How are we all?
Are we all nervous? Terrified, even? Are we all dreading December 21st, the last day on Earth as predicted by the Mayans? Although, as Jon Stewart pointed out on The Daily Show, the Mayans haven't exactly got the best track record as far as predicting the end of civilisations go... to wit, the Mayans...
But I digress.
So how will you be spending the last day on Earth? Will you be surrounded by loved ones? Will you be sobbing into a tub of ice cream? Will you, in fact, forget all about the end of the world because you still haven't got your Christmas shopping done?
Or will you be reading a very special end-of-the-world short story as posted on this very Blog- a short story that will ONLY be available on the 21st and 22nd before being taken down- in which Skulduggery and Valkyrie track down the cause of the world's destruction and do their very best to avert it? A short story called "The Button"?
Hmm? Is THAT what you'll be doing?

Taia, it doesn't seem like my immune system can cope, tbh. I hope it adapts sooner rather than later. The weird thing is, my immune system isn't actually that bad... it's normally very, very good. It must be because I'm trying to fight off thousands of illnesses at the same time. 0_0

@Dragona: Hm. Poor immune system. I guess if others' survive it, yours can, too? I expect it'll settle down, with time, just as the people do?
Even in school, or at least school HERE, everybody is plagued with illnesses for the first couple of months. It kind of clears itself up, I think.
It may be something to do with the change in weather, too - As it becomes colder, I think immune system lowers. Breaking through Summer/Autumn/Winter. I expect it'll clear up, mostly. :)

I haven't been trick-or-treating since mid-primary school. *shrugs*
I'm sometimes invited - pretty much all of my friends still go, many of them together - but I was so often away this time of year previously that it just kind of became something that I don't do. I don't mind it.
I kind of like the idea of wearing dumb costumes without it being weird, though. It's like a day celebrating freakness, which I think is kind of awesome. :)
