Hello,
I have returned from the torture that we call camp and bush and hiking with 15kilogram packs. I swear everything is bruised, cut or blistered. What a great week I had. Well, enough complaining I'm home now, in a world with flushing toilets, showers and beds.
How are we all?
(Out of all the films I have sat through, Die Hard, so far, is my favourite.)

It's really not fun, I like the old camps, the ones where you jump on a giant swing and do the flying fox and you are not hiking everyday.
I feel you Rose, mine wasn't as bad, but then again, year 9 options sound just like that.

Ok then, my average consists of feeling pain everywhere and barely being able to move, but being thankful for all the luxuries I have.

(We never had camps like that. We had one where we dressed up at Soverign Hill, one in Canberra, two by the ocean, one in Melbourne and the hiking camp this year.)

That's the thing, I feel pain but then again feel nothing and I'm happy, I'm sitting here killing myself with laughter, that hurts my throat but I laugh anyway. I don't think anything is the matter, I just need to recover from camp.

No, I don't know Meg's and Kelly, I probably didn't do the same walk as you since I'm only 13 and a law probably says they can't kill us this young. I went with Ingrid and Sam, except Sam was bitten by a snake so she was replaced by Carisa, who had back pains so she couldn't do the bike ride so was temporarily replaced by Tim and then Hilary helped with the bike ride too.
It sounds like a great place to do work experience.
(Raven - it is common to feel side effects from extended periods of exercise.
Tia - I find it somewhat interesting to think, "What would I do in that situation?")
Thank you for that knowledge Sophia, I didn't at all know that it was all down to intensive exercise. Sorry, let me rephrase. Although I already knew it was mostly down to exercise and that what I was feeling was common. It was very nice of you to back up my previous thoughts with logic and stuff.

Might I add, Hello Tia, I think it worked out to be about 26km in total over the 5 days, we didn't hike everyday though, we spent one and a half days doing survival training things at base camp.

Yeah Tia, next year, on year 9 options, I'm pretty sure you have to choose one hike/camp one, but they do rock climbing and stuff on those ones onwards. They get tougher as the years go up, right up to year 12 when you can choose to spend like 1 month in the bush.
