I dedicate this page to complications in life. My life has been complicated as fuck since I was a kid. My oldest sister was diagnosed with BIH when I was nine. She was in and out of hospital for a year, getting holes drilled into her skull and sitting in dark rooms. She couldn’t stand the light. She was like a second mother to me when my mum was gone. Jacquie took care of me when there was no one else. But when she was diagnosed, I had to step up for myself. I had to become stronger and more resilient, able to take whatever life threw at me. Because Jacquie had a very high chance of dying. And then a few years later, my little brother had epilepsy. He would have fits on the floor, jaw chattering, his lips blue. He didn’t remember any of it. It scared me. It was something that threw my life into another giant bloody mess. But he’s better now. Then my older brother had a cyst in his skull. It was pressing against his brain and he forgot about us, only for a short time, though. But it was traumatising. A family member who you cared about so much didn’t know that you existed. I had to jump over that hurdle, not fall to my knees and sob at the impossibility of doing something when my life was crashing down around me. He had to get a massive hole in his head too. Then a few months after his operation, he was bashed walking to his school. Another fucking hurdle when I felt like I was going to die. But all of these complications made me the person I am today. The depression I had for a year or two taught me how to be strong. It taught me that no matter how far away you are from the light when you’re digging further down than rock bottom, there is always a way back up. There are always people willing to help. You can survive. I was certain that there was no way back up for me. I was certain that I would be rotting somewhere six-feet underground today. I only needed to borrow someone’s strength, let them help me, let them pull me back up. Of course I slipped a few times and was sent hurtling back to rock bottom, but that only made me want the light even more. I wanted… I needed happiness. I had my first taste of it and then I craved it. I wasn’t going to give up until I bathed in it. Despite everything, those damn complications in life are what make you who you are. They are the true beauty in life. They shape you. They make your life yours.

But I do know that your dedication was powerfully written, and that gives me an inclination, at least. But one things that strikes me is the fact that you chose to realize that. Because to be able to put something into words which make absolute sense like that takes understanding (as well as writing capability, yo), and... idk where this sentence was going to go. But maybe it's what you choose to take out of something, and what you choose to do with something; and what you took is an important message and you chose to write it and explain it and share it and do good with it, and I do don't think I'm putting this into words right, but that's an amazing thing. ^^

But I do know that your dedication was powerfully written, and that gives me an inclination, at least.
But one things that strikes me is the fact that you chose to realize that. Because to be able to put something into words which make absolute sense like that takes understanding (as well as writing capability, yo), and... idk where this sentence was going to go. But maybe it's what you choose to take out of something, and what you choose to do with something; and what you took is an important message and you chose to write it and explain it and share it and do good with it, and I do don't think I'm putting this into words right, but that's an amazing thing. ^^
