I know we have a few readers in Christchurch who read this blog, so I'm glad to be able to visit after missing out last time around. And I know most of you in Adelaide and Perth were CONVINCED I wasn't going to get anywhere near you (especially you guys in Perth) so, y'know... this tour's for you!

Hellboy- best way to come up with character names? Hmmm... this is getting increasingly difficult. I write down any interesting name or word I hear, keep them in a big notebook, and when I need a name I go through it, matching up this and that, sometimes changing words to make them SOUND like names (cuz I'm very clever).
Miss Cain- yup, the cover of KOTW. See, my publishers always want me to include awards I've won and I hate doing that, so I have to come up with new ways to do it...
Zafira- referring to yourself in the third person is just a general rule to live by, I reckon.

Hi Derek :) Y'know the chapter in Death Bringer, where China is out riding? MY. FAVE. CHAPTER. Guess why? Because I'm a HORSEY PERSON xD Do you like horses, or do they scare you like alot of people. How can you be scared of Horses?? They're just GIANT mammals, with big massive hard hooves and big heavy heads, and long legs to kick with, and sometimes if you get on them you get bucked off within seconds... (I speak from lots of experience. And I mean LOTS.
I have a horse called Pepsi, she is so lovely :) She's only really young, about 4/5 so she gets excited, and kicks, but I love her, and If she or any of my pets died. So would I :'( I love them<3
