Just thought you'd like to know, because you are eager Minions who care about these things, that I have apparently started Book 7. Ten thousand words written since Friday.
yay im first i dedicare this page to derek the 7th book and the people of blogland also beth fantaskey some one i look up to as an author ( but she come under the golden god that runs this blog)
end of the world at the back of book 7? cause from what i know when i asked World Book Day Ireland, end of the world is not avaliable outside Ireland and UK.
YAY!!!! is it coming out September? So excited :) from the No. 1 Skulduggery Pleasant/Derek Landy Irish fan :) Ireland Rocks :P like, so hard there are little leprachauns with electric guitars singing AC DC... :)
I've been at my story for months and am only at 6000 words. That is just sad.
So you getting 10,000 done in a fairly short amount of time is astoundingly brain mushifying. At least for me it is. Although then again, I am a huge procrastinator...
And I still think that a writer should, hypothetically of course, write the chaos theory in 16 blank and random pages.
I also have to read the 6th Skulduggery book. Again, I just got it, but I don't have enough time to finish it in one night and if I can't then I know I won't sleep. So I'll just wait until the weekend.
I do hope that Scapegrace is in the 6th book. He's hilarious. Oh! Hypothetically, an author could write a grand adventure from the perspective of Scapegrace in the last 16 pages of his or her book.

Bryan, The End of the World will primarily be available in Ireland, the UK and Australia, but it'll also be collected along with a load of other short stories into one massive book before too long.

Pink Rose, it feels pretty good to finally start writing it. I'm about two months behind schedule so I have a lot of work to catch up on!
Mary- oh they made me laugh. Favourites are 1 and 23.... brilliant...
Holly- a good day for a writer is usually around 2000 words- that's what most writers aim for in a day. If they go beyond that, bonus. If they can't reach 2000, they're in a bad mood...!
Hopefully I'll get up to Londonderry again, but I don't know when. My tours take me to different places every time, to make sure I cover as much ground as possible.

Derek, I have an idea for the 16 extra pages thing. Maybe in the book if, like, one of the characters told another a story or something what he said to someone else that was very significant, maybe in the extra pages you could write those conversations or like 'what actually happened' if someone told a lie, etc. What do you think?
