I know we have a few readers in Christchurch who read this blog, so I'm glad to be able to visit after missing out last time around. And I know most of you in Adelaide and Perth were CONVINCED I wasn't going to get anywhere near you (especially you guys in Perth) so, y'know... this tour's for you!

(We were in HMV looking at posters. We were laughing and saying how awesome they were, i was really happy. Then we saw a poster of Ed Sheeran and Stuart jokingly said he was stupid or something and i said don't say that again cause he's my favourite male artist. -i wasn't angry at this point, just annoyed- then he said it again and i slapped him gently. Then again. I started getting pissed off and slapped him harder. Then again. Then i turned back to the posters, really angry now and stormed out. I have no idea what had happened to me but my fists were clenched and i was gritting my teeth. I don't even like Ed Sheeran that much. I'm not obsessed... it's not as if it was my time of the month or something and this horrible mood swing came out of no where. I rushed out of the shop and got halfway to the bus stop before stopping and looking back. He was ages behind me, Staring at me. I waited. He came up to me and saif wtf. I said it was 5 and we should go home anyway, still really pissed. He said no, wtf was that. I said Ed Sheeran is my favourite male artist and that i respect him and that i told you to stop saying that. He said yeah, but i was joking you didn't have to slap me for it. I gritted my teeth and said sorry for hitting him. He said no and walked away...
i stood there staring at where he'd been for what felt like minutes, not being able to move. Then without seeing where he went i turned in the other direction and walked. I walked to the other side of the shopping centre and went outside. I banged my head off of a bus stop a couple of times then started crying, hating myself and knowing that because of that stupid silly thing and me hitting him...might end our friendship. I went back inside, walking around aimlessly knowing the only place i get a bus home is where he went. And i wanted to go anywhere but there. So i went and got a sundee to binge eat but only managed a couple of spoonfulls before crying again so i went to the bathroom and wiped my eyes and stuff then left.

He called me when i was walking around...but i declined it.
Then he text me when i was on the bus home at 5:30 that he was just leaving. I don't know how i missed him...i had left before him and not seen him. I was sure he would have been at thd bus stop but he wasn't and i didn't look back so where did he go...?

Sometimes we just have moments, Aria. I have moments sometimes. Moments where I'll scream and hit people and then go cry. It just happens sometimes.
If it's a one-off event, which it was, then it's okay. He knows that you weren't behaving like you - he knows it's not normal for you. Hence, he'll likely view it as a freak event and forgive you. Well . . . that's what the logical course of action would be, imo.
Of course, he'll be upset by the whole thing too, so you have to allow for his upset. *nods*

What you really need to do is use your social awareness skills to work out when it crosses the line from being a bit of fun into distressing people, but sometimes, people's social awareness skills fail and then they end up going too far. And that's not really anyone's fault.

(Well with a laser it's concentrated beam that shoots directly outward from your eyes without any potential backfire, if you were blowing fire out of your eyes there'd be plenty of ways it could blow right back in your face.)
