@Silver: It's not your fault. Sometimes things happen because people are people, and combinations of lots of things have consequences. It takes a pint of water to fill a glass. Whether you added a drop or not, you didn't fill it nor overflow it, so to speak. You'd only hold as much blame as hundreds of other drops. You're not to blame.
(No Sophia, I didn't. I said that my friend reminded her of me. Those are my friends traits. I did not compare her to Jai whatsoever... I'm trying to fix it, I've been texting her and she's not replying, what else can I do? I'm trying my best! I've said sorry! why the hell do you hate everyone except her and Star!)
(Things will not change if everyone will tell her that it is not her fault. Whether it means I am being rude or making the situation worse - I have made my point. Being polite is of no priority to me.)
(Soph, for once in your life will you stop being you? Quit making arguments. Quit being a bitch. Just shut up and let it go like everyone else already had.)
(I said she was like a little sister. How is that offensive? in any way? clingy is sometimes a good thing, and you imagine a smaller sibling to be clingy. You're blowing this way out of proportion and are ruining the only time I've been happy today. Just because you're depressed all the time does not mean you have to pass it on to everyone else! I've been nothing but nice to everyone here, especially you. I've tried to make you feel better, I always try and say hi an bye to everyone. I'm trying my best to make friends and you're just shooting me down...)
(Okay just STOP BLAMING PEOPLE. Me being a selfish little brat is NOBODIES FAULT, UNDERSTOOD?? If I'm being a mood bitch that's ME not anyone else! So Soph stop fucking blaming people! I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow, if not later, with my fucking non existant tail between my legs begging forgiveness and hating myself but right now I couldn't give a shit! Now I'm going to go, I'm not answering my phone, or my email. I'm going to sit, play my music as high as it goes, and cry myself to sleep cause that's my fucking thing. You're going to stop BLAMING EACH OTHER FOR MY MOODS and you're going to temporarily forget about me, not exactly a hard task for most of you. Now goodbye)
(I don't have any spare clothes...I can change my appearance but new clothes takes up a lot of magic power...I've wasted a lot today... *Shivers and looks at her ruined red dress* *Takes off her heals and throws them off the mountain*)
*Sighs* From what she said on the blog, it seems that she still cares. Even though she may have said she didn't. *Hugs him tighter* Anyway, didn't you say you got over her?
(*sighs and comes crawling back, metaphorical tail between her legs* *stares at the ground* Sorry everyone..especially Kas.. And Iris.. And Soph.. And everyone else..)
So do I. Snow is brilliant. *smiles, making it snow above her own head, face tilted back and tongue out to catch flakes* *grins, shaking her head slightly, snow in her hair* *stops the snow* Finished, Beth?
Bethany: Okay... *they vanish in a flash of gold, reappearing in Liliana's throne room*
Liliana: *she is sat on her throne with her legs crossed, wearing a short skirt with tights, and a top which leaves her shoulders and her stomach bare* Ah yes. Come to... negotiate, have we?
Liliana: I am not an unreasonable person. I am, however, somewhat occupied. The third option is to invite me to dinner at your house - once every few weeks. Although I would not usually ask for something quite so lenient, I am rather in the mood.
(I believe having images and warnings about the health effects of smoking on the packaging is a good idea. However, I would ban smoking entirely if I was in the government. The only reason why they have not done so already is because of the money they get from taxes. And I rather believe that some drugs which are currently illegal would be made somewhat more acceptable if the government could place tax on it. Smoking harms the smoker and those around them - therefore it should be banned. Or at least have very serious health warnings in the packaging.)
Bethany: It does... Why aren't you making us do something horrible?
Liliana: As I said - I am somewhat occupied. I will be leaving in a few minutes. Going to somewhere called Paris?
@Sil: Oh, I see. Yeah, but I guess whole the point of having them is that they're scary. :/
And- Oh. Cool. :)
Although--- I searched it, and, apparently, no openings? The vibration passes straight through the skin/muscle to the bone, to the inner ear. So, there's a thing. :)
(Well, and the huge industries they support Sophia. To abolish the industry would save some lives but destroy others. And there are doubt's a ban would be very effective... But yes, I agree in principle with banning smoking.)
@Sophia: On cigarette packets, it says "Smoking kills" or "Smoking seriously harms you adn others around you" (my dad bought soem cigarettes in Italy and I managed to translate it and it said something like "Smoking harms you, and it harms your friends, your family and your children"), or sometimes they have revolting pictures on them. I think that buying something when it has the fact that it will harm you stamped all over it is a pretty big preventative.
I think I agree in principal with banning smoking.
Assuming you're cisgendered, can you please tell me if you ever question your gender? If you don't, great, thanks, and if you do, how much, to what extent?
Sorry, just, I like to be able to hop in on discussions and go "Yup, cisgender people don't really dwell on gender," but it would be nice if I could get some more views from more cis people so I'm talking from a wider experience and not just from the views of one cisgendered person. :)
Well Star, I've always felt and been sure I am male. But (maybe this is because I was raised in a predominately female household) I've never really conformed to the whole gender roles thing. For instance, I never really got boys' colours and girls' colours. I just said "Guys, they're just colours. There is no inherant rule of the universe that states that this colour should be closer associated with this gender." Except less elequently, and maybe that's because I was a little sharper than those who I was hanging around with. And the other guy who agreed with me is now a real maths wizz. And my sister asks me for my opinion on outfits and junk.
I don't know, I'm male, but not in the traditional sense.
Once I foudn the Gender Discussion section on AVEN I had a few "ohmygosh what if I'm not actually female" moments, but they're only like my "ohmygosh what if i actually have cancer" moments, which I tend to haev every now and then, so they don't really count. Whereas I think that most non-cis people can look back over their life and can see a load of little moments that suggest they were never cis - like how I can look back over my life and see how I was never straight. *shrugs* I worked out I was asexual because I doubted my straightness, and if I had been in an orientation that didn't define itself by negation I don't think I would ever have had all those doubting moments that drew to me to run to google for help. Which is apparently the same reason a lot of non-cis people can convince themself they're not overreacting - because they can count all the added-up doubts and know they have to have existed for a reason.
*grunts, wincing slightly at the rather violent reaction from Onwa at having heard her name* I'm fairly certain dates change one night stands Liliana. They tend to eradicate them in fact.
*takes Beth's hand and nods, wincing each time that name is said* Mhmm. Not at all. So, you know, enjoy the date! Don't forget to fall madly in love with whoever it is and commit to them completely. *nods*
@Star: Um. idk. I don't really see the significance of my gender, because I don't really care? I'd still probably say I'm cis, but I don't really identify by way of 'yes I'm female & conform to a female gender role' so much as 'yes I'm female and human'. I don't really identify that way? So, I don't think that's doubting, but it's not really deciding either? ^^
But when you say that cisgender people don't really dwell on gender -- that seems like a pretty wide generalisation?
INCIDENTALLY, this talk of gender roles give me another opportunity to rant about the Stormlight Archive. C:
In the Stormlight Archive, they have quite divided gender roles. I mean, females and males have to eat different foods (which is really quite ridiculous). But the thing is, they have slightly DIFFERENT gender roles. Yes, males are the ones who go to war and stuff, and I guess they're pretty important because being a soldier is, in Alethi (first-world - Alethkar is like America, basically) culture being a soldier is the highest Calling you can have, and men also do physical things like farm and stuff, whereas women handle written work. But women are the only ones who are allowed to write, and women are the ones who do maths and everything. So it's interesting because their gender roles are so BALANCED - yes, men can be soldiers and farmers and leaders, but women are needed for writing, because like, you don't get far without anyone to write things down, and you also need women for history and science and everything. So they're really both equally important. Which is so cool, in my opinion. :)
ALSO ALSO ALSO another Stormlight Archive gender-role-ish-ish point - Do you know that people aren't hardwired to find breasts attractive? Hang on, there was a post on AVEN about this with a linked article. http://broadblogs.com/2010/11/04/men-aren%E2%80%99t-hard-wired-to-find-breasts-attractive/ ^ Article.
And the Stormlight Archive also illustrates this rather well because in Alethi (first-world) culture, a woman's left hand if her 'safehand' and a woman's right hand is her 'freehand,' and when she reaches adolescence she has to cover up her safehand when in public. Darkeyed women of lower class tend to just wear a glove (Kaladin's mother wore a glove, and he thinks wearing a glove is a lot more practical anyway), but lighteyed women usually have a longer cuff on their left sleeve and the cuff is kind of fastened at the bottom so that their hand is protected. And having your safehand uncovered in public is like a woman walking around in public without her breasts covered - it's, like, really tabboo. I remember when Shallan (lighteyed) was disguising herself as a darkeyes once she wore a glove on her safehand instead of having it cuffed off as she usually would, and she felt really naked and embarrassed and looked for opportunites to put her hands in her pocket. Also, lots of women become very proficent and doign things one-handed due to the fact they can only use one set of fingers, and so on.
It's really rather fascinating. :)
If you ask me, the fact that women can't walk around shirtless is stupid. :/
@Taia: Of course it's kind of a wide generalisation . . . I think it's more of a 'tend to' then a 'DO', really, but yeah.
And, yeah. Someone on AVEN decided to use the word 'cis-genderless' to describe the fact that they were comfortable with being seen as and presenting as cis, but they didn't really feel like any particular gender . . . and it seems to me that half the world would fit under that definition. :/
... By the way, @Tia, @Sil, @anybody else - would you prefer Kas, Jai, other-people's-preferred-names? I tend to stick to the same name unless I know you'd prefer another so -- ? ^^
@Trip: I'm not comfortable with it, actually. Really not. My emotions conform to society even if I don't want to. Plus, it's illegal - which is what's REALLY stupid.
@Star: It's interesting. But, maybe they're balancing eachother, but balanced is not synonymous with equal. And I think - why not have men & women who write and men & women who do maths and then they're still balanced?
I mean, idk. idk, sex/gender inequalities just confuse me generally, tbh. Like that's an interesting concept, but it's also ridiculous. :P
Ember: *she appears in a flash of fire, wearing a long red dress* *her hair is down over one of her shoulders* Lilia- *she frowns slightly* What are you doing here?
@Silente: I really don't. IU hate swimming costumes, too. Like, wearing a swimming costume is pratically the same as being naked. One of the reasons why I dislike summer - that's just so much social push for poeple to hang out in swimwear and I'm just like "No. No. Not comfortable with this." :P
@Taia: Yes - of course. Obviously it's far better to have everyone able to do eveyrthing, but balanced gender roles are better than unbalanced ones? Idk, though. As their gender roles are balanced, they might never get around to equalising them beacuse it wouldn't be such of a problem. :/
@Taia: All inequalities are just stupid, really. Like, who the hell decided to create a division based on skin colour? At least in the Stormlight Archive they have a REASON for their lighteyed/darkeyed segregation. :/ (yup, I managed to stick anotehr reference in. C:)
@Star: ... What about Chaos Walking? The gender divide there is based or at least vastly emphasised by the obvious silence/noise division. Would you consider that differently to gender divide based entirely on anatomical difference?
I didn't like the secondtwo chaos walking books, which were the ones that involved all of that stuff. It was just too dark for me. I couldn't really stomach it.
(Aye Sophia, on the second thing. But I don't think passing laws that say people can't do things others can for their own protection is a bit controlling. But if you do intend to not wear a top, I kind of agree that you've got to expect people will look, which may be part of my problem with it really. :p)
@Taia: When I go on holiday and go to the beach pretty much everyone is in swimwear and my mum socially pushes me to be in swimwear too. :/ I mostly just wear clothes anyway. Thin t-shirts and short shorts. It works. :P
@Sophia: How so? (genuine question)
@Taia: Well, it's kind of a contextual reason, but, basically, there are these magic blades/armour (Shardblades/Shardplate) and they're really, REALLY socially valued - the value of a kingdon is often unoffically based on how many Shards they have, and only the very high-up people (royalty/lords) end up getting Shards. If a darkeyed person obtains Shards (it's very ownership-y - I know you specially bond with your Shardblade in order to make it disappear and appear at your will, for instance), their eyes turn light. So you can see why they got the prejudice of 'light eyes are better' from. (But obviously, to the majority of the people who have never had contact with Shards, your eye colour makes no differetn whatsoever and having such a severe segregation based on it is ridiculous.)
And to answer your Chaos Walking question (yay, Chaos Walking question!), yes, that is a reason for their being a divide, but it's only as much of reason as we already have.
*slowly begins to stretch herself out- she fell asleep curled up by the door of Trip's bar, and finds herself unsurprisingly stiff and sore* *pushes herself off the ground, feeling groggy and knowing how messy her hair must look, and stumbles away to find flowers*
(Breasts are rather sensitive. If something would collide with them then it would hurt considerably. At least if you have clothes on you have some form of protection. And let's face it, some people have a lack of self control and might attempt to touch.)
((So, I have a question. On Aretha's planet, there are people with very dark blue or green skin, and then there are people in the middle with less defined and lighter shades of blue and green skin. The lighter skinned people are heavily discriminated against, but that's because the darker skinned people are nearly always a good deal more powerful. And it's forbidden for a dark skinned person to marry or have children with a light skinned person, because that would dilute their power- the child would be lighter than their dark parent. What do you think of that kind of divide?))
*considers finding a town, but decides against it- she wants real flowers for this* *preferably ones she can plant* *she knows where there are roses* *but they're Adra's- she couldn't take them* *wanders around looking for wild flowers*
*eventually, one foot catches on the other, and she trips* *stares at the ground for a few moments* *there are no flowers in sight* *some of Blogland is even covered in snow* *makes a small sound of sadness and frustration, and places her hands over the dirt again, trying desperately to make something grow* *nothing is working*
@Star: Oh, fair enough. We don't holiday that much, so... :) But- I'd wear clothes over swimwear, and nobody socially pushes me out of that ^^
And- *nods* Okay, but say, is whether or not you can bond with a blade that different from a gender division? Like, they're both (I presume) a biological basis? Could 'My blade makes me better than you' be compared to 'My testosterone makes me better than you', for example? Idk. I'm not arguing, here, just think it's interesting. :)
Um. Gotta go. *hugs all* Y'all are perfect n super. :) Bye! ^^

I'm basically on it now so yeah!!!
Can't wait to start (I say that now.... ) )
(*hugs Vel and Aria*
Both of them will be okay, I'm sure of it )
(What even happened there? I hope Jai knows I was just joking around...
Omg this is my fault...
*crawls into the corner*
*watches the elements dancing*
They're beautiful, Malygos...)
*hugs Sil*
I don't think you're to blame, Aria. It's okay. :)
(It's not ok...)
(I, however, disagree, Star. She called Jaimie clingy, she called her moody, she openly mocked her when she was clearly upset, she called her jealous - it is her doing.)
J: I'll be alright... people leaving is nothing new, I just thought she was different...
(Excuse me? I was clearly joking on...
and I didn't think it was clear. I didn't know she was upset. I thought she was just RPing with kas and I.
Sophia you're really rude...
But sure. It's my fault. And I'm trying to fix it. So back off...)
(I did not call Jaimie clingy. I said my clingy friend reminded me of her. That doesn't mean that's one of her traits.)
John, maybe she was. It seems as though she still cares about you, even though you may be over her.
*Plays with his hair*
(*Spits out water*
*She's soaking wet*
*Looks up at Malygos*
Did you do that on purpose...?)
("( Why does your friend remind you of me?)"
"(She's a midget, she looks really young, she's quite clingy to me and she's like a little sister...)"
You, purposeful or not, called her clingy.)
:-/
@Silver: It's not your fault.
(And everyone get the fuck of Sophia's back. BACK OFF you hear me!!!)
Guys, please be careful. :/
Throwing blame around won't solve anything.
*cuddles Moss, who is everyone*
(*sighs* Jai...)
(Jai, we care, okay. We care. I'm sorry for ruining your evening.)
(Okay, I'm sorry to add more drama to this evening but I'm leaving bye)
(*Glares at Sophia and goes back to her corner*
I'm fine, Malygos, just cold and soaking...)
(Wait, Velvet what do you mean bye? bye as in goodnight or bye as in "I'm never coming back"?)
(No.
*hugs herself and looks out over Blogland*)
J: She's made it pretty clear she does not want me back.
[hugs Taia]
(I don't have any spare clothes...I can change my appearance but new clothes takes up a lot of magic power...I've wasted a lot today...
*Shivers and looks at her ruined red dress*
*Takes off her heals and throws them off the mountain*)
How so?
*Looks down at him*
J: I would rather not look through old skype messages for quotes.
*Sighs*
From what she said on the blog, it seems that she still cares. Even though she may have said she didn't.
*Hugs him tighter*
Anyway, didn't you say you got over her?
(*Stares in wonder at the portal*
Where does it lead...?
*Looks up at him*)
Have you?
(How could you lend me clothes? unless you can also transform into a young girl
*laughs*)
*Sighs*
I think you should talk to her. Tell her how you feel. No shouting, just talking. As friends.
(Oh ok.
*walks through the portal*)
How I feel matters very little to her.
I doubt it.
(O.o Adam what the heck is that?)
And do you know?
(Code for what?
*looks around the library*
Woah...Malygos this is amazing...)
I just have a feeling.
(hello...)
(Hello, Chloe.)
(Hey Chloe...
*Her dress is dripping water on the carpet*
*Stays where she is so she doesn't get water everywhere*)
*hugs CHloe* Hey :)
How're you doing?
(soooooooo how are things?)
(*huggles Taia* things are alright...you?
Sorry, how* do you know.
(*sighs* And the blog is like dead...)
(how art thou Silver?)
(Shit.)
(*sighs and comes crawling back, metaphorical tail between her legs*
*stares at the ground*
Sorry everyone..especially Kas.. And Iris.. And Soph.. And everyone else..)
*scowls at Claire*
Stopping it before it hits your head is cheating!
(*hugs Jaimie tightly*)
(okay....I think I will leave until this place becomes more positive)
(*hugs A back, then pushes him in Aria's direction pointedly*)
Claire: Ah, yes. That's a good point. *the snow starts to move horizontally into Silente's face instead*
(*Goes over to the table and sits, looking at the book*)
*Closes her eyes, arms wrapped round him*)
(*hugs Soph tightly back*
*hugs Chloe gently*
Hi..And bye if you're leaving..)
*laughs and raises her hands to protect her face*
*stops the snow, rolling her eyes*
Meanie.
(*slinks over to Jai and cuddles her*)
(*cuddles Aria*
I'm sorry..)
@Chloe: Alright, too, I think. :)
*hugs Sil* You're perfect. :)
*huggles Chloe* Bye? ^^
(one last thing, I emailed you jai
*leaves again*)
(*hugs raisin and grunts* hardly.)
Claire: *she smiles* You're the one who tried to make it snow on my head.
Bethany: I like snow.
@Sil: Totally, as far as I'm concerned. ^^
wbd
So do I. Snow is brilliant.
*smiles, making it snow above her own head, face tilted back and tongue out to catch flakes*
*grins, shaking her head slightly, snow in her hair*
*stops the snow*
Finished, Beth?
(*shakes head and hugs Taia*
Hm)
(I agree with Taia.)
Bethany: *she nods and smiles* One moment... Start the snow again.
(Shh. Soph doesn't get a say.
*nods*)
Okay..
*starts the snow above herself again, smiling*
*watching Beth*
(*returns*
*walks up to Jai*
*crushes her in a hug*
I care. Why won't you understand how much I care about you? You're amazing!)
(*breathes and stuff*
*breathes*)
(How are you feeling, Jaimie?)
(It's my fault Jai...*hugs tighter*
*Hugs Adam too*
Wow...
*smiles*
*Looks up at him*
Thank you)
(*is crushed in a hug*
*weakly hugs back*
Breathing, Kas.. kinda important!)
(*hugs Aria back*
Shh! No! Not your fault at all.)
(I do get a say.)
Bethany: *she smiles, standing up and approaching her* *she kisses her passionately in the snow*
*hugs Sil back*
I think Sophia & I have a strong case here. :P
@Sophia: *nods* :)
(Nope. No you don't Soph. None what so ever. *gags Soph* *hugs her, pinning her arms down*)
*makes a slight noise of surprise then grins, kissing her passionately back, the snow falling thicker*
(*shakes head at Taia* Soph doesn't get a say. *nods*)
SOPHIA ALWAYS GETS A SAY.
(*blinks at star*)
@Silente: *shakes head, too* But Sophia's cool. :)
*blinks back at Silente :P*
@Taia: Yes. She is. As are you. :)
. . . And you're both cool enough to be right. :)
(*blinks at star*
*whispers* Shhh..Soph no get say about this..)
(*she moves from Jaimie's grip, hugging her back before moving the gag away* I would like a say.)
Bethany: *she smiles, cuddling against her* I've always wanted to kiss in snow...
... yes. Or what Star said. :P
@Star: !!! :)
(*frowns* ...that's cheating.. *pokes Soph gently*)
*holds her close*
*smiles*
I'll make it snow more often then..
*slowly stops the snow*
Shall we go..?
(How are you feeling, Jaimie?)
(It is using initiative.)
Bethany: Okay. *she smiles*
(*hugs Kas*
Honestly? Exhausted. And angry that it's Wednesday.)
(Shh. Cheating. *smiles* Big words don't change the meaning.)
*takes her hand*
Can you take us? I'd like to conserve some energy..
*hugs the puny mortals. All at the same time, with really long hug arms*
Hey.
(Okay. Now please avoid hurting yourself.)
(Hey Trip.
@Kas I'm not hurting myself. Apart from my sore throat. But that's hardly my fault.)
Bethany: Okay. *she smiles, holding Silente's hand* Where to?
Liliana's castle.
*sighs and presses against her side*
Throne room. We need to have a word with her.
@Star: Why, thank you. :)
You're a very wise bubble. :) ^^
Hi, Trip!
*hugs back*
*wonders if he's secretly, like, Mrs Incredible or something*
*is secretly a transgender superhero*
Bethany: Okay... *they vanish in a flash of gold, reappearing in Liliana's throne room*
Liliana: *she is sat on her throne with her legs crossed, wearing a short skirt with tights, and a top which leaves her shoulders and her stomach bare* Ah yes. Come to... negotiate, have we?
*frowns, normally Liliana's clothing isn't THAT revealing...*
Yes. We have. I asked you for three options..I'd like to know them.
(Btw, did anybody notice the moustache on dragon snake? -->
I slaved over that for all of about 45 seconds. :P)
@Trip: PLOT TWIST.
(xD raisin that picture is brilliant.)
(I got a jar of dirt!)
(...
I'm sorry, Jai. I'm sorry for ruining your evening.)
(XD Taia.)
Yes, by day I am just a mild mannered Tumblr blogger, but by night, I solve crime!
(@Kas Shh. You didn't ruin my evening!)
MOUSTACHE ON THE DRAGON SNAKE! :)
(Where have I heard that before..?)
Ikr Star? He shouldn't have moustache! He's a reptile!
Thanks xD ^^
@Trip: *dramatic gasp from the unsuspecting audience!*
(Wow O_O Plain packaging on Smoking boxes is SCARY)
@Trip: Hey.
*glares*
Stop being . . . . . . . somewordsomething. Everyoen should be allowed to have freedom of expression. :)
@Silente: O_O PLAIN PACKAGING????
Liliana: I am not an unreasonable person. I am, however, somewhat occupied. The third option is to invite me to dinner at your house - once every few weeks. Although I would not usually ask for something quite so lenient, I am rather in the mood.
HEY
HE CAN HEAR YOU
SHUNNING HIS STYLE
REJECTING HIS FACIAL HAIR
HAVE SOME RESPECT MAN
(@Star yeah. Like, scary graphic images of what happens if you smoke as basically the entirety of the packaging O_O)
*tilts head*
That sounds..somewhat reasonable..
Wait
No
CAn snakes hear?
Like, do they have ears? ^^
(Snakes have holes in the sides of their heads? They can also pick up vibrations..)
(More like small holes on the sides of their heads.)
Aye, Silente and J.
Also, he shouldn't have hair, he's a reptile. That's not healthy. :P
(I agree Soph.)
*frowns more, slightly panicking*
*Paris is France*
*paris is family*
Why are you going to Paris?!
@Sil: Oh, I see.
Liliana: I am meeting someone. Why do you sound so nervous about it?
*swallows*
No reason. Meeting who?
@Sophia: On cigarette packets, it says "Smoking kills" or "Smoking seriously harms you adn others around you" (my dad bought soem cigarettes in Italy and I managed to translate it and it said something like "Smoking harms you, and it harms your friends, your family and your children"), or sometimes they have revolting pictures on them.
I think that buying something when it has the fact that it will harm you stamped all over it is a pretty big preventative.
I think I agree in principal with banning smoking.
@Trip: Did you never hear of a bearded dragon? :P
Hey
hey folks.
A, but they aren't actually reptiles, Taia. Bearded dragons are actually fish.
Liliana: Can't a girl go on a date without being interrogated?
(I do not question my gender, Star.)
(@Star uh once or twice? Never seriously though.)
*frowns, this time for all different reasons*
*ignores the distant thumping in her head*
Course you can..
*shrugs*
Enjoy your date, I guess..
Liliana: Why thank you. However, please tell my dear Onwa that this will not change anything between us.
*nods at Sophia*
*nods at Silente*
Yeah. That's what I thought.
*grunts, wincing slightly at the rather violent reaction from Onwa at having heard her name*
I'm fairly certain dates change one night stands Liliana. They tend to eradicate them in fact.
Liliana: I will take Onwa out for a meal at some point.
Bethany: ... Onwa isn't coming out...
@Trip: Gender =/= gender roles. :)
Also, thank you. :)
*takes Beth's hand and nods, wincing each time that name is said*
Mhmm. Not at all. So, you know, enjoy the date! Don't forget to fall madly in love with whoever it is and commit to them completely.
*nods*
(Not sure what I'm doing here.
What are you guys doing here?)
(@Kas conversing with like minded individuals.)
Liliana: Hardly. We are somewhat more casual than that. I just find her incredibly... hot. *she smiles* I will enjoy it, however.
*frowns*
*Hot..*
*remembers Ember being here the other day*
Oh my...Ember?!
(Oh.
I feel so weird. Depressed, sad, numb, all at once. I don't know why I'm here.
Perhaps I like to forget.)
*returns to her bunker and continues building Rotia*
(*hugs Las tightly*)
Liliana: *she taps her nose* Perhaps. Perhaps not.
(I will be back soon.)
Oh my..I feel sick. Ew..Ew Ew Ew Ew Ew Ew Ew Ew!
*shudders slightly*
Okay, we're going now!
(Okay Soph.)
I dedicate this page to four people:
Seirsha (Velvet/Flo/Kay)
Lavender Hope
Blake/J
Sil/Jai
You guys have been great to me. Thank you.
(Here he__)
*hugs Kas :/ :/*
Sorry I looked, Hearthstone is really good. :P
And also, aye Star.
Hear hear Tanya.
@Trip:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pogona
Rrrrrrreptile. :P
@Star: Um.
ALSO ALSO ALSO another Stormlight Archive gender-role-ish-ish point -
Do you know that people aren't hardwired to find breasts attractive?
Hang on, there was a post on AVEN about this with a linked article.
http://broadblogs.com/2010/11/04/men-aren%E2%80%99t-hard-wired-to-find-breasts-attractive/
^
Article.
*hugs Tia* :(
... By the way, @Tia, @Sil, @anybody else - would you prefer Kas, Jai, other-people's-preferred-names?
I tend to stick to the same name unless I know you'd prefer another so -- ? ^^
(I'm okay with either.)
I don't know Star. If you're comfortable walking around shirtless, go for it. I don't really see why anyone would want to, even if it was really hot.
And damn ye Taia!
Wbd, playing Hearthstone.
(No, actually, Taia, I'd prefer Tia from you, just to confuse and befuddle you XD)
(No, actually, Taia, I'd prefer Tia from you, just to confuse and befuddle you XD)
@Trip: I'm not comfortable with it, actually. Really not. My emotions conform to society even if I don't want to.
Plus, it's illegal - which is what's REALLY stupid.
(Sorry got distracted, blame star.)
(@Taia call me Jai :)
@Star *nods* That's a good term. Cisgenderless.
@Trip: *cheers* :P
@Tia: Sure XD
Yeah, Star. :/
And I like my clothes. I own them to wear them, not leave them in the cupboard, you know?
And I normally wear coats in summer, so yeah.
Overall, I just don't get toplessness. But people should be allowed to do it dagnabit!
(Toplessness...I don't feel comfortable without a top..)
(Sleep soon..)
(I am back.)
Liliana: I do not entirely understand.
Ember: *she appears in a flash of fire, wearing a long red dress* *her hair is down over one of her shoulders* Lilia-
*she frowns slightly* What are you doing here?
@Jai: Okai. C:
@Trip: That's fair. :)
I wear a coat in summer, too. BUt it's more comfortable in winter, surprisingly enough. :P
Leaving! We're leaving. Yup.
*squeezes Bethany's hand, blushing slightly, wincing at her headache*
Back home please Beth...
@Silente: I really don't.
(yup, I managed to stick anotehr reference in. C:)
@Star: ... What about Chaos Walking? The gender divide there is based or at least vastly emphasised by the obvious silence/noise division.
Would you consider that differently to gender divide based entirely on anatomical difference?
Bethany: Okay... *they vanish in a flash of gold, reappearing at her house*
(Has anyone actually thought women are not allowed to go topless because of benefits to the women themselves?
Regardless - I do not want to see anyone topless. Male or female.)
I didn't like the secondtwo chaos walking books, which were the ones that involved all of that stuff. It was just too dark for me. I couldn't really stomach it.
*hugs Beth tightly, whimpering slightly*
Owie..
*agrees with swimwear discomfort*
*never had a 'lets hang around in swimwear' social push, though, admittedly.*
@Star: *nods* I feel more enclined toward the second argument, I think. But I get where both ways are coming from. *nodS* :)
ANd- *nods* Right. :/
And - *laughs* :P What's the lighteyed/darkeyed reason? ^^
MSD
(Aye Sophia, on the second thing. But I don't think passing laws that say people can't do things others can for their own protection is a bit controlling. But if you do intend to not wear a top, I kind of agree that you've got to expect people will look, which may be part of my problem with it really. :p)
Bethany: *she hugs Silente tightly back* Are you alright?
*inclined
@TRip: Yeah, I get that. :/
@Sophia: *pauses* *nods at Trip's comment, because he put it into words well* :)
MSD
@Taia: When I go on holiday and go to the beach pretty much everyone is in swimwear and my mum socially pushes me to be in swimwear too. :/ I mostly just wear clothes anyway. Thin t-shirts and short shorts. It works. :P
@Sophia: How so?
(genuine question)
(I am so bad at Hearthstone.)
*follows Terri, wat Ching her from a distance*
(Still, surely it's their decision as to whether to risk it.)
*finds it therapeutic, just to stalk with no ulterior motives. Everything is more relaxed*
HELLOOOOOOOO.
Wbd, reading back.
[Reads the debate]
[Starts to say something]
[Doesn't]
((Hi Moss, and Lavender.))
@Star: Oh, fair enough. We don't holiday that much, so... :)
But- I'd wear clothes over swimwear, and nobody socially pushes me out of that ^^
And- *nods* Okay, but say, is whether or not you can bond with a blade that different from a gender division?
Like, they're both (I presume) a biological basis? Could 'My blade makes me better than you' be compared to 'My testosterone makes me better than you', for example?
Idk. I'm not arguing, here, just think it's interesting. :)
Um. Gotta go. *hugs all*
Y'all are perfect n super. :)
Bye! ^^
*hugs Mossy*
Hi Ari and whoever else is on.
*hugs everyone*
(*would like to hear Fabi's opinion*)
(Herrow Lavender.)
*he strolls over to Terri*
Everything all right over here?
Bye Taia!
*hugs*
Dang, missed her by a comment. :(
*still distant though*
*her voice is small, and desperate* No...
