Khiara Phray strode down the path, barely glancing at the gorgeous displays of Christmas lights that were painstakingly arranged to form flowers and butterflies. Flowers and butterflies were not her proverbial cup of tea, but the anonymous tip had led her here, so here she was.
She glanced around uneasily, hoping to see the person she was supposed to meet. 'Unusually short, standing on one foot,' were her instructions, nothing more than that. There were definitely short people in the crowd, in fact, nearly everyone was shorted than Khiki, but none of them seemed unusually so. None of them seemed to be standing on one foot, either. They hit a one-footed position while walking, but Khiki figured that didn't count.
