I just had a weird thought. The events of Skulduggery Pleasant : The Malificent Seven set in the Star Wars universe. Didn't really think it through, and it's not quite following the books, but... Luke Skywalker is kind of like Val, in the sense that Luke can succumb to the dark side, like his father did. (And Val can succumb to Darquesse, plus she's a descendant of the Ancient Ones.)
And somebody will try to ensure Luke stays alive and eventually succumbs to the dark side, as Luke has no master to teach him, as Yoda died. (No Skul equivalent, here.)
I didn't really focus on this, as that's not what The Malificent Seven was about. It was about somebody killing pretty much all the good and bad guys. (Oh, Tanith!)
Say, a high-ranking Stormtrooper commander is charged with finding Princess Leia when she escapes the Death Star. When he reaches the planet with the rebel base, he sees most of his Stormtrooper friends die when the original Death Star blows up. He's pretty upset.
He wants to destroy the rebels now, more than ever before. But he can't assault the base as he'll have no backup, nothing to support this battle.
And over the next few months, he will keep trying to destroy the rebels, as well as plan his revenge against the Empire because the death of his brothers (clones) and friends happened because letting Princess Leia get away with the Death Star blueprints was the Empire's plan all along.
And then one Stormtrooper manages to kill all the non-important characters, such as Han, R2, 3PO, Leia, and the Emperor, as well as end the Rebel Alliance, and reshape the Empire.
Luke and Vader get to have their fight except they don't as the Stormtrooper kills Vader, too, so Luke doesn't yet see the full damage that succumbing to his hatred will do.
...
So I came up with all that while brushing my teeth a few minutes ago.

@Keiron I'm going for a "kill anyone but Luke" thing because that's inspired by The Malificent Seven. Tanith all but worships Darquesse, nobody matters but her. And Tanith is willing to kill anyone, as long as Val/Darquesse survives.
I've not got an idea for why the Stormtrooper would want Luke alive, or would want everyone dead but him, but... I have ideas, in the grand scheme of things.
As for aim, the stormtroopers in episode IV, afaik, got orders not to kill Leia or the rebels escaping the Death Star (Han, Luke etc) because the Empire wanted to track the Millennium Falcon to the hidden rebel base.
The Stormtrooper Commander wants to kill the people who made that decision, the people who gave orders to the stormtroopers telling them to reduce their accuracy in order to let the escaping rebels get away.
But he also wants to get back at the rebels, too.
So this time, he gives the orders. This time, he won't tell his men to miss. This time, he'll choose his team, from the best killers, bounty hunters and assassins in the galaxy.
