My sister is giving all the LOTR characters weird names. Frodo is Freddo, Sam is Samantha, Pippin used to be Pippy/Poppy but is now Penelope, Merry is Mary, Gandalf was Manny for a bit (because Gandalf can be shortened to Ganny and Ganny rhymes with Manny), but now he's Ginny. And there was another character who got nicknamed but I've forgotten who it is now.
