Cat is very ill and has been ill for over a week and I'm trying to persuade her to go to the doctor's
Darcie's trying to persuade Cat to get herself transferred to hospital (her words were "Come join me in here") (Incidentally that isn't persuasive as despite hardly being able to function Cat still insists on coming to school because she doesn't want to miss any lessons. If she went to hospital she'd miss school. DUH.)
@Jai: God knows. We thoguht she had the same illness as Cat, but her doctor thought she had appendicitis, but she doesn't. The hospital people think she probably has Crohn's disease or a gut infection or summat. She's got a dietrician and everything now though. O_O
Lizzie's literally crying and begging Cat to go to the doctors now. O_o

Catherine can be very stubborn and just refuse to accept reason sometimes. Which is good for arguing. But not so good when you're trying to persuade her to go to the doctor's. She's just like "Nah I'll be fine I'll just lie on the floor crying and hope it goes away."

And I don't know how it's a good solution. She's being Dan. -_- (Dan sort of punched his hand to death and then it sort of healed all mangled so he was sort of cutting it up to put the bones back in place, and he looked at a little bone and he asked if he needed it, and Sam told him that he did and that he wouldn't be able to move his hand if he took it out, but Dan cut it out anyway. And then he couldn't move his hand and he was like "Shit." And we were telling him that he needed to get his hand healed (which would literally take a few seconds) and he was just like "I don't need to be healed. It'll sort itself out" and we were like "You've got a bone missing" and he was like "Well, maybe it'll grow back." *facepalm*)

No i don't agree with the way she worded it but i think people that are ghosting are possibly intimidated by the amount of RPing "we" do. I say we like that cause it's only really Jai and Chloe now. Occasionally Keiron and I but i have been so busy with Uni stuff and work and my birthday stuff that i haven't really had a lot of free time on my hands. It sometimes puts me off from commenting too because Jai and Chloe ignore people a lot, they've been ignoring Keiron and I recently and i know it's probably just because they're so into it but it makes me feel really self-conscious and i think i've done something to piss them off or upset them...

The rp doesn't hurt anyone, it's what they enjoy and if somebody wants to comment without rp, they can, the rp isn't overshadowing any conversation, its mainly Chloe and jai who are on, they do what makes them happy nobody should make them feel bad for being happy. And they don't ignore people, they try hard to try and talk to everyone
I'm currently very tired. have an online test to do for accounting either tomorrow or Thursday, probably Thursday as i can't be bothered today. I can't be bothered going into the lecture or tutorial tomorrow either cause i hate it and i will fall asleep. I know i will. So i'd rather just go to the library to study. Yeah. Good plan...
I know the RP doesn't hurt anyone. I think it's just really intimidating and fills up basically all of this blog... this blog was made to talk about the books and i feel it's just a RP blog now when it wasn't made to be one...

(Yes they fucking do Jack. Look back at Me and Keiron's comments over the last few days. How many times did they NOT reply? I'm not blaming them. Sometimes i get too into RP and don't notice a person's comment and i feel really bad.
And i preferred the days where everyone gets involved. And yes it does effect people. I feel left out of RP because i don't know any ideas of plots which means i can't. And i don't really know what's happening with Jai and Chloe''s cause they do it so often i've lost track...)
@Jack: I agree with most of what you said there - I don't agree they should stop roleplaying because it makes them happiness, etc. And I know neither of them intend to ignore people. However, it is easy to accidentally ignore people while roleplaying (personally I think Jai and Chloe are pretty good at not ignoring me and i cant remember feeling hurt or ignored by either of them but I know that my mind and memories aren't fully reliable. Like if they ignored anyone else I wouldn't notice and if I was slightly ignored it wouldn't be a big deal and I would forget. But I can't remember either of them full-on ignoring me and I would remember that, plus I remembered multiple instances where they have deliberately talked to me and made me feel noticed) and you do often get the sense they aren't too focused on conversation. I don't mind, but it's still a thing. Also, when the main thing going on is roleplay, it does overshadow conversation. It is harder to converse when it's not the main thing going on and people aren't focusing on making said conversation exist. Like. I'm tired and I'm in a hurry, so I can't explain fully, but in my perception it certainly is a thing.
Once again, I fully support the existence of roleplay and I really don't mind it. Jai and Chloe are awesome people who are also very nice. But there is and will always be difficulties when chat and roleplay attempt to coexist. It's just a thing. It's no one's fault.
@Dragona: It's not a conscious logical thing. It's just that if there is roleplay, the conversation is no longer the main focus, meaning people put less effort into keeping it going (when conversation is the only thing keeping us talking quite a lot of effort gets put into it) and also it FEELS like the conversation is not the main focus and so you feel less included and your prescence feels less necessary.
@Jack: I think it's a bit presumptuous (ooh long word) to say no one is being affected. We all occupying the same space - each other's actions will affect each other. If two people have an argument it affects the whole atmosphere of the place and can emotionally impact bystanders despite the fact it's just between two people and everyone else can in theory just keep talking regardless.
Whatever we do, chat or roleplay, it does affect people. Sometimes more than others.
Yeah, I agree Star. From reading back on comments it seems to me they do a very good job of replying and talking to other people. And they always reply/acknowledged me when I come on briefly.
And Gemma, do you and Keiron specifically talk to them? Because I feel you mostly talk to each other? (Not a bad thing of course(!), but if you're not involving people in a conversation that doesn't effect them in anyway it is not odd they wouldn't reply.)

(No Duggy not specifically but i do say things to get people involved in. Like Jai and Star were talking about once upon a time a few days/weeks ago and none of them replied so i texted Jai to talk to her about it...that's me going out of my way to get a reply. But yeah i got ignored and i felt like shit because i didn't know either of them watched it and i loved it and i really wanted to talk and they never replied...The other night i was really happy about my profile picture that Struan drew and fair enough no one was on apart from Kassy and Struan but i was like "Look at how amazing this ship is!" and no one said anything, only Struan cause he drew it. I think Gemma just feels a bit insecure and so is sort of subconsciously looking for signs of ignoring. Like, have you ever thought someone was someone and interpreted their actions in a certain way, and then as soon as you find out who they really are your perception of their actions and intentions change as you have certain biases for the interpretation of the actions of that partocular person? Well, I think Gemma - unintentionally - is looking at everyone's actions with the bias that they might not like her etc., and that's influencing her interpretation if their actions. (Of course I could be wrong. I'm just telling you my opinion on the situation. Opinions can be unreliable and mine are no exception). And so she will interpret Jai and Chloe's actions in an overly negative way. And it's not Jai and Chloe fault. And Gemma knows that and said that. But it's not Gemma fault either.
My bus has been late pretty much every day for the past few weeks so I have decided to devote the extra few minutes of my life to stalking as it's much more fun than standing there in the cold. Stalking is actually rather fun. :)
@Chloe: XD I'm trying to work out where Cat is last period every day so I can find her and walk to the bus with her. Except if I, like, asked her, it would take all the fun out of funding her so I'm trying to work it out without asking her. I know she has chemistry last on a Monday in Kingston and maths last on a Friday in Riding, and I know she's free last period on a Thrusday. On a Wednesday she has history last but I don't know where she has it - it's either in the temporary block or in Kingston. Next week I'll wait outside Kingston and if she's not there then the week after I'll try to get to the temporary block - but if I don't get out my lesson fast enough she could leave before I get there so I'll have to hurry.
It's so fucking FUN. Why am I not a professional stalker?

Today she was doing maths in a free period, and she was struggling to understand what the questions were asking her and then couldn't remember how to do the simplest of things (I mentioned y = mx + c and she was like "but where do you get the m from?" and I was like "M is the gradient" (we've known this since year nine and y = mx + c has become second nature to us over the years) and she was like "but . . . oh holly I don't get it *leans on her hands and tenses up her face in pain and illness*")

@Kas: I'm not sure if that would be morally right. Like. I tend to really object to people pushing their viewpoint on what's 'best' for someone onto them when they protest. But at the same time, I would only be doing it because I care about her and want her to be better. But also, I don't want to make her life worse than it is already. But what if she doesn't get better. But if she gets any worse then surely she'll just collapse adn won't be able to function and then her parents will see she needs a doctor. But -
(@Star You've got to ask yourself what matters more to you: the relationship you have with your friend, or their physical health. Choosing to protect the relationship would make you more selfish, wouldn't it?

We're constantly arguing and saying mean things to each otehr and neither of us even consider that an issue. I'm not scared of people I know. I'm scared of people I DON'T know. I'm scared to go talk to authority figures at my school about her. I would be scared to book a doctor's appointment for her, but I asked google and that's not something I can do so it's okay. @Jai: Well, she first mentioned the stomach pains not last weekend but the weekend before, and she'd been feeling them for a while by then. She started feeling properly ill a few days after that. She's been getting increasinly ill as time's gone on - or maybe she's been this ill for a while but she's getting a bit resistent to painkillers - she's been talking four paracetamol (you're meant to sake two) along with ibuprofen and aspirin (you're not meant to take them together) and last night she was lying on the floor crying because she was so in pain and ill. So um. Yeah.
@Kas: Her parents know she's ill, but I think they probaby think she just has flu or summat.

@Jai: :/ Try taking deep breathes. Before my assessments, I found that that decreased the anxiety somewhat, although it was only a temporary measure; if I stopped, the anxiety returned.
@Jai: Yeah. I've never felt that kind of anxiety for any assessments other than languages speaking assessments. French = evil. :) (I'm fine with writing assessments, but with speaking ones it just triggers my fear of people and, like, SCARY. Also I did my lnaguages assessments before my GCSEs and hence before I'd got desensitized to all the exams.)

Just curious, why would people be scared of role play? They don't want to "interrupt"?

I know the RP doesn't hurt anyone. I think it's just really intimidating and fills up basically all of this blog... this blog was made to talk about the books and i feel it's just a RP blog now when it wasn't made to be one...

@Jack: I agree with most of what you said there - I don't agree they should stop roleplaying because it makes them happiness, etc. And I know neither of them intend to ignore people. However, it is easy to accidentally ignore people while roleplaying (personally I think Jai and Chloe are pretty good at not ignoring me and i cant remember feeling hurt or ignored by either of them but I know that my mind and memories aren't fully reliable. Like if they ignored anyone else I wouldn't notice and if I was slightly ignored it wouldn't be a big deal and I would forget. But I can't remember either of them full-on ignoring me and I would remember that, plus I remembered multiple instances where they have deliberately talked to me and made me feel noticed) and you do often get the sense they aren't too focused on conversation. I don't mind, but it's still a thing.
Also, when the main thing going on is roleplay, it does overshadow conversation. It is harder to converse when it's not the main thing going on and people aren't focusing on making said conversation exist. Like. I'm tired and I'm in a hurry, so I can't explain fully, but in my perception it certainly is a thing.
Once again, I fully support the existence of roleplay and I really don't mind it. Jai and Chloe are awesome people who are also very nice. But there is and will always be difficulties when chat and roleplay attempt to coexist. It's just a thing. It's no one's fault.
@Dragona: It's not a conscious logical thing. It's just that if there is roleplay, the conversation is no longer the main focus, meaning people put less effort into keeping it going (when conversation is the only thing keeping us talking quite a lot of effort gets put into it) and also it FEELS like the conversation is not the main focus and so you feel less included and your prescence feels less necessary.
(Once again - I ghost regardless. I don't mind.)
@Jack: I think it's a bit presumptuous (ooh long word) to say no one is being affected.
We all occupying the same space - each other's actions will affect each other. If two people have an argument it affects the whole atmosphere of the place and can emotionally impact bystanders despite the fact it's just between two people and everyone else can in theory just keep talking regardless.
Whatever we do, chat or roleplay, it does affect people. Sometimes more than others.
Yeah, I agree Star. From reading back on comments it seems to me they do a very good job of replying and talking to other people. And they always reply/acknowledged me when I come on briefly.
And Gemma, do you and Keiron specifically talk to them? Because I feel you mostly talk to each other? (Not a bad thing of course(!), but if you're not involving people in a conversation that doesn't effect them in anyway it is not odd they wouldn't reply.)

Like Jai and Star were talking about once upon a time a few days/weeks ago and none of them replied so i texted Jai to talk to her about it...that's me going out of my way to get a reply. But yeah i got ignored and i felt like shit because i didn't know either of them watched it and i loved it and i really wanted to talk and they never replied...The other night i was really happy about my profile picture that Struan drew and fair enough no one was on apart from Kassy and Struan but i was like "Look at how amazing this ship is!" and no one said anything, only Struan cause he drew it. Still no one said anything... :-/

I was actually really sad that no one replied to this one because it was really good and really important…I was wanting people to actually watch it which is why I posted it.
(Doing a presentation for marketing cause we get 10 extra marks for it. I'm doing mine on cartoons vs anime. And yes it's very bias but still. it's not a fair fight anyway...

This post i mean.
I think Gemma just feels a bit insecure and so is sort of subconsciously looking for signs of ignoring.
Like, have you ever thought someone was someone and interpreted their actions in a certain way, and then as soon as you find out who they really are your perception of their actions and intentions change as you have certain biases for the interpretation of the actions of that partocular person? Well, I think Gemma - unintentionally - is looking at everyone's actions with the bias that they might not like her etc., and that's influencing her interpretation if their actions. (Of course I could be wrong. I'm just telling you my opinion on the situation. Opinions can be unreliable and mine are no exception). And so she will interpret Jai and Chloe's actions in an overly negative way. And it's not Jai and Chloe fault. And Gemma knows that and said that. But it's not Gemma fault either.

I know she has chemistry last on a Monday in Kingston and maths last on a Friday in Riding, and I know she's free last period on a Thrusday. On a Wednesday she has history last but I don't know where she has it - it's either in the temporary block or in Kingston. Next week I'll wait outside Kingston and if she's not there then the week after I'll try to get to the temporary block - but if I don't get out my lesson fast enough she could leave before I get there so I'll have to hurry.
It's so fucking FUN. Why am I not a professional stalker?

Today she was doing maths in a free period, and she was struggling to understand what the questions were asking her and then couldn't remember how to do the simplest of things (I mentioned y = mx + c and she was like "but where do you get the m from?" and I was like "M is the gradient" (we've known this since year nine and y = mx + c has become second nature to us over the years) and she was like "but . . . oh holly I don't get it *leans on her hands and tenses up her face in pain and illness*")
She's such a stubborn idiot.

She's been getting increasinly ill as time's gone on - or maybe she's been this ill for a while but she's getting a bit resistent to painkillers - she's been talking four paracetamol (you're meant to sake two) along with ibuprofen and aspirin (you're not meant to take them together) and last night she was lying on the floor crying because she was so in pain and ill.
