(Hello.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Hello Raven. How are you?)

Raven Astracae said...

I'm good. Well, to be honest, I'm scared of the terrorists, because there was a stabbing pretty close to me, so yeah. How are you?

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I am average.
I do not understand why someone would become a terrorist.)

Raven Astracae said...

Just how some people are made.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Perhaps. But you'd think, somewhere in their brain, they'd have thought, "You know what, we're going to kill innocent people. This is wrong". What must be wrong with them if they think it is right?)

Raven Astracae said...

I'm not supporting terrorists or anything, but some people are just born with a brain that functions differently to most. For them it's just average, another day in the life of.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I suppose so.
I wonder why no one airstrikes them. You have satellites, so use them, then send a plane over. You kill them with no risk to your soldiers, and without them causing harm to civilians. Job done.)

Raven Astracae said...

Yesterday the US sent air strikes on Syria.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(That is good. *nods* It is the most logical thing to do.)

Raven Astracae said...

Yeah and they said something a while ago about how in this fight, there will be no boots on the ground. So the US and Australians among others, are only sending out air strikes.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(The moment you actually use soldiers, you are putting lives at risk. Using drones, planes and helicopters is the better choice.)

Raven Astracae said...

Yeah, it's starting to look a lot like war though.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(It is. But war is sometimes necessary.)

Raven Astracae said...

For you maybe, for me, I'd rather it didn't happen you know. I do honestly enjoy living in peace, leaving the house without dying. War, that destroys things. My half-granddad fought in World War II, my view on war is not to do it.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I believe war is wrong, just as I believe killing is wrong - but it is necessary.
Tell me: Which would be the preferable option: Killing a few terrorists and saving the lives of many innocents, or allowing said terrorists to kill many innocents?)

Raven Astracae said...

I better make a mental note to stop losing to your genius and logic...

Yes, in that way, war is necessary.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Logic I can agree with. Genius less so.

And there you go. Every now and then a trigger has to be pulled - to take a life, yes - but to save many more in the process.)

Raven Astracae said...

Rightio then. Kill to save, I get that, I can somewhat agree with that.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(It isn't about right and wrong. It is about choosing the lesser evil.)

Raven Astracae said...

There has to be a point though, where one can see the difference between right and wrong. So that they don't you know, stray to far away from that lesser evil sort of thing.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Yes. There is. *nods* And it is my job to stand on that point. That is where I operate.)

Raven Astracae said...

Well, I do hope you enjoy standing on that point.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I don't, no.)

Raven Astracae said...

Why do a job if you don't enjoy it?

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Someone has to do it. It is necessary.)

Raven Astracae said...

Someone else would do it.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I may be slightly distant.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Exactly. It is not something I would wish upon another person.)

Raven Astracae said...

I am glad that you have adapted to the cold.)

(XD I bet Draggie loves you saying he's bad at the game. Did he get the shadow yet?

As am I. However it looks even colder outside...)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(No. He did not. But who needs the Shadow? Give me a soldier or an adept and I will come first on the leaderboard every single damn time. He prefers infiltrator, but nevertheless, it is not he who is playing.

Dragona's experience so far is that it is rather cold.)

I would like to dedicate this page to the fact that the majority of people on here are hiding.
Hiding behind these identities we've made for ourselves.
I'm not saying its a bad thing. Because it's nice not to be judged on our appearance, on our age. It's nice not to be judged by our names or how good we are at sport.
We get to express ourselves on here, knowing we're all equals. I'm pretty sure that outside the blog, we all know that. It's just a little more obvious here.
So, yes. I dedicate this page to that.

Also to knitting, baked Doritos, and the new season of Doctor Who.

So in the two middle lessons of the day at school, between recess and lunch, I had PE. But in 3rd session (streight after recess) I had a thing for concert band.

When I came back in lesson 4 to PE, my 4 friends were missing and there was an ambulance outside. I got really paniced. Because something had happened to one of my friends and I wasn't there to help and my friends mean everything to me.

And so I was freaking out, though keeping it to myself.

And I finally found out what happened like half an hour later.

Turns out N, who isn't a really close friend but is still a friend, had dislocated her knee and my other friends were there to make sure she was okay.

But I was so paniced when they weren't there because my friends and family are the most important things to me. I'd do anything for them

And when I told my friends this, they laughed a bit. Because I was panicking over nothing.

But I explained to them what I felt like by saying:
Imagine going off to do something and coming back to find the thing you kove most missing.

And I think they only just realized how much they mean to me.

Snow said...

And that applies to you lot too. You all mean the world to me

Raven Astracae said...

(You know when you see people on TV shows and they talk about how they drop their phones in the toilet and you sit there all, "Ha! What an idiot!"
Yeah...I'm that idiot.

My phone currently sits in a bag of rice, turned off and I'm waiting, waiting the full 36 hours before pulling it out and checking it. Please, Golden God, use your brilliant powers to save my phone, I need my phone, because if it dies, I die too. Not because I need my phone because I want to use it so I can text my friends and stay up all night, but because if it dies, my parents will kill me. I am dead meat Golden God, you hear that, dead meat. Also, my phone has all my music on it and I don't want to have to stick my earphones into an iPad on the bus.

Look Golden God, yes, I called you a sadistic bastard, but please...help me, help my phone.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Hello, Raven. How are you?)

Raven Astracae said...

(Distraught, thank you very much for asking. How are you?)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I presume due to your phone dropping in the toilet?

I am average - extremely bored, however. Dragona is waiting for the bus.)

Raven Astracae said...

(Yes, my phone incident has not only hurt me in the sense that my phone is probably going to die. But also in the sense that my pride and dignity have been brutally hit with a sledgehammer.

Ah, the bus, Dragona can always play the finger game. So what if it's a little morbid and deranged and weird, it fills time and improves memory.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Think of it this way - at least you didn't flush it.

Yes, however, he is not bored. I am.)

Raven Astracae said...

(What a positive look on the situation you have there. However, I am choosing to wallow in my own little world of pain because of my music loss.

Why don't you play the finger game?)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Music can be redownloaded with little effort.
I do not have a positive look on the situation - I am simply encouraging you to be positive. It could have been a lot worse.

I may try.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Focus not on your mistakes, but on what you can do to fix them.)

Raven Astracae said...

(It's not the fact that it's gone. It's all sitting there, tens of thousands of songs, sitting right on the computer. It's that fact that I have nothing portable to play that music on now, it's not socially acceptable to walk around with massive boom boxes any more. Music is a really big part of me, and it depresses me that I can't take it with me to the orthodontist tomorrow, and maybe even longer.
Okay then, WEEW, my phone dropped in the toilet, but it's totally okay because there's a small chance it will be fine and I did my best to save it and you know what they say, it's the thought that counts.

If you don't like the idea of the finger game, play the food game, it's the same basic idea. You come up with a different sort of food for every finger, eg. Left Hand Middle Finger is Slow roasted pork belly and then you come up with a place to eat it in, eg. Blogland. And you do that for all the fingers and then go back and remember them all. The if you want to make it harder, come up with side dishes or full blown addresses etc.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I believe you can buy MP3 players for very little money, and they are widely available.

That sounds somewhat interesting... Perhaps I could play the gun game instead. One finger per weapon and one place to shoot someone. Despite it sounding violent, I believe it may interest me more.)

Raven Astracae said...

(I choose to be stubborn and not resolve my problems, even though I just found my iPod and a nano. Thank you for you help.

Yeah, whatever works for you, presuming you know enough different types of guns it should work great. I have no donuts that you know more than 10 different guns. You could suit the game to whatever your tastes were, for music lovers, a song, or chord to play and where to play it, for intense shippers, a ship and the place it all began etc.)

Garret Falcone said...

*dolphin dives through window* (hello everybody how r u all?)

Raven Astracae said...

(Distraught, thanks for asking. How are you?)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(You are welcome. I am stubborn also, however, I believe it would be unwise to allow it to stand in the way of sense.

Yes, I know more than ten types of gun - hell, I can name more than ten pistols alone from my time. I could make one huge list.
I enjoy listening to music somewhat, even though Dragona despises my taste in such. I would not classify myself as a music lover, however.
And relationships aren't my thing. The one - and only one - I've ever had ended with me shooting my boyfriend in the head as he betrayed me for a terrorist organisation and was going to kill a few million people.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Raven managed to drop her mobile phone in the toilet. It is partly unfortunate and partly amusing.)

Garret Falcone said...

(soph that's good and alright boyoh (<Blake) )

Raven Astracae said...

(Well that's an accomplishment I suppose, good job.

My relationships aren't too good either, I had on when I was in Prep and Year 1 but then we left the school and then this year I was all like 'Why the hell not' and that ended in cryptically worded emails and a final conversation of:
Me: Hey sorry for everything, it's okay if you never want to speak to me again.
The only cute boy, in my opinion, in the whole school : *nods and walks away*

In some ways I detest couple love, but then in some forms I'm like nawwww so sweet. Any romance between kids under the age of 16 is stupid in my opinion, this was after the incident with the boy so that sort of changed my opinions on the world of relationships.)

Raven Astracae said...

(Hello Blake, I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to both you and Chi and Loki and Rose in relation to the the Deathlake thing, she said something earlier about crying and I don't know if she was serious but I was all, I'm sorry. And I still think that it's a beautiful ship, but I'll stick to shipping it in I.T on a Wednesday, again sorry.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(My respect for those who are in/enjoy relationships has not changed - I would simply not want to participate in one myself. Unless I am being punched, physical contact somewhat repulses me.)

Raven Astracae said...

(In fear of reading another comment that shatters my heart into three thousand pieces, I'm going to rephrase.

I'm refraining from letting the tiny, tiny, tiny, inner-fangirl in me from commenting on the Deathlake scenario in fear of shutting down the blog with fangirl cries. I can't stress how tiny this fangirl is, I don't fangirl but for this ship, I would short circuit half the world's internet systems to ship it. I would however only ship it, if something was to happen that stopped the relationship between Blake and Chi and Rose and Loki. Which won't happen because each couple in deeply in love and I wish all the best for your relationships. )

John said...

(Yeah okay no more of that Blione is the only ship I will ever support in any context)

John said...

(It appears I must be off now, farewell fellow mental cases!

*Snaps on a pair of aviator goggles and flies off into the great unknown*)

Raven Astracae said...

(Farewell Blake.

Why is it that every time I type Blake, autocorrect changes it to Balke? I mean that's not even a word.)

Garret Falcone said...

(just a bit but then accidents happen its just part of life and its twists, anyway to lighten the mood i have a quote to say: after Tuesday even the calendar goes w t f and, you do make people happy (even Sophia i think) *this is all for raven*)

Garret Falcone said...

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Unfortunately, I am not a happy person.)

Raven Astracae said...

(That's a nice quote. I'd like to use it sometimes if that's ok with you. That makes me feel really good. When anyone actually says something nice, even to someone else, it just makes me all, 'today's going to be a good day.' And you're right, 'scuse the language but $#¡T happens, and you just got to deal with it. When life gives you lemons, make orange juice.)

Raven Astracae said...

(Yeah well Sophia, I'll live with keeping you average for the rest of your life.)

Garret Falcone said...

(I'm fine with it (i found it on google) don't worry bout the language. wow i feel good for making someone feel good, and exactly (although it would be difficult making orange juice from lemons)

Raven Astracae said...

(I didn't say make orange juice from lemons, I said when life gives you lemons make orange juice. You drop the lemons, send a big middle finger to life, stuff what life gives you and find someone who has enough oranges to go around. That's what friends are for, oranges, friends are oranges.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Average is... Fine by me.)

Raven Astracae said...

(Exactly, so that's pretty much as close as I'm ever going to get to Commander's average so you know, keep her average. It's better than making you less than average.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Yes. That is a good point.)

You never go for a peaceful solution. Someone either ends up taken against their will or shot at, and every last one of us is sick of it. So put it down, walk away, and I'll consider not returning the favor for all the times you've hurt someone under the guise of "justice".

Believe it or not, Blake, but I don't actually enjoy shooting people. I try to do it as little as possible.
Taken against their will? Isn't that exactly what prison is? But you don't seem to be standing in the way of prisons now, do you?
Honestly? You're actually attempting to stop a fight? Why, because you weren't involved? If you don't believe what I'm doing is right, then what would your 'returning the favour' be? Would that not give someone else the excuse to do the same to you?

You've done a terrible job, and prisons use due process of law. They actually prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the offender is guilty before carting them off. You on the other hand seem to believe that your word alone, which nobody here trusts, is enough to merit a death penalty. So I'll say it again, get lost.
