What does that word make you think of? It makes me think of supermarkets, boringness, trolleys, shopping centres, aching feet, carrier bags, the colour yellow (don't ask), having to decide stuff, oh-no-I-have-to-try-stuff-on-y-ness, food, vegeatables, desserts, and I-don't-want-to-do-it-y-ness.

I don't mind a bit of shopping, partly coz, well, it's only a bit, and also coz it means I get to walk about. (I love walking. Sometimes at luchtime in school my friends are all standing in a group amd I'm just walking around them in circles. Walking helps me think). And I love shopping for books. Other than that, I don't like shopping.
My friend is a fashionista and I'm wondering how she does it! I go with her when we go to the mall and all she does is try on clothes! She doesn't even BUY half the stuff she tries! I get bored in the first ten minutes.

I took this name cause my favorite color is purple, but I didn't think purple as a name sounded as good. So I went with lavender. Also, I like the smell of lavender.
I was thinking of Faith or Hope as my last name though, but I chose Hope.
Hope is cause... well, hope is a good thing to have. It's something that means a lot to a lot of people and without it, a lot will be missing from the world. Everyone hopes for things.

I picked my name coz I love the sky and the stars are in the sky. I also liked the nane Star but I'd never made a character with it before. My surname . . . Oh, don't ask. To cut a long story short, Inkbright because I have ink powers, well my OC does, and coz of my inky fountain pens, and my reading books a lot with the words made from ink. Bright because it's a lovely word, it's a blue word (I sometimes see words as represejting colouts, and blue's my favourite colour), and coz the Ink on it's own just doesn't look/sound right.
Shoe shopping is okay for me. And those kind of shops are called either antique or pawn shops.

You know when I'm reading an American book? They are written differently, reakly they are. I can always see the Americanness in them. Anyway, you know when you read a book you hear the narrator as a voice in your head? Least, I do. Anyways, when I'm reading an American book, the narrator's voice always seems to end up having an American accent, without me realising I'm doing it.
Same with me, Star. Except the book I'd be reading would be an English book or a character in the American book would have a different accent. Sometimes. Sometimes I have to THINK about their accent though.
I bet part of that didn't make sense...

Sometimes, often after I've been reading loads (loads by MY standards ;) ), I start hearing a voice in my head talking about me and my thoughts in third person. Like, I dunno, I'd think; " 'Just go upstairs and get on with it!' Holly thought." Or, "Holly was quickly trying to finish the last few pieces off," or whatever.

I just read them, the head in my voice.. *snickers* :P .. the voice in my head assigns everyone a different tone. You all sound american or canadian. And only I can tell the differences. Sometimes I'll alter it a bit. so that you all sound british or aus
My nartators are far from just voices. Every author has a different narrator voice, coz of their different writing styles.

My accent . . . Well I had a parent from Liverpool and a parent from near Hull, I was born in Holland, I lived in Switzerland for a bit after that, I was in Ipswich for quite a few years, and I've now lived in East Yorkshire for five years. Work my accent out from that.
