Watching Spiderman 3, and being all depressed because of it. Honestly, I don't think anyone likes to see the good guy turn bad. That's what they're supposed to be- the good guy. And when you see even the best of us crumble down into darkness, you feel like there isn't any hope left.
And we, being human, always need hope to survive. And when that feeling of hope is gone, everyone feels like there's nothing life for them to grasp on, that our reality is slipping from our grasp...
And then Spiderman finds his will. He sees the monster that he has become, and he doesn't let it consume him. And that my friends, that there is hope. That's the need that people always somehow find. Because there is always hope.
