And then the mother will start shaking the poor girl. "She has. A tattoo. Of your character. ON HER FACE."
And I'll peer closer. "Is that what it is? I thought it was a freckle."
"It takes up her ENTIRE face!"
"I thought it was a big freckle. Are you going to sue me now?"

And that's when the ninjas attack.

I was in a bookshop today and I couldn't see the SP books. Then I saw them. They were in the 5-8 year old section. Why? That doesn't make ANY sense.

I use Rainbow Magic books to act out SP for my little sister who is a bit odd and is eleven and looks thirteen or fourteen and apparently we are supposed to be twins (though I don't see why Macey should be dictating that) and acts both seven and twelve and reads both Rainbow Magic and SP. Also, she's a Martian.

@Fabi: Bookshops are in ages, not school years. :) I've never even been to a school library that has books categorised into school years . . . :/
At most libraries I've visitted, they have a kids section and a teens section, plus a small box or sonething for toddlers. :)
Often they have just a few small shelves for teenagers though. *sighs*
The City Centre library has a whole teenagers room. :) Go them.
My school library has a fiction and a non-fiction - the fiction isn't age-divided. :) No point, we're all teenagers or almost-teenagers. My school library is my best library ever ever ever. *nods*

I used to play with them on the stairs! They were people, and they had conversations, er yes, and I ordered them on different steps due to different factors . . . :) :) :)
Then when we moved house, I thibk that was when my game died out mostly. In this house we only have one staircase as opposed to three and the stairs are dark and meh. I think my enthusiam waned then, or maybe I just grew out of it . . .
After I grew out of Rainbow Magic, they often became boats for my Polly Pockets. :)
And when we made Shrinkies (you draw, colour in and cut out a shape on a piece of plastic, then put it in the oven and it shrinks and thickens), we always traced my Rainbow Magic books . . . :)

He has to put up with magicians, why would he be interested in them?
Demons say humans don't care anything about demons' feelings, never want to find out anything about them other than that they need to know to use them, but demons are equally guilty - the only difference is, the demons are the slaves and the magicians are the masters, not the other way round. There's a lack of caring and understanding going both ways. Bartimaeus is one of the MOST caring about humans beings.
