Yeah, sure.
Sparky looked around. She had been told about Tanith Low.
‘Where is she Fletcher?’ Sparky whispered. Fletcher didn’t respond. He just grabbed her wrist and they appeared to a nearby tree. Fletcher put a finger to his lips and teleported away.
‘Fletcher? Who were you just sitting with? New friend? How are you and Val?’ Sparky heard an English accent say. Fletcher grunted. Then he spoke.
‘Tanith. I know you’re in there somewhere. Fight it.’ He said, his voice rigid.
Sparky heard Tanith laugh.
‘Fletcher, I’m happy. I’m used to sharing my mind. It’s okay, you can talk to me. I’m your friend, remember?’ Her voice was cheerful. Fletcher appeared in front of Sparky again. He took them back to the Sanctuary in Ireland.
‘Find Skulduggery. Bring him here. I’ll be back in three minutes. Find him.’ Fletcher ordered. Sparky had never seen him so serious. She nodded. She then pulled out her phone, thanking God that Skulduggery had given her his number.
‘Skulduggery, I’m in the Sanctuary foyer.’ Sparky said urgently.
‘I’m not a taxi, Sparky. Aren’t you still in the Infirmary?’ He replied.
‘Skulduggery, it’s about Tanith. She’s in Australia. Fletcher’s coming back in two minutes and you need to be here.’ In the Bentley he hung up and looked at Valkyrie.
‘We’re heading back for the Sanctuary.’ He said, his voice cold. He did a sharp U-turn and headed back for Roarhaven. Valkyrie crossed her arms.
‘But I’m leaving Alice with my refl-‘ She started.
‘It’s about Tanith.’ Skulduggery interrupted. Valkyrie looked at him.
‘But wasn’t she in America?’ She asked, dumbfounded. Skulduggery nodded, putting all his concentration into driving as fast as possible without hitting anything.
‘But not anymore?’ She asked. Skulduggery shook his head.
Sparky checked her watch. She had thirty more seconds. Where were they? Then she saw Valkyrie and Skulduggery running towards her. Fletcher arrived half a second after they did.
‘Lets go.’ Fletcher held out his arm. They all grabbed on. Tanith was waiting for them. Sparky had never seen her before. Tanith Low wore leather. Not much. She was also wearing a pair of scuffed boots, had a sword hiding underneath her jacket. She had long, tousled, blond hair. Her lips and veins were black. Sparky decided there and then that she did not want to have a sword fight with Tanith. Sparky may have been good, but she was just an excellent novice. Taking to things easily was handy and went well with her natural boisterous behaviour, making her appear better than she actually was. If she ended up against Tanith, Sparky’s air of confidence would evaporate before either of them could make a cocky remark. Sparky gripped her sword.
‘Who’s the new one? I’ve never seen her before.’ Tanith said, pointing at Sparky.
‘Her name is Sparky Braginski. She should probably leave, but I doubt she will.’ Valkyrie replied. Sparky relaxed her stance and scowled at Valkyrie. But before she could say anything Skulduggery cut in.
‘We need all the help we can get Valkyrie. Don’t offend our only sword fighter.’
Sparky smiled shakily and resumed her stance. She really didn’t want to have to fight Tanith. Tanith laughed.
‘I’m not leaving with you, if you were wondering. I only wanted to know why Fletcher moved to Australia.’ Tanith smiled. Valkyrie’s eyes were wet. Her cheeks were red. And her mouth was open.
‘Tanith fight it! You can get out!’ She yelled. Tanith chuckled. ‘Tanith, please. Let her go.’
‘No.’ Tanith said. A man who looked like he would be more at home on a ranch, rather than suburban Sydney popped out of the ground. He pulled off his sunglasses to wipe them, but there were no eyes underneath. Sparky shuddered.
‘C’mon honeybun, lets go.’ He said in a Texan drawl. He then saw the small group of readied enemies and coughed.
‘Who’s that?’ He said blankly.
‘Her name is Sparky Braginski. She dies first.’ Tanith answered. Sparky paled. Fletcher grabbed Sparky from behind and left.
‘What the hell was that for, Fletcher?’ She said as they appeared in the park.
‘You’re not dying today. I’m taking the others here too.’ He said. Five minutes they were all there.
‘Valkyrie, Fletcher’s right, we need more people before we go up against her.’ Skulduggery said. Valkyrie frowned.
‘Why do we need Sparky’s help? This is super dangerous. Fletch is right, she doesn’t die today.’ Valkyrie said. Skulduggery looked at her.
‘Valkyrie, put this in perspective. What were you doing when you were Sparky’s age?’
‘When I was thirteen? I fought the…The… Grotesquery…’ She mumbled. Skulduggery nodded.
‘Exactly. You were fighting a demigod. I think Sparky can handle this.’ He saw her look of horror. ‘When with others.’ He finished.
Harper Skirmish... I like it!

Derek, any plans to make your books more widely available in America? It literally takes two or three months for the books to get here when we order from a European bookstore, which is the only way to get one of your books since only the first three are available on the US kindle. Can't you make them available for the US kindle store at least? It's killing me not knowing what happens while all of Europe is talking about it.
