Ahem.
Although the day BEFORE that I got to see all my nieces in their Halloween costumes (because I won't be seeing them at Halloween). Rebecca was dressed as a witch. Emily was a bumblebee. Sophie was a pig. And Clara... Clara was a skeleton, because she KNOWS who's going to be giving her the best presents when she's older. When I have pictures, I'll be sure to post them.
And what did I GET for my birthday, you ask? Well... um... okay, see, when I say it aloud, it doesn't sound that impressive, but basically I got some photographs in nice frames...
God that sounds boring.
But I really am the WORST person to buy for, as Laura was complaining to me last night. Everything I want, I pretty much have already- so what is there left to get me except really odd things that I'd never think of? See?
But some of you guys here, and at the Forum and the Facebook page, did all the celebrating for me, which was really nice of you. In particular, I'm thinking of Valkyrie V, who actually had a party with a CAKE. And Val V, I hope you don't mind, but I just HAD to post a pic of it.
I'm not really sure what Polar Bear Girl has to do with Skulduggery, but I like her style nonetheless. These guys really went out of their way to celebrate poor old Skulduggery's deathday, and they are all astonishingly sloppy eaters...
And in other news...
The Ameriminions competition is now over! I have been HUGELY impressed with your entries. They have been cool, atmospheric, creepy, action-packed, sinister, and funny- sometimes all at once! Now I have the quite enjoyable job of going through them all and picking the line that is best suited to the story I want to tell.

Hello earthlings, it appears I am back.

At lunch I randomly said "you and I remember Budapest very differently" and my family just stopped eating and stared at me and my grandmom was like "did I hear that right?" Because she thinks she needs hearing aids (her hearing doesn't seem that bad) and so she got really confused and it was really funny.
Yesterday during lunch she randomly said "after lunch I'm going upstairs to knit you and your brother purple sweaters" and I got really confused becAuse 1) she doesn't know how to knit and 2) our birthday was the next day so she wouldn't have time

He kind of has a few issues, because he has this mental disorder and then he has a mental breakdown every now and then and then he has this other thing that means he keeps like almost dying, and they have a habit of all flaring up at the same time (because y'know, they trigger each other), so like. But they sort of all occurred due to the same thing.

In terms of shooting someone who would be pointing a gun at me or someone who I care about, of course I would shoot them. No one deserves to die, but some people have to. As it stands, if they were aiming the gun at me and someone who I care about, I would be killing one to save two - an idea which my career has revolved around.

(You do not need a gun to shoot someone. Any projectile weapon will do. And yes, I would go for the killing shot. Which, given my habit of shooting at the head that Jaimie is aware of, it would almost definitely kill. By keeping said person alive, you could be endangering your lives and the lives of others. The safest option is to kill them.
Being entirely honest, I have absolutely no idea who Ghetremus is or what has happened. The question is rather lost on me, I am afraid.)

Yeah but . . . I'm sorry, I'm pedantic, but the gun wasn't the subject. The gun was just part of the subject. Like you could have a discussion about eating (as in, the process) and use strawberries as an example, or you coul dhave a discussion about strawberries themselves (as in, discuss their biology) and mention how they taste and eating them, but one would be a conversation about eating and one would be a conversation about strawberries. It's like the difference between "Her clothed legs" and "The clothes she was wearing." One is about her legs that happen to be wearing clothes, and one is about clothes that she happens to be wearing.
The dicussion was not about the guns. She guns were just part of the situation being discussed. :P
HOWEVER like I said, that's just me being pedantic. My issue, not yours.

If I had a gun, I wouldn't shoot htem, because a) I would be too scared and procrastinative and b) I have never even seen a gun in real life. I wouldn't know how to use one.
If I COULD use a gun, then idk what I'd do. I can argue for either side here rather effectively, but personally, I'm a bit more like '?'.

I lent The Way of Kings Part Two to Darcie to take on holiday today.
The Way of Kings Part Two is my favourite half of my favourite book in my favourite series by my favourite author.
I feel a bit scared without it, like "How will I manage with it absent?" :P
But at the same time, I'm really glad that someone else is reading it. I'd rather people completely trashed my copy and like bent the spine and scribbled on the pages and stuff that have them not read it at all, and I HATE it when people maltreat my books. :P

I was stopped from jumping.
A girl on the trip was caught smoking hookah, and she thought that I snitched to her teacher. She told everyone that I was the one who told the teacher, and for two agonizing days, Everyone hated me. They kept ditching me... Ignoring me.
I stood at the stern and contemplated jumping- what would I do if I survived the jump? I would swim back to Crete, but it was about ten miles away. Granted, that was if I wasn't hit by the boat.
Two guys, Cayman and Jeremiah stopped me. They asked me from where I came, and they began to talk to me... I was so close to climbing over... I had cried so much because everyone hated me and the girl, Dani, had spread the terrible rumor...
:/ it's too late, now. We're in Athens, and I have sun poisoning and strep, and I'm going to have to think of a new place.. Stepping in front of a car. Climbing up to he Acropolis again and... Jumping off? Maybe in Rome, I can go from the Colosseum

Dug I get that you would find it hard to pull the trigger but were someone in danger it becomes easier, guns are easy to work there is a safety on the right side normally put it off, pull back the barrel to cock it and then pull the trigger. you also may have to lift the hammer but that's if you pull back to hard.)
