Babies are evil. They gaze up at you and smile evilly as they plot your demise, then vomit on you to show absolute disrespect. They eat food, always pretending that you have no eyes and they're eating them. They are working against you with every move - everything is part of the secret baby language that gets brainwashed from you before you can run. That's why they cry so loudly - to call on their allies. While one pretends to be cute the others go around breaking things and stealing the useful ones.

Trust me - I'm an expert in the study of evil babies (aka all babies).
And have you noticed how they like to go through all your stuff, slobbering all over it and chewing it up? It's because they're laughing at the fact that you know their secret and no one believes you because they look innocent. They stare at you blankly, but you only think that because they are such intelligent beings that they can hide it with a pure force of will. I never fall for their tricks, of course, and we have mutual fear of each other (I say mutual meaning "I'm the terrified one and they're the ones laughing).

One minute I was Marigold, and I was flickering my eyes over everything to spot possible dangers, and I was glaring into space because an imaginary Sapphire was making me so something I didn't want to do. Then I pretenddd I was Sapphire, and that was weird because I had to look down when I was looking at imaginary Marigold as Marigold's shorter than Sapphire. I had to smile whilst gazing intensly at imaginary people who thought we qere suspicious, to hypnotise them into being unsuspicious.

“She’s not here!” James called, a fireball appearing in his cupped hands, setting his face in an orangey glow. It was a small illumination, only enough to show his face. Green eyes were the only other colour than the fiery orange on his stone hard, pale face. Cropped white hair glowed in the darkness.
“Are you sure?” Howard called back in reply, walking from the shadows that flew around the room. He switched on the flashlight he held in his left hand, and it flickered out almost instantly. “Damn batteries,” he muttered and discarded the dead torch.
“Of course he’s sure, numb nuts.” A third boy spoke elegantly, walking through the wooden framed door. Cyrus Tinder, his name. “We’ve tried five houses, and no sign of that bitch.” The fireball engorged into a small fire, situated and controlled beautifully in James’ hand. “Cut that out, worthless brain. Do you seriously want this place to go up like a matchbox?”
The fire died out, James confidence dying with it. He wasn’t worthless. Or that’s what he told himself. But even he was beginning to believe it. Cyrus moved quickly, walking with thick graceful steps until he reached the far wall. He splayed his fingers, placed them on the wall, muttered something and took a giant step backwards. The wall buckled and crumbled, falling down the outside of the house in a mound of dust and debris.
The topmost room in the house lit up immediately, the outside morning sun just raised, already shining brightly. Heat flew over James’ cold rigid body. He had always hated the dark. Relief washed over him as he was told to jump. Not exactly relief, but he hated the house he stood in. Stepping up, he looked down. It must have been at least a ten feet drop to the ground. He turned and looked at Cyrus. “Are you staying?”
Howard looked at James expectantly, “What do you mean, ‘is he staying.’ Seriously, do you even use your brains?” it was obviously intended to suck up to Cyrus.
Cyrus shot him a cold glare, said nothing, and then trailed back into deep thought.
