My dad has a full time job.
He works five days a week.
He starts work at around nine and probably finishes around five.
He gets an hour for a lunch break.
Once he is home, he doesn't do any work. That is it. He also doesn't have to do anything at weekends.
I go to school five days a week.
I start school around nine.
I finish around half three.
I then usually have to do work distantly till I go to bed, so, because of the distance, we'll say that's four hours of work.
I get an hour of lunch break, but I am expected to do more work in that.
As already mentioned, I have to do work when I get home, but I also work through my weekends.
I am doing more work than my dad.
I am doing the equivilant of more than a full time job.
All the other people in my year group are in the same position as me.
I am only sixteen - still legally a child - and others in my year group are fifteen. They don't even get to legally fill a car with petrol or purchase adult train tickets.
Someone please explain to me how this is legal.

A bit tired. Starting- well, it started yesterday, but- I've gotten a lot busier during the day. Mainly mornings and evenings... /And/ starting today, my friend's helping me learn Korean and Japanese. AT THE SAME TIME. I mean, I was able to get eight English words memorized in both Japanese /and/ Korean(some words having two ways to say it), so it was okay-ish, but still. I am going to be SO confused later on...
That said, I may not stay on so long at night... Because I think I'm going to need the extra rest for the next day... Which, sadly, also means that you may be seeing less of me in general.
I'm going to be really busy from today up to my birthday, but that's all I know so far. I could still have a tight schedule once my birthday's passed. And by busy, I mean during the times you guys will be on. I /will/ have some free time, but no one's usually on around then.

Ah, see, I've been learning French and German at the same time for the padt two years, and am right now memorising a ton of vocab for both, but the thing is, French and German are really different . . . so it's pretty easy to differentiate. I mean, I know both the French and German for 'criticism' and 'protect,' and when you look at the difference between 'critique' and 'Kritik,' or 'protéger' and 'schützen,' you can easily tell which word belongs to which language. Whereas Korean and Japanese are, I think, pretty similar . . . so it must be really hard to learn them both at once. D:
Yeah, learning something like Russian and Spanish would be easier than French and Spanish, because less confusion...

We're watching Jeopardy and my dad suddenly decides to talk on the phone, talking loud as can be in the same room. So I turn the volume up, he tells me to lower it I told him to go into a different room like we do.

Yesterday in chorus I came up behind my friend and whispered Hail HYDRA and I actually scared her shitless and she screamed where's Whitehall and oh it was hysterical. Then she whacked me and told me I was just as bad as FitzSimmons and then I started telling her about Tahiti and well it was funny.
@El And Zaf I pause the tv. Because we got a new tv (oh wait, it's over a year old..) And it's cool like that. But I rarely watch tv so I'm not sure I count.
Our phone is in the kitchen/down the hallway, so we never have that problem. But I would rurn the volume up if watching the TV, and if I was on the phone I would go into another room anyway to hear over the TV.

(@Jai Yeah, it's weird like that. I'd always remember more things than certain other people, but generally, there's no such thing as too much revision. It's better to know as much as you can for the exam.)
Scarlet: Yeah, I actually talk to Tama a lot, but mostly because her mind is constantly thinking. She's always getting these made up conversations in her head, and sometimes I interrupt because they grow too far. That, and I'm the voice that's always telling her off for being lazy. In a way, you could say I'm the more sensible one. I try to keep Tama from doing stupid things.
