When we were watching Reurn of the Jedi, I wondered aloud how long their demorcracy would last and how long until another Empire or whatever came along, because let's face it, however many rebellions against bad people and the flaws in your society you have, more flaws and dictators will keep popping up. If you spend great effort restoring peace and justice to the galaxy, well good for you, and a few generations will benefit from that, but we'll soon slip under again. The problem isn't with the Emperor or Darth Vader/Anakin, and the probem isn't with MODEST!, the problem is with us. Humankind in general. Any society will have bad in it becaue ofall the bad in us.

Well, the one in Hull sells a few feetcomputer and phone cases and that kind of stuff as I said in this small area, plus it sells loads of clothes, some games and books, loads of random stuff like hourglasses and cushions and chopping knives and plates and glasses, all these shoes, sweets and biscuits etcetera by the counter, sunglasses by the exit, and stuffs. :)
Basically, it sells tons of stuffs and is fairly cheap.
I also got my Superdry hoodie from T. K. Maxx, reduced by about sixty pounds . . . We usually chck in thetoys and games section for birthday presents for cousins and my dad always goes to T. K. Maxx. He basically goes food shopping and goes to T. K. Maxx and that is about it. XD

Today, seven Directioners have either Skyped me, called me , emailed me or Wattpadded me in tears because another Directioner has offended them or insulted their story or something. Four were my irl friends, three were my online ones.
Directioners are probably the worst fandom in the world for this kind of thing. We hurt each other because we have nothing better to hate on.

Mara . . . Have you ever seen things on TV where -
Scratch that. Think about Mortal Coil. The Remnants love Valkyrie. They adore her. They worship her. And basically make her life a nightmare, because a) she never asked for this or wanted it or encouraged it in the slightest an b) they were going round causingthe death of he friends and innocent people andturning the world upside down.
The Directioners are not to 1D what the Remnants are to Valkyrie. You are not monsters destroying the lives of your idol.
For one thing, 1D knew they were going to have fans and coz they'r awesome, they'd guess what it would be like. They were prepared for it. It wasn't like Valkyrie, because she'd never done anything to invite worshippers and she was happily living her life normally and didn't encourage fans. 1D entered the X Factor and became a band. That is a huge step into saying they want fans in itself.
Also . . .
You're a lovely fanbase. You aren't killing or possessing anyone.
And also . . .
People change. 1D changed not just becaue of you lot, but because before, they were ordinary, and now, they have competely and utterly different lives. Also, time chng everything. I'm a lot different to how I was a few years ago. :)

Anakin was no way in hell followng that advice and I don't think you will be either, but oh well. :)
(Just an observation: Anakin wouldn't have turned into Drth Vader if everyone had stuck by the Jedi code. For one thing, Anakin couldn't be Darth Vader if he'd stuck by it, and also, he turned away from the Jedi because he believed they were corrupted and not good like they said they were. This is because even the Jedi Council was going against this code of theirs an rdering him to as well. He lost his trust in the Jedi because of that. So if they'd all stuck by their code, he most likely wouldn't have turned away from them. I mean, his friend the Chancellor/the Emporer/the Sith Lord never asked Anakin to do anthing that made him feel uncomfortable (until he well andtruly had his claws into him, and I'm not at all sure whether it made him uncomfortable to be told to kill all those Jedi, even the younglings, or not) and he was always on his side and he never went back on his principals).

I was so used to seeing hate and swearing on bad videos, so seeing tons of positive comments was just like O_O

Mara I was like that when busted split. I guess what helped me through it was still supporting their old music & supporting them as individual artists.
They won't just disappear, maybe they'll to solo or turn into actors but it's your job as a fan to support them no matter what. Through thick and thin, right?:)

Disturbed are on hiatus atm, but their vocalist is doing a side project - this band called Device. And so far as I can see Device is super super awesome. :)
So like Ruá said . . . Just because they split up doesn't mean they'll cease to exist. You can follow the band members' new stuff. And it my be super awesome. So yeah. :)

Mel, if I go to Leeds in June it'll cost me about 60 euro return on the ferry, then about thirty pounds on train from the ferry port to Carlisle where I'll stay the night with my nan then 40 pounds return from Carlisle to leeds

Well, I figure, if they haven't made any announcements or suggestions toward breaking up, then there's maybe not so much to worry about.
And if they do split up, then it's not as though what they've created and what they've made of their fans has to break up, as well. The members will be living their lives as they choose to, either way - Isn't that a good thing, at least?
Also: I'll be pretty slow, if I haven't already made THAT clear. :P
well it will cost my parents about £100 in petrol and £40 if we stay in a hotel overnight but if we get the train then it will cost us £80 and two train rides to Leeds...
but I could get a cheap flight for £40 for two people one way so yeah...but maybe next time XD

Mara, you do know 1D. You've heard them sing. Singing is one of the most blatant forms of self-expression out there. You can tell so much about a person just from the sound of their voice when they sing, and you listen to that all the time! So regardless of what anyone tells you, you can't possibly believe that 'you're obsessed and you don't even know them'.
