Behold the awesome!
On April 5th, in London, as part of my tour, we are offering a day at the movies, where I will be discussing the many movie influences that have shaped my life and, more specifically, that have shaped the Demon Road trilogy.
We are breaking the day into two halves.
At 1 PM, younger readers, accompanied by an adult, can go to the Picturehouse Cinema in London and experience 80's comedy-horror classic GREMLINS on the big screen...! It'll be my first time seeing it up there too — I've only ever seen this film on TV, so I am HUGELY excited.
Desolation will be available to buy, I'll be doing a Q&A, and signing whatever you have. It's going to be FUN.
And then we'll be repeating the format at 8:30 that night, when we'll be showing the original A Nightmare on Elm Street to a STRICTLY over-18 crowd...!
Again, I was too young to see this in the movies when it came out, and as one of my all time favourite horrors, I can't wait to see this in all its glory.

Fera: We, ladie(s) and gentleman, are at the core of what they call Ex-ccp12B . Or just...Titan. An exotic moon of saturn, as we speak. *he opens his arms quite widely to show off the scenery, that is a liquid ceiling, one of the walls being see-through and showing space itself, the other 5 sides showing nothing but dark stuff*
(Sorry, had to put Guinea pigs back. Aka had to chase them round a cage and wrestle with them trying to avoid their poop.)
*stumbles slightly at the landing and slowly pushing out of the metal, glaring murderously at Fera*

And why do we need to be here?
Fera: Because there is something that somebody else wants, that we need to get before them...or else...all the planets...oh, the galaxy actually...goes boom *mimics explosion with his hand* And I needed a vampire. I tried to avoid it, tried so hard to change my structure but it seems there's something in a vampire that cannot simply be replicated. So, you're basically the key to our mission. *smirks*
*narrows her eyes*
Need a vampire for what.
Fera: *turns to vivanus* oh, you don't at all but since I knew she would be a hard nut to deal with, I figured I could use your help. Plus, numbers are always good *nods and chuckles*
Fera: To extract an ancient weapon that your ancestors left here...ya know, nothing too fussy *looks at her*
* glares for a split second then goes back to normal, keeping his voice even*. I think you owe a bit more explanation
My ancestors? I'm going to presume you mean down the vampire line and NOT the human line.
*rolls her eyes*
Either way you've pulled a dud, my vampire "family" disowned me. Nice try.
Fera: What more explanation than this? Somebody is trying to steal something. I need your help. That's all. *walks with his arms open* *turns to silente and he keeps walking, has a glaring, smirking look* furthermore, you're going to be just right for the job, as a pure vampire could never hope to even go near IT. *sighs* oh my oh my. The clock is ticking, we're wasting time. We have got to be back in 48 hours or else we'll be stuck here for another month.
*steps over to fera, snarling in his face*
Okay listen here I am not being some pawn in your stupid arms race.
*faint spikes begin to form in his armour*
Fera: And I never said so. I said you're contributing to a cause. *looks her right in the eyes without even twitching*
Fera: *turns his head very slightly and looks at vivanus* come on dude, violence won't solve anything. You're more laid back than this.
*looks Fera up and down* you have no idea who I am, do you?
Either tell us what you a) need me to get and b) expect me to do to get it or I will gladly rip you apart.
Fera: No...*grin becomes a little sinister at this point* but I am eager to find out *his face is contorted and the light reflects off his gruesome features as his eyes become doll sized and weirdly shaped tumors are popping out of it* *his hand becomes a blade and it looks like he's about to attack but stabs himself instead* *there's a moment of silence* *he regains a completely normal pose and facial features* sorry about that. I go a little crazy after not feeling pain for some time. *his smile is genuine now and does not have that sinister vibe to it*
*raises an eyebrow* I'd be happy to help prevent that.
*backs up to Vivanus, careful not to impale herself on his armour*

Fera: *ignores that comment as he has just recovered from it* Now as I was saying, or more like HE was saying, I need your magic to extract a vampire crystal that can be turned into a weapon. Somebody else is out there to get it. Somebody really bad. His name is Hiei. We must get it before him. I just need you to use your magic at the right time so we can get it. That's all.
Just so you know I am 100% blaming you if I die because of this lunatic.
*looks up at Viv*

Do you know anything about vampires? The only unique ability a vampire possesses is to turn another person into a vampire, to be fast, to be strong, to have ridiculous senses and to turn into a blood thirsty monster when the sun sets.

Fera: *pretends to have no idea of what that necklace is* *he expected him to know that talking or even thinking or even feeling stuff is non-erasable from him* *clicks his hand and an a door opens up and there's an immense amount of force, built up from the pressure difference between this room and the next but fera holds out both of his hands and protects silente and vivanus from the pressure, literally pushing it back until it evens out* Phew.
Again, how do you expect me to help with extracting?

Fera: The crystal had artificial intelligence. It knows what is in its vicinity and it knows how to respond. It'll identify you as a safe personnel while I hide my presence and once it has all its defenses turned off, I am going to destroy it. *nods* *there's a small window panel in the next room and it shows a glowing orb/core quite some distance away but it also shows quite a lot of stairs and rooms leading to it* That is our final checkpoint. We need to reach it *tips hat*

Even when those OC's should technically be way weaker {like aquila the other week, I didn't break out a full fight on purpose}although your OC's sound op too so that's good, I won't have to make up stuff to give fair grounds or anything)

Theres a spider in my room... I have goosebumps and im hiding from it but also looking at it because I cant help but look :( its right in the corner... it isnt moving position but its legs keep moving... its so gross and scary im terrified haha ;)

Ummmm explanation ok so you said I should have a backstory??? When Sapphire was 3 her mom was murdered by an assassin and the assassin took her when he saw her shapeshift and she was taken in to a cult/sect/order/group/whatever of assassins/thieves/warriors who worship the night
(Google is my friend here) because in greek myths Nyx came from chaos and gave birth to lots of important things like destiny and fate and uh death because of Erebus??? so they worship the night and they take orders from the night about who to kill but in reality the leader of the group was using a magic device to give instructions to them which they thought was the night... but wasnt haha... anyway Sapphire disobeyed an order and the leader of the group got mad with her and tried to kill her and she had a blow to the head which cut her connection with the magical device/what she thought was the night and she managed to escape but shes hunted down by the order/group/whatever but still practices her religion in her own way and still follows the same code even though she still doesnt know the leader of the group was the one giving her instructions she thinks that she disobeyed an order from the night and she was abandoned by her instead of the reality that she refused to kill a child, the leader of the group got angry at her about it and a blow to the head stopped the leader from giving her orders about who to kill anymore so she still absolutely believes in her religion :)

i dont even... it isnt even the first time ive done it haha ;) I was trying to staple a LOT of computer game receipts together so I could keep it in one place and not lose them so I was kinda facing it to my chest so I could squeeze harder but the receipts slipped whilst I was stapling then ouch staple in my chest... it hurts pretty bad ripping it out also im bleeding quite a bit but ill be fine... I have a high pain tolerance so its fine ;)

They tend to avoid me, I think. The person I'm a clone of is their friend and I think they find me uncomfortable or bland. I'm not sure. She's a lot more dramatic and her sanity fluctuates so I guess people might think she's more fun than me. Or it could just be that I somehow repulse people, even if they loved me.

Yeah, I have been thinking about this for about 4 years now so...I think I've got a pretty good idea of what I am doing. My final goal is to have it animated in anime style. I love anime style animations and just visuals in general, so it would be really cool if that could happen! Of course, I do not do animation, so it would have to be other people but I really wish I will be able to make it happen! )

(Pfft. Fera he is taller than me, older than me, stronger than me, fights more than me and does judo better than me. Kicking him in the teeth really isn't an option. Only ONCE have me and him ended up fighting properly and he nearly knocked me out by ramming me backwards into a wall.)
