My new story about Velvet (you don't have to read);
March 12th, 1901
This day above Earth, the sun began to emerge into a sky which was painted a beautiful shade of blue, blue mingled with lighter shades of pink, yellow and scarlet. A sky like this was rare, very rare. The tip of a tower was illuminated through the rapidly diminishing darkness as a new day broke through. This particular tower was the peak of a castle, the castle of Elektra and Thaumas, King and Queen of the Gods. It stood majestic on a hill, the crystal clear water of the river setting it apart from the rest of the land, burbling as it went. As the sun came up over the castle wall, it set alight the sapphire stream, causing it to sparkle and gleam in the morning's light. Seconds later, the once dormant town nearest to the castle was alive with figures running about to begin their work. And so a new day began, little out of the ordinary. The large city was crowded, every God staying to work around the place or leaving to another city, beginning their business for the day. That is, every man but one.
