The Requiem Ball.
This is an invitation only get-together — a party, if you will — with 120 places up for grabs in very special competitions for Ireland and UK readers. You'll get the details of these competitions and other ways to nab yourself an invitation over the next few weeks, so keep an eye on this blog.
But you know I'd never leave the rest of you out of the action COMPLETELY, so we're going to have 250 party packs, jammed full of goodies, ready to send to you so that you can throw your own simultaneous Requiem Ball Parties at home. There'll be loads of stuff to download, whichever far-off country you're in, be it Ame-rica (am I pronouncing that right?) or Burkina Faso (yes, we notice EVERYTHING).
The Requiem Ball is basically my thank you to all of my Minions, for creating such a fun, creative, and frankly down-right crazy community around these books. I want to bring everyone together for one almighty celebration for the final book, and it's going to be EPIC.

It isn't true that you have to die. In fact, I'm appalled that you would jump to such a conclusion. I've already thought of two alternatives, and I'm sure more will come.

As a mother, you now have to be ready to give up your life for your child's happiness, so just drop the whole dilemma about dying. It was borne of your own mind, and it will fade there too. Rose, I suggest that we remove your ability to heal, and set up blocks in your head that will keep Loki out of there. We will get you to a safe house, and someone will be with you at all times, in case Loki manages to find you.
Furthermore, if I understand correctly, there's already a plan to take him down. If that could be sped up, and people can thwart him forever, that would be preferable.

(On June 21st I wrote out a plot where I took control over all the leaders of the mortal world. Before that I wrote a plot where I threatened them and told them they had until June 21st. I now have every leader of the mortal world under my influence. They have zombie caterpillars in their brains! If the zombie caterpillars leave, they die.
