you know, I said to myself and a friend of mine last week that life is short and you should be happy so I would try to stay happy all the time. I didn't even last a week... I'm never truly happy...I'm such an idiot...

Don't fret over it, really. Happiness is worth naught without sorrow, and someone who is always happy learns a lot less from their life, because they never really have to overcome any challenges.
I would say, do not try to fight off your negative emotions, but study them, and find their bright side. It's all I can really proffer, but it certainly works for me.

Well actually Chione, having Greek is a great way to set yourself apart from your competitors in more academically demanding jobs. It's a way to demonstrate that you can grasp difficult concepts well.
