My Christmas tree is up, the Nightmare Before Christmas decorations hang happily beside the boys from South Park, there are presents... Every time you turn on the MTV Christmas channel you're treated to "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah Carey...
Soon it will be time for "Love Actually" to appear on TV. I do love "Love Actually", actually.

Warning: To all those who don't know the TV show Totally Spies, this won't really make sense.
In first grade, my friend and I were reenacting an episode from Totally Spies, and I had to be tied to a fence by the wrists.
So my friend (let's call her N) took a skipping rope, and after me repeatedly telling her "WE HAVE TO STICK TO THE EPISODE" she tied my wrists to the fence.
Turns out, a teacher was watching us and she came running over like "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? CHILDREN, EXPLAIN THIS" and N and I stood there for a few moments as the teacher tugged at the knots. N opened her mouth to speak. I figured she was going to bail me out. And then she said "it was her idea!", pointed at me, and ran away. Leaving me there.
Eventually, the whole thing got sorted out. To this day, I still laugh thinking about it.
In all honesty, I think we managed to reenact every episode of Season One in grade one. I was always Alex, for some reason. N always chose Clover, which I find hilarious, as nowadays she's the polar opposite of her.
You know why I'm annoying you all with childhood stories? N moved to Australia yesterday. She's been my friend since first grade. I always imagined she'd be with me, no matter what, and now she's on a different continent.

When I gave him it he was like "there is something else on there" Then I forgot to cut the crusts off so I went back through and cut them off then he started picking off the cheese and I'm just like, what are you doing that's the cheese...then he's like "I don't want cheese" And I get really angry "You asked for a ham and cheese sandwich!" "I wanted butter and ham" I mean, I know butter and cheese are the same colour but come on! now I'm sitting with a plate of cheese. This is my lunch.)
