Hello there.
Sorry for the delay- I was hauled into hospital last week and have only just got out. I'd never been sick before, so it was a whole new and thoroughly dull/painful/annoying experience for me, one that I hope I never repeat. I'm still not recovered, so it'll be a few days before I resume normal service, but I know how much my Minions need their chatting space- so chat away...!

Well my friends nan recently died after her appendix ruptured lacing my friends cousins in the care of her other nan instead, even though this in it's self is terrible this is not the horrible bit by far...
Her cousins that are now in the care of her other nan are there because there fostered, there dad left them and their mum died it's how there mum died that's horrible though, it's like something out a horror movie
All 3 of them, the two kids and the mum were walking along the path way when a car came around the corner extremely fast an crashed, it rolled over repeatedly and set on fire and the force was enough to send a tyre flying, this tyre hit their mum in the head and knocked her head off completely right in front of her kids....
:'( I cried after hearing this, how those kids can live I don't know

I think it's a good thing to make a difference between males and females... for example your friend can mean both, which propably leads (at least from time to time) to misunderstandings. And without a formal form you can't make a difference between someone you're friends with and someone you don't even like, you just call everyone you. Even more confusing is that you say you, wether talking to one or to a group of people. German is a lot more precise than English.

Wow, this language discussion is really interesting... Did you know that English and some European languages also borroed from asian languages?certain words, like the word meaning "God", sound similar, i.e. "deo" in Latin and "deva" in Sanskrit.

That's why noone really speaks standard German: We all speak mixtures of our regional dialects and standard German. We have to write standard German, though.
