I stood on the edge of the building while two men held my arms. I was seventeen stories up and only two ways down. One was right behind me and the other was behind the man in front of me.
"If only they'd done their job properly we wouldn't be standing here right now." he said, polishing the gun on the corner of his grey suit jacket. "Now, I don't want you to die particularly quickly but, knowing you, if I give you too much time you'll come back and get me. So, I'll shoot you in the stomach and cast you off the side of the building. Sound good?" he asked.
"Not really but I don't have a choice do I?" I said, looking him straight in the eye.
He pointed the gun at me. "Bye bye, .... ....." he said.
The thugs holding my arms tightened their grip and pain shot up my arms.
I saw his finger twitch on the trigger and a small flash of yellow and orange. A loud boom reached my ears and I felt the two men let go of my arms. I tried to run, duck, leap, anything but I felt a stab in my stomach and knew it was too late. I lost my balance on the edge of the building and I fell, arms flailing, into nothingness. The world streaked upwards and I felt blood leaking out of my stomach and saw it leaping sometimes into the air as I fell. The sky was a clear blue and I suddenly realised just how vast it was. The other buildings surrounding me joined the climb and I sensed the end was near.
I closed my eyes, ready to except my fate, but instead of the sickening thud, snap and blackness I expected, I felt two arms enclose around me and lay me gently on the floor.
Then I gave in and the creeping darkness took me instead.

I stepped off the plane and the heat hit me. God I hated Australia in Summer. I shrugged off my black jacket and pressed the cold metal of my bracelet to my forehead. In hot weather, Necromancy was the best magic.
"Come on... What's your name again?" I called.
The man stumbled down the plexi-glass tunnel after me. "Please let me go." he pleaded.
I sighed and pulled him along. "I asked for your name, idiot." I snapped.
"Clive." he said.
"Right, Clive, hurry up. I only have two days to get this job done if I want my money so get a move on." I said as we passed into the main airport.

Our whole year grouo went, but at different times. In year eight we have 11 forms of 30 kids each. Forms 10 and 11 went from the 2th July to the 4th, then forms 9, 8 and 7 went from the 4th to the 6th. Then 6, 5 and 4 went from the 9th to the 11th. Then forms 3 (MY FORM), 2 and 1 went from the 11th to the 13th.
We were meant to be in tents, but because we were the last group and they needed to pack the tents up me and a load of others went in bunk barn accomodation.
That's what I thought. I don't need ot buy them, then.

we had a school camp (last year) and we slept in dorms. There were 60 of us and the girls split into 2, same with the boys. The teachers made a threat that if we talked while trying to sleep, we would run laps up and down the road. There was a boy who did that. And instead of doing Surf Life Saving, we did climbing of different ropes and stuff. Also, the food was awesome! (which is all i cared about XD)

We split up a lot and did different things at different times, but I did caving on the second day and walking on the third day.
PEOPLE, we have GOT to have blogland caves. Blogland is INCOMPLETE without caves. Oh, OMGG, the caving. We were wearing special suits for it, but of course we still got wet. Our wellies filled up with water. Literally. We were wading inside our wellies and went you took tbem off and held them upside down all this water poured out.
The hard bit was meant to be when we went through thiss bit of caves that was only about a vcentimetre taller than a helmeted head, but even if you DID have to wriggle along lying flat, at least it was DRY! We had to climb up this waterfall, which was TRICKY! And there was this one tunnel where you had to crawl on your hands and knees through this tunnel that was 3/4 full of water!

Being Y8 is AWESOME.
On the first day, they made us do these activities . .
On one of them they told us we were gonna get wet, and advised us to take our jumpers and shoes off first. IT QAS HORRIBLE! We were in a team of six, and there was the head-height tube with small holes in and a ping pong ball at the bottom. Five of us had to cover the holes whilst the other one had to pour water in the tube to get the ping pong ball to the top . . . ARGH!!! We got absolutely SOAKING wet and all the teachers were behind us flinging FREEZING cold water on us. I just kept screaming and screaming coz I was so wet and my fingers were so numb and I would've done anything to get away from there, ANYTHING. We got ten minutes to change clothes and dry ourselves off and I just screamed as I was walking up the staurs and then I was just saying things iver and over and over . . . IT WAS HORRIBLE.
