The Button
This story- which I had intended to be REALLY REALLY short and funny and quirky- eventually became a little longer. And a lot less funny. But this is it.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of burnt witches of old, sweltering with the heat of anti-witch hate, will be transformed into an oasis of acceptance of witch kind and the dark arts.

@Taia: You hit the nail right on the head there!!! :) It feels just like how it would feel when . .. you know in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when Harry and Hermione go back three hours, and you watch them follow themselves around and see the moments you've already watched? And it feels how I imagine they'd feel, standing in the bushes behind the pumpkins and watching their former selves.
And it reminds me of how Blogland was then and how I was then, and how much it's changed. And it's also awesome to look at myself in third person . . . you know how you can view your Google+ profile as yourself, but you can also view it as someone in your circles and stuffs? Well . . . usually in life, you only get to look at yourself as yourself. But seeing into the past has almost enabled me to look at myself as someone else. And it's really interesting. O_O

Actually Adra you just showed a fundamental failing in knowledge of basic thievery protocol. If there is someone awake in the house who may fight back or see you, you do not go in. The best time is when everyone is out, especially on holiday. If someone is home, trying to steal from the home would entail armed robbery, something they probably didn't prepare for.
