teachers don't appreciate it when they're wrong and a pupil is right.
You don't have to read this next bit.
For example last year my class got a mp new teacher about halfway through the year. She gave us maths homework. Everyone in the class exept for me and one other girl did it the wrong way. We had never done it before. Then the next day she was correcting the work. She went through the class and got everyone to say the answer they got for the questions. When she got to me I said the answer that I'd gotten ( which was right ) and then she asked the rest of the class if it was right. They all said no. Then I said that it WAS right and she made me go up and write it on the whiteboard. When she saw that I had the right way of doing it she had to go back and do all the sums again.
Things like that happened a few times during the year. I'd say the teacher hated me.
And now I'm finished ranting.
Sometimes she would teach it the wrong way and I would point out that she was wrong.

Little Mix- Jesy, Leigh-Ann, Jade and Perrie are all wonderful singers and they have so much emotion with their songs, also most of them are uplifting and listening to them is good for my homework. :-)

Or actually, I could write something about current issues. Then again, I have very very strong opinions that I'm sure most of you would disagree with, and I get enough **** over them at the unofficial school debate club that was once my art class, if i ever attempt to even slightly join the conversation. That still irks me considerably. We have had a sub these past few weeks, though, so hopefully it'll die down when our regular teacher gets back? It's always been a class it's ok to talk in after the teacher has finished demonstrating, though, and Dan in particular is a rules-optional sort of person, so even if there were a rule against talking politics... Judy isn't technically in the class, she's Maya's mom, and just hangs out in the room because she can, so the rules don't apply to her whatsoever. Felix isn't as rules-optional, but he talks too much and doesn't think before he speaks. Usually it's about monkeys or apes or orangutans or something like that (they would all vote for Obama because he has cooler ears and is therefore the more qualified president, apparently. I'm glad fourteen-year-olds can't vote, if ears are what he thinks makes a good president.)
Then again, if I could've voted, I would have voted for Obama. Romney was too hard to read, and if he acted the same as president as he had as governor, it might have actually been good for our country, but he kept putting on a possibly an act of hypocritically and completely reversing his own beliefs to try to get more voters. What his presidency would have been like is completely unpredicable. I just wouldn't trust the country with a two-faced person like that. Apologies to Ember and any other Romney fans, but I disagree.
Obama may not have accomplished as much with his presidency as hoped. He compromised too much. In my opinion, though, he did the right thing with healthcare. Even if you don't believe you need it, you will someday, or someone in your family will. I believe it will benefit the country as a whole.

I wrote a little something.
The bed is cold, but his arms are warm. No matter what, his very presence warms me up inside and out. Ever since getting here, I’ve not been able to sleep in my bed alone, the nightmares have gotten worse. And the only safe place I know is with him. He will stay with me until I fall asleep, all the way until I wake up.
I stare up at the ceiling, “Do you think Chrissius likes Charisma?” I ask him, chewing my lip.
“Are you kidding?” Zacharia laughs. “He’s been crushing on her for months. She likes him too, right?”
“She noticed him first the other day, at the hospital. When I went for my blood tests to check see if I’ve improved, Charisma took me and we bumped into Chrissius. They were so cute. She even blushed.”
“You want to play match-maker, don’t you?”
“Maybe…” I reply, fighting off a laugh.
“Don’t go meddling in other people’s love lives! Just because ours is perfect, doesn’t mean everyone else’s will be.”
“Aww, please” I try my best to convince him otherwise, making my eyes look as big as I can, pulling on his heart strings.
He grins at me, “I’ve got an idea. I’ll explain it all to you in the morning, ‘kay?”
I look at him for a few moments, frowning. “Okay. But did you hear her at breakfast earlier?”
“Don’t you love young love?”
We both laugh, “Remember when we first got together? That was so innocent and cute, and a lot like Charisma and Chrissius…” I smile slightly, remembering the conversations I used to have with Livi and Lynxia. “Can we give them a couple name yet? Because Charissus sounds pretty cool, to me.”
He laughs that deep laugh of his that I’ve always loved. “Sure, Luce, if that’s what you want to do.”
He kisses my forehead. “You’re adorable, you know that?” he smiles at me, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” I tell him. I rest my head on his chest, and stifle a yawn. “Night,”
“Night, beautiful.” He replies, brushing my hair out of my face, before moving his arm to around my shoulder.
