In Case You Missed It...

Hello Minions.

In case you missed it on my Twitter page, @DerekLandy, I shall repeat what I have twittered-tweeted-whatever, here...

Are you ready for the Year of the Requiem to kick into high gear?

End of the week, the mystery deepens.

You think you might know the identity of Prisoner 270914, but do you have any idea of the danger you, yes YOU, are in? And how much YOU will be needed to stop him?

This Friday, will you take one step closer to finding out?

But tomorrow... TOMORROW we have something you've been waiting for. You've been waiting a LONG time for this. Since the series began... since you started your journey...

Tomorrow, at 4PM on my blog, I will reveal the cover to The Dying of the Light.

Shit.
OK.
If being away will be better for you, do that. Take care of yourself, Adra.

But if that ever changes, or if you find that maybe that's not the case, we'll be here. Yeah?

All the best. ^^

(Hello Star, how are you?)

(Hello Taia, how are you?)

Star Inkbright said...

@Zaf: Um . . . what was that the other day about Adra being a coward and a retard? :P

Okay, Candle. :) I hope you're okay. If you ever need me, you can email me. :)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Welcome back Sophia)

Zanida Laufeydottir Queen of Asgard (Zafira Kerias) said...

Star- I'm not allowed to say anything due to....well stuff. Put it this way, I experienced uh a few hours of possibly being 1 of 2 living siblings. Not wanting to put anyone else through that! So.....yeah.-Zaf

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Thank you, Edward.

Zafira - and you deemed it necessary to take it out on another person?)

Star Inkbright said...

@Zaf: :) Okay. I get that. :/ *hugs*

Mary Contrary said...

@Sophia: .... I think you misundestood what ZAf meant, there? ^^

Inky Flame said...

(okay Ed)

Emerald Melody said...

Whether we worry or not Zaf, she needs to do this. For herself.
We can't push up on her or else she'll assume we want to take control of her situation.
But she needs to do this, she needs to know that she has the ability to take back her control herself.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Please, stop.

Just stop having a go at someone else.

It's not pleasant.

Zanida Laufeydottir Queen of Asgard (Zafira Kerias) said...

Sophia, the events happened AFTER what I said, 24+ hours later, so no. I suggest getting facts straight before accusing. -Zaf

Star Inkbright said...

@Sophia: I interpreted it as her realising what it's like to have someone you care about almost die and then change her mind about wanting to put us through that.

Zanida Laufeydottir Queen of Asgard (Zafira Kerias) said...

When, I can say....I will. For now, I can't.

*sighs*

-Zaf

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I see.

Apologies, Zafira. It appears it is rather automatic for me to assume the worst about people. I am somewhat pessimistic.)

Dragona Pine said...

(By "somewhat pessimistic" she means, "a poor outlook on everything". :P)

Zanida Laufeydottir Queen of Asgard (Zafira Kerias) said...

Good. Now, I am glad that's cleared up.-Zaf

Edward Fletcher said...

(Thanks Sophia)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Thank ye Chloe)

Dragona Pine said...

(Hey Edward! I'm fine, thanks. ^^ You?)

Edward Fletcher said...

(I be good thanks Dragona)

Mary Contrary said...

Hey, Ed - sorry, missed your comment. I'm OK, thanks. ^^

@Em: ... Thank you for being here. Thank you.

Inky Flame said...

(dim problem ^^)

Star Inkbright said...

@Sophia : *nods* :/

Inky Flame said...

(I am doing biology homework that I don't get, so I could be better, you Dragon?)

Dragona Pine said...

(I'm fine, thanks. :) )

Inky Flame said...

(good ^^

I hate bloody enzymes! I have to relate their function and properties to their structure but I hardly have any notes on their structure, grrr!)

Emerald Melody said...

*looks around suspiciously.*

I'm... I'm being thanked??

Explain??

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Average, I think.

So, whatcha doing, Dragona?

Dragona Pine said...

(I don't do Biology... Medieval History is my favourite subject. :P Geology in second. :) )

Dragona Pine said...

(... Listening to Sophia's choice in music. Which is rather irritating me. God damn it. :P)

Inky Flame said...

(cool ^^ my favourites are English lit and psychology)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I have had the "luxury" of being present in Dragona's Medieval History and Geology classes and they're both a load of shit.)

Inky Flame said...

(*giggles* that's something you would say Soph, so what do you enjoy?)

Dragona Pine said...

(I would have chosen English but mehhhhh too little creative writing for my taste.)

Inky Flame said...

(It is, I wrote a short story about a fighting arena but I think that is as far as itll go. im onto poetry now)

Garret Falcone said...

(*starts arranging matches* I've actually done this before in Rl and it was quite fun)

Inky Flame said...

(*laughs* I have never arranged matches before)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Physics. Out of all the 'school subjects', physics was my favourite.)

Mary Contrary said...

@Em: Thank you for being here.
Thank you for being calm, and considerate, and sensible, and respectful.
Thank you for explaining things in this manner, and for being understanding.
Thank you for being here, and taking care, and just, thank you for being you. :)

Mary Contrary said...

PHYSICS! YEAH!

Inky Flame said...

(ick, physics is the worst)

Emerald Melody said...

Thank you for that Taia but I just know what she's going through.
And people need to just realise that you can't snap out of depression and need to give Adra or anyone else the space to be able to try and take back control.

It's a power struggle and wills and strengths can be broken. Mine included.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Physics is good. Especially in 2178.)

Mary Contrary said...

( :P )

@CHloe: ... I thought you took physics at college to begin with? :P

sorry, btw.
I'm trying to find a particular circuit diagram on the past papers, because the one in my notes, I'm pretty sure isn't right, but idk how I'd draw it correctly because voltmeters are goddamn choosy.

Inky Flame said...

(well I dropped it and im glad^^
the lecturer was an arrogant twit and ugh...I just hated it)

Dragona Pine said...

(YES BUT MEDIEVAL HISTORY. :(

THE ONLY LESSON WHERE YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT PEOPLE BEING DECAPITATED AND STUFF AND IT BEING PERFECTLY NORMAL.

We were once doing an exercise with some extracts from a book.

One started talking about Henry II and then went off on a complete tangent with, "And whores waited expectantly around the gatehouses, and fornication was the norm."
...
It was rather unexpected.)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Please tell me, Dragona. How historically accurate was the video you watched with the Blacksmith wearing a pink dress? As a percentage?)

Inky Flame said...

(I would've taken history but I didn't have enough space)

John said...

(.....................

Well that's a strange topic to arrive to.)

Mary Contrary said...

@Em: *nods*
*nods again*
But, I mean, thank you for explaining that. Like, for helping us to understand that?
I'm glad you've been to do that, and that you chose to do so in the way that you did. ^^

Dragona Pine said...

(MAYBE ABOUT FOUR PERCENT BUT IT WAS STILL PRETTY FUNNY.

Join us, Chloe! Join usssss!

There's like a huge war between the Medieval Historians and the Modern Historians over which is better.

Like Geology vs Geography.

SO MUCH DEBATING.)

Garret Falcone said...

(*makes a dog* you should consider trying it sometime Chloe,it is rather relaxing (I've only done it once) )

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Indeed, Blake.)

Inky Flame said...

(okay Rhos ^^
and it is too late to change options now anyways)

Inky Flame said...

(hey Blake, how art thou?)

Mary Contrary said...

* been here to
-

XD

I liked medieval history, but we only did it year 7. :(
I didn't really like the rest of history much.

Probably would've taken English, if I'd had space, myself, though. :) ^^

John said...

(Confused. Why are Dragona and Sophia talking about blacksmiths in tu-tus?)

Mary Contrary said...

@Chloe: Having bad teachers sucks. :/
I can't imagine I'd have taken physics with a teacher different to mine.
I'm glad you're glad you dropped it. :)

Hi, BLake!:)

@Dragona: *laughs* :P

Mary Contrary said...

@Blake: ...Because Medieval History? :P

John said...

That.... doesn't strike me as very historically accurate.

Dragona Pine said...

(Medieval History is so funny.

Like Henry II Count of Champagne.
Who was the King of Jerusalem.
He died.
He fell from a first-floor window at his palace.
HOWEVER, the fall didn't kill him.
There are accounts which suggest his servant, a male dwarf named Scarlet, fell on top of him.
He was crushed by a falling dwarf.
And that's what killed him.)

Mary Contrary said...

@Blake: I think that's Sophia's point, see. :)

Inky Flame said...

(That's hilarious XD)

Mary Contrary said...

@Dragona: xD
... HOW, though? o0

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(*cold* *freezing* *shivering and goosebumps*)

Dragona Pine said...

(I think the balcony may have collapsed or something. Idk. :P

Oh and Frederick Barbarossa. His entire reason for going on a Crusade was to do something meaningful before he died.
He drowned in a river.)

Inky Flame said...

(*huggles Sil* how art thou, silly?)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(Hello, Silente. *hugs her*)

Garret Falcone said...

(Hey there Blake)
(that's a new one on me, being killed by a dwarf)

Inky Flame said...

(that sounds like a stupid death from horrible histories)

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

Mary Contrary said...

*hugs Silente and hands her a blankeT*

@Dragona: xD

@Chloe: it does XD

Inky Flame said...

(aww Sil, my email is open. do you want to talk about it?)

Mary Contrary said...

Oh, Sil.. :/

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(Its okay..I won't do anything stupid...I'm not that stupid...not tonight anyway. Other nights I'm that stupid but not tonight...my friend ran half a mile for me..)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Sil, email...

Inky Flame said...

(Sil *huggles* don't you dare do something stupid, I am here to listen)

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(*huggles back* no stupid. I can manage that..well, until I sleep.)

Inky Flame said...

(Aww Sil *offers brownies* remember that my email is open, im no good at cheering people up, but I am one hell of a good listener)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Back, and medieval history is best)

Mary Contrary said...

("voltmeter and ammeter positioned correctly with power supply (1)"
YES BUT
WHA T IS CORRECTLY
HOW IS THAT, PLEASE? D: )

*hugs Silente* Good.
EAch day as it comes, I suppose.

Inky Flame said...

(I. hate. enzymes.)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Why Chloe?)

Inky Flame said...

(because I have to answer this ten mark question, relating their function and properties to their structures. I have notes on the properties and their function, but hardly anything on structure...I hate this!)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Ah, have you tried google?)

Inky Flame said...

(yep -_- I have come up with like one point, I can think of another but I don't know if it is correct.)

Edward Fletcher said...

(What is your other point?)

Mary Contrary said...

@Chloe: Agh, I think my friend was doing something along those lines the other week.
Unfortunately, that's my friend, not me, so I can't help you. SOrry. :/

Inky Flame said...

(don't worry Taia ^^
my other point is that enzymes have a tertiary structure, so they are stabilised by different bonds. enzymes are temperature sensitive because a change in temp can break these bonds and change their shape, denaturing them)_

Edward Fletcher said...

(I think that is correct, we did some work on enzymes in our last biology module)

Inky Flame said...

(okay Thanks ^^
im so going to beat my lecturers ass in circuits next week for giving me this damn question)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Well, good luck. May he never give homework again.

And on that note, I must depart, bye)

Mary Contrary said...

(... Hell. I'm just going to not put in a voltmeter, like everybody else
And then I'll get those repeat questions wrong
Like everybody else
And then I'll get the correct answers
Like everybody else.
OR I will not do that and feel confused and uncomfortable
But that won't kill me either.)

@Chloe: From what I DO know, that sounds correct, to me. :)

*not talking to anybody in particular*
*it just helps to run these options though in words*
*and I'm here, so they just get typed and posted, because I don't filter them back out*

@Trip: That's a fair opinion. :)

So overall, roughly balanced out.)

Inky Flame said...

(ah *huggles Trip*)

Mary Contrary said...

Np, Chloe. I hope it goes alright. :) ^^

Bye, Ed!

@Trip: I will bear that in mind. :P

@Chloe: Yeah. ^^
THis is for a test last period tomorrow, though.
So I can go at lunch, but he told us about the test, like, mid-October, since it was originally going to be a few weeks earlier.
I could say I just didn't NOTICE it, until now? Which is technically true. :P

Garret Falcone said...

Hey trip,
you play warhammer? Which system do you play?
(I'm going to give a nerd warning now to everyone)

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

I'm primarily a 40K player, and I prefer 5th edition. However one or two things were missing from that, and I can't say I absolutely hated everything in 6th, so at my club we use a system we call Domestic Butterknife, which is something of a 5.5.

I'm trying to break into Fantasy with a completely Night Goblin army, but it's just too expensive, you know?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Chloe...

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

(Take solace in the fact that you can at least hug him when he's feeling down. I don't want to do that thing where people try and one up each other on how bad their situation is, just something that might help.)

Hey Tia.

(Originally, that was phrased differently.
BUt then I got all pedantic,
And started ranting about the phrase 'All things considered', because how can you consider everything, when there's an infinite number of things?
And it just got messy and irrelevant, and all I wanted to say was that, vectorially, I'm OK. :) )

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

(I'm an Eldar player, really. In 5th edition I was just so attracted to their aesthetic and ridiculous psychic powers. And I think that their translation into the newer rules has made me live them more, really. Even if I dislike some of the newer fluff in places, and wraith knights which are just an affront to everything the Eldar stand for, I can't really fault the rules. You?)

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

(It's why I hate it so much. The wraithlord was an affordable and balanced way to make an Eldar army tough, without going overboard on the explosions. See, a wraithlord looke so threatening and big compared to everything around it, all non-veterans would empty everything at it and due to how tough it was it could probably survive. Meanwhile, the rest of the squishy army would advance without getting shredded. But the wraith knight is unnecessarily big and shoots. It just disrespects the whole ideology of an Eldar army, because basically the only thing you can do with it is hold ground or advance while killing everything in it's path. There's no thought involved! Eldar have always been about precision, but the wraith knight is just an ungainly brute. I really hate it.)

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

(That's the great thing about wraithlords, they die slowly. They just soak up damage like nobody's business. Personally, I think centurions were kind of unnecessary, what with dreadnoughts and all.)

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Hello Tea.

Also, I feel less good now. I found out about Zafira's little display.

Rosalind Turner said...

Aye, I've never been what one might consider "regular."

I am rather more enthusiastic than normal, though none of the recent events to befall me justify that in any way. How are you?

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Oh good. It's always nice to have a little boost.

Rosalind Turner said...

I'm awfully sorry to hear that, Trip, though I know not the "display" of which you speak.

John said...

I never was a fan of tea. The drink, of course. Spiders, on the other hand, I have no emotions towards either way. This is no way to judge a person whose name simply happens to be a combination of two objects I hold mixed feelings towards, but this seems as good an entrance as any. Hello.

Garret Falcone said...

I'm really happy for many reasons,
2 reasons why: on Saturday I'm meeting up with a friend from blogland and the ship Garky sails soon (Garrett (me) and Inky flame's author ship)

John said...

Hello, Garrett. I'm glad to see you're feeling happy.

John said...

People get mad all the time Ellie, don't over think it.

Rosalind Turner said...

Contrariwise, I'm not particularly fond of tea or spiders, though I tolerate both of them. I just wanted to change my name from that of my character, and this is what came out. I had, however, recently had a dream involving the 23rd Annual Arachnids Tea Party shortly before I took the name. Or was it shortly after...? I really can't recall.

Sooner or later, I imagine I'll have to select an alias and stick to it.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Oh no Inky, I'm not angry at you, don't worry. There's only one person here I could be justifiably angry about.

Hello Blake. I trust you are well?

Rosalind Turner said...

I'm sorry to hear that, Elleni. I do hope things are sorted out soon.

Garret Falcone said...

Hello Blake how be you?)
(my earlier comment about how i was feeling was for tea spider)

John said...

I am not entirely certain the Arachnids Tea Party is an actual event, but I suppose I will take your word on it. As for your dilemma Ellie, I am sorry. I wish there was something I could do to help.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Sorry, that was a silly misinterpretation. And if this person is Adra or Zaf, then you don't.

John said...

"Well" is an interesting word. Alright I'm tired of talking all proper, sounds great and sophisticated and stuff but blagh it takes longer and doesn't sound like me. I'm fine, Trip.

Rosalind Turner said...

Please forgive my bluntness, but you don't seem to be an arachnid. Therefore, if such a party would take place, you would likely not be invited.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Excellent. And I'm glad to see you're being yourself.

John said...

*Shadows form into eight long spindly legs protruding from his back, which lift him off the ground*
