... I'm a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to languages. I don't care much when someone messes up English, but I'm more protective of German...
And, the problem with it flowing like that is that the small voice that read it out in your mind, at least in my case, just keeps going and going.
It gets faster and faster and then out of breath and there's still no point to stop and dear lord why is this sentence still going? ;P Basically, if it's so long you have trouble not to say it without breathing inbetween, it's time to put a comma or a fullstop. At least that's how I do it. ;)

We have to learn both ways of spelling and both vocabularies, here. British and American English. Then for each essay, you had to pick one and stick with it.
To be honest I couldn't quite be bothered, so just stuck to British English and left American English be. But still, for many words we had to know both ways of spelling them. ... people would have it a lot easier if all you English-speakers could just agree, at least on the spelling. >.>

K, you SHARE that language. It's neither yours nor theirs. To be precise, you should also include the Australians and the ones from New Zealand when finding a spelling for all of you lot.
... Germans have the Duden. Actually, you might want to spell it THE Duden. Yes, a book tells us how to spell, and it's been the same one for ages. I'm not even sure how they got that right, but every now and again our spelling gets changed. And then everyone has to learn the new way to spell.
I still have trouble to write photosynthesis as fotosynthesis or dolphin as dolfin. (Yes, really similar words, so I just changed it in the English versions. ;P ) ... apparently it's easier that way. >.>

Haha, I used to be reeeeeeally good at adding all my punctuation in the correct place because, even though I wrote everything how my inner head-voice said it, my inner head-voice was altered by the fact I read so many books. Books obviously usually have all the correct spelling, punctuation and grammar, so due to their influence the sentences I wrote were automatically written with correct spelling, punctuation and grammar (mostly).
When people didn't used to use commas or full stops, I would read their sentences in a really flat tone without any pauses, adn it used to really distract from the meaning of the sentence and annoy me.
Now, I read less books and do more talking to Lizzie. :P I'm so used to reading sentences without commas that now my inner head-voice automatically constructs sentences in a really flat tone without pauses, so when I type I automatically create sentences that are lacking in punctuation to match how I'm saying them in my head-voice. XD

:P By the end of these two years it'll be "you says "exam," I say "meh."" They really shouldn't bombard us with so much exam stuff. It really takes the shock value down and so means you are unable to motivate yourself into making a special effort. They'd been bombarding us so much in year eleven that by the time I got to my actual GCSEs I was struggling to give a fuck. XD
Actually when it came to our GCSEs we'd become so desensitized we just spend all our free revision time roleplaying and then stayed up later than one should for a school night as well, haha.
