Ahem.
Just a brief note to update you on how the work is progressing. So far, every book has been longer than the one before. The first book was about 75,000 words, and Mortal Coil was over 100,000. With Book 6, I'm planning on continuing that trend, but I don't know by how much.
I've been working away at the first section of the story, the first quarter of the book, dipping in an out of scenes and chapters... Even though, officially, I started this book on November 6th, a lot of things have been taking up my time, so I've really only been able to seriously write in the past week. And in the past week I've written almost 20,000 words. That's roughly a fifth of the book, and I've done it in six days.
I am on a ROLL.

This is great! Firstly, we can expect each book to hold more splendidness than the last, and secondly, at this rate, you could be done with the book by the 28th! Even if it takes longer, it obviously won't be that long. And then you'll know the basic events of the book and we can trick you into telling us everything! Well, probably not...but there's a chance!
Now might be a good time to ask this: Why did you release two books this year, and can't you do that again next year or some time in the future? Just curious. Don't rush the books or anything. Make them as superb as possible. =)
BTW, I'm saving that comment of Derek's where he responded to Mary about how you write without being too critical. It's the best advice I've heard on the subject. Most people just say, "Don't be too critical." They don't detail how or tell you you'll find your writing gets better. Thanks, Derek. =)
