That's basically correct. 100¢ in $1 and we have pennies (1¢), nickels (5¢), dimes (10¢), and quarters ($25¢). Dollar coins do exist but you don't see them very much and most people don't use them ever.
Okay so I know the bills are pounds because they say ONE POUND across them but the coins are weird. There's a giant penny, a half penny, a 10 'new pence', 10 of something in a different language and a showbiz pizza place coin. Some how I think they're not all pence!
I think they stopped printing £1 notes about thirty years ago. If you've got one, it's probably worth a bit more than £1 by now. :) ^^
Also, not very relevant, but I think Scottish bank notes are different from the English ones? I have a Scottish fiver for some reason and it's all dark blue and unusual and lacking the queen's face?? :P
(yeh our £5 are blue :P I don't think any of our money has the Queen on it we have like william wallace or something and now we have these plastic £5 notes that stop wrinkles and they can get wet and it makes it harder to forge )

And there was a storm cloud, but it barely rained and the sun was still setting. The cloud left before the fireworks started, so they could still set them off. BUT WE GOT TO SEE A RAINBOW WHILE THE SUN WAS SETTING AND AT ONE POINT THERE WAS A DOUBLE ONE! :D

That's basically correct.
100¢ in $1 and we have pennies (1¢), nickels (5¢), dimes (10¢), and quarters ($25¢). Dollar coins do exist but you don't see them very much and most people don't use them ever.
$2 bills are like $1 coins but even more rare!!!
(we also have a £2 coin and a £5 coin (£5 coin very rare :P) aww yeh you have $1 notes more right? we don't have those at all lowest note is £5)

Okay so I know the bills are pounds because they say ONE POUND across them but the coins are weird. There's a giant penny, a half penny, a 10 'new pence', 10 of something in a different language and a showbiz pizza place coin. Some how I think they're not all pence!

I think they stopped printing £1 notes about thirty years ago. If you've got one, it's probably worth a bit more than £1 by now. :) ^^
Also, not very relevant, but I think Scottish bank notes are different from the English ones? I have a Scottish fiver for some reason and it's all dark blue and unusual and lacking the queen's face?? :P
(yeh our £5 are blue :P I don't think any of our money has the Queen on it we have like william wallace or something and now we have these plastic £5 notes that stop wrinkles and they can get wet and it makes it harder to forge )

We saw fireworks today! :D They were really good and we were so close!
And there was a storm cloud, but it barely rained and the sun was still setting. The cloud left before the fireworks started, so they could still set them off. BUT WE GOT TO SEE A RAINBOW WHILE THE SUN WAS SETTING AND AT ONE POINT THERE WAS A DOUBLE ONE! :D
