We, for example, tend to take the more British spelling of words over the American ones.)

God that food was good! Buffet style they had chicken, pork loin, macaroni things and veggies and then an ice cream sundae bar and cakes and omg
But the show was cool, I liked this Javert over the Broadway guy, but you know this was off Broadway but still cool. I cried through all of Act 2 and a few times in Act 1. Qe had to trvel all the way to Lancaster which was 2 hours away on a bus, then 2 hours back, but well worth it.

(Dugglyn - Where do you go in Canada? I largely stayed within British Columbia. I lived in Vancouver, but my family also owned a kind of holiday home close to Mount Assiniboine which we used to go to nearly every year. It is on the border between Alberta and British Columbia, I believe. You can definitely see a difference between the accents in British Columbia and those from somewhere like Nova Scotia, although telling our accent from the Americans is harder, but you can hear it in several words. I doubt that non-Canadians will be able to tell the difference, such as I will not be able to tell the accents from different regions of France apart. There are some slight differences.)

Seeing as I'm really disorganized, it took FOREVER to do all that.
And I /still/ don't know if I packed everything I needed. I'm leaving for her place tomorrow, so I'm hoping I don't forget any last minute things to bring. Like an iPod charger (:P) or any items I may be needing. And now my bed area looks like a mess because I have so much stuff on it(including a bag of things I bought today during shopping). I have no idea where to put them(oops)!

Sophia- Quadra island, in BC. You can tell if someone speaks Canadian French or English though most people in Quadra speak English.
Also, it makes sense that people sound different across the country, it's the same anywhere. But that's just in the southern part of British Columbia.
