for Silas, and all the news to come. Just click the link ENTER THE DARKNESS from the main Theatre of Shadows page. We've built this specifically to include all the
American, Swedish and Norwegian Minions — who until this point have been unable
to register — in order to have a truly global experience. There'll be
heaps more to come, and for anybody not based in USA Sweden or Norway, don't
forget to register for the online Theatre of Shadows Mystery here.

Theatre of Shadows is an immersive fan event like no other…
on Saturday 27th September, those lucky enough
to secure a ticket will be taken on an adventure inside the
world of the books. I'll be there, along with the incredible LARP (Live Action
Role Playing) specialists who have helped produce this madness. There'll
be role-playing, problem solving and an amazing quest to tackle. The
event is tailor-made by yours truly and I'll be writing a brand new short story, inspired and informed
by YOUR participation, on the day! Which means the brave actions of ALL the
Operatives – Live and Remote - stand a chance of entering officially into the
Skulduggery history books.
Once you've registered and are heading into battle: remember to
leave a REFLECTION behind to keep friends and relatives quiet. Our shiny new Reflections Hall of Fame app is now live on Facebook. I want to see your preppiest, most saccharine
outfits and expressions people! Remember — you Reflections are the goody-goody
two-shoes version of you, so smile, be happy, and be the "perfect"
version of you that you can be! If you'd like to share these as your profile

I'm really, really ashamed of how I acted earlier today. I was skyping with Zaf and Vinette when my sister came in and found out. Then she said that she wouldn't tell, but mum had a feeling I was skyping people I don't know in person (which is true) and said that she would take away everything I hold dear if I don't stop it. But, of course, I kept listening to Americans and their loopy accents.
Then they turned off the wifi because the state of my room wasn't up to their standards. And they refused to let me have a shower until it was done (by the way, I stank. And it was gross). And so I got yelled at for trying to get clean when my room was dirty. Which is stupid.
And then I cleaned my room and had a shower and then it turns out that my sister was having her 18th party and it was formal.
And I wasn't allowed to borrow her heels because I, the misfit, don't have a pair of high heels, nor do I have anything other than one very fancy dress. So I only have one dress. And it's too fancy to wear anywhere, so I had to wear it today. And the bust bit is way too big, because I'm pretty flat chested, but I'd rather not go into detail on that.
So my sister wouldn't let me borrow a pair of her shoes, and then I started to cry and no one was around so it was fine and they turned the wifi off because I needed to get ready.
But no, after a tiny bit of wine, a lot of sugar and some fresh night air, I've come to apologise.
And I honestly don't expect you to accept it, but just knowing that I have told you all that I'm sorry for being a horrible little shit earlier, I think it might make me feel a little better...

I was going to write out a speech on how much TDOTL killed me, but I'll save it for a few months from now.
I finished the last book on Wednesday, I still do not find it to be over. I mean, I jumped in late, I came on January of 2012 when KOTW and TEOTW were coming out, Vinette practically forced me to read Sceptre of the Ancients. So yeah, I survived that bit. It's been...an amazing jounrey. I still laugh whenever I think back to some of the times I rememer, OTOA (Operation Take Over America) where Kessie and a bunch of us petitioned for me to be Grand Mage of America, and I can remember I used to sit up in a dynamite tree when we'd get a new post, and we'd all be calling Derek on and he sometimes would tease us so badly, and say he'll comment only a single comment.
I can remember Derek asking me what part I had in Miracle on 34th Street and that is it the lead god knows I'm dramatic enough. *dies* I also remember Em's damn Necromancer greeting whenever I'd explode Ireland. I also can plain as day remember when NJ skyped me at the TMS signing and Derek said now that we've actually met we can be friends! I just...wow thinking back, to all these memories I made in two years....
I never will regret picking up that book, and I always feel this tiny bit of proudness when I read my name in one of the books...I just think: You know, I am proud of myself for asking back in December. I never thought I'd ask, I thought I'd be told no....
Just makes me laugh, thinking of everything I went through...
