Hi all,
Just a quick note to point out two slight time changes to the UK dates- at Southampton and Guildford- to make sure that readers have enough time to get to the events.
For the Irish dates, we're checking when most schools are back in Kilkenny and Newbridge. Both signings were originally scheduled to happen in the middle of the day- but if the schools are back in session by then, we might move those start times to 3 PM. I'll keep you posted.
Oh, and for all those people asking for a Belfast signing, you now have your wish...

Maybe a little. I wanted to know she was okay with it first..then ask her to educate you a bit on proposals and marriages..
(There are several things which make me think that this world is disgusting. People should learn to let go of such medieval opinions and actually have some common sense. They are still people, and have the right to marriage like anyone else. And anyone who thinks differently should have THEIR right to marriage taken away - it is only fair. If they think people should not be able to marry because of who they are, they should not be able to marry for who they are. There is no difference.)

Mochi is made out of over cooked(is that the word for it? Whatever makes it soft)rice or flour and rolled into a ball. It's stick and chewy and really sweet!

Lots of European/westerners confuse the Chinese New Year with only being the year they were born in, but for those born in January and early February would be born in the year before the solar calendar one.

Me, a fire rat. That last sentence was me when I was younger. :P I'm still really chatty, but with no one to talk to, you'll see me sitting quietly when I'm either working on something(like a puzzle, where I need to think a lot) or reading. :P
Rat people usually have more acquaintances than real friends and they revere and cherish those close to them. Once you become their real friend, they will treat you as their family.

Apparently the guy who did the mqps for the Stormlight Archive made up the nqmes of a lot of the minor cities, because Brandon Sanderson was just like "um, there's a load of cities over there" do the artist was like "Okay" and just made them up. :P
The Stormlight Archive has a LOT of internal artwork. Well, maybe not a lot, but a lot for a chapter book. We have a lot of Shallan's sketchbook pages, showing skyeels and shalebark and the like. We have designs of fabrials. We have Shardplate stances and the Alethi Codes of War. And we have a few maps, showing us what Sadeas' warcamp looks like, showing us what the Shattered Plains looks like, showing us which parts of Alethkar are owned by whom. And there's a painting in there of the Shattered Plains, done by an artist who visisted once and painted a 'perhaps idealised' version of them . . . and if you look carefully, you can see the artist stuck a random river in there and named it after themself. XD
