Then I get home, and get two hours of work right away, and getting home takes at least an hour, so I'll be working till 9.

Like, when playing Snap, I think "oh huh that's a pair" and then I think "you should yell 'snap' now" and then I yell 'snap,' but the delay between "oh look there's a pair" and "SNAP!" means that I fail at Snap. :P
Bit like when Lizzie cycled off a cliff. She was cycling up to a corner adn shoud thought "oh look there's a corner" but when she reached the corner she was still thinkign "oh look there's a corner" and forgot to react to the fact there was a corner so she just cycled straight off. :P
