Well, actually- *has maybe enough magic to light a candle if I tried really, really, really hard* I mean, my strength from day one was hand to hand combat- which I love for many reasons, the first of which is that my character is just an alternate universe version of me, so excluding magic, I can do everything she can do- and I still have that. But, yeah.
Niccolo/Alastair and that mess of names is pretty overpowered, but they also get exhausted pretty easily, and are highly mentally unstable- they're just good at hiding it when they think they need to. Like, the other day, when Alastair went looking for Silente- searching through all those dimensions is hard. And exhausting. Then he asked her to attack him, because he was just desperate to feel some pain, but when he immersed himself in the grass afterwards, it was because he didn't have the energy to heal himself, and it requires a lot less energy to be grass than it does to be human. If he hadn't done that, he would have just bled to death. Also, you know, if someone just as simple as shot him in the head, he'd die, because brains are hard enough to heal when your own is intact. But the trick with that would be catching him off guard, which usually isn't easy. ANYWAY-
While it's true a lot of us here are overpowered, not all of us are, and what you are capable of doing really ends up mattering less than what you actually do with yourself. Someone with no magic can be just as impactful as the most powerful mage in the world, if they play it right.

I just had a very weird story idea.
What if there was a dimension where all the characters from Skulduggery Pleasant lived? And then a Shunter found this dimension in which they're fictional characters. Then they found out Derek was responsible for all their loss and tragedy, and so wanted to kill him?
And because SP characters lived in that dimension, characters from rp from the Blog did too. So then Derek enlisted the help of them and yeah.

(I was playing Mass Effect 3's multiplayer earlier and I have a character who is called the Vorcha Soldier.
And, like all Vorcha, he has the same two abilities.
His first is Bloodlust. It basically means, as long as you keep killing people - you get movement speed increases, melee damage increases, NORMAL damage increases, and most importantly, with the way I've upgraded it - his health will regenerate faster than any enemy can deal to him. So by the time he actually TAKES damage it's already healed. Effectively making him indestructible if he kills one person every 15 seconds or so. Bloodlust also has unlimited duration (besides the 15 seconds) so you can activate it at the start of a match and then that's it. As long as you still kill people every 15 seconds you'll still get the increases.
Which you'll probably think is quite hard. Nope. His second ability is Flamer, which is a high-energy flamethrower which fires from his wrist. It is naturally effective against armour, and because I have the upgrade to make it more effective against shields and barriers, he can almost instantly strip any protection an enemy may have and burn them alive. So killing one person every fifteen seconds is easy. In fact, you can kill lots of people in that time.)
He has a third ability too, but I decided he didn't need it and instead put points into power damage to make the Flamer even MORE powerful. :D)

(Easy. Get a few big enemies in one area and you won't be able to kill them in fifteen seconds. Therefore you'll lose your abilities and most likely go down.
OR, for example, if you've got a terrible team. I was fighting against the Geth earlier with some Americans and, despite the fact they had like the best characters, they kept going down.
On wave ten, they all went down. And it was in the middle of a wave where you have to do a certain mission. So I had to go and activate some devices. But I couldn't do that because I had no one to cover me whilst I was activating the devices so I had to go and try and burn all the enemies so I could actually GET to revive the rest of the team. I managed to revive them but we ran out of time so the mission failed.)

(Vivanus - well, their first mistake was bringing a heavy weapon for a power-heavy class which would slow their recharge time so they wouldn't be able to use their powers as well. If you have a character who uses their powers a lot you NEED to bring a light weapon - anyone with sense knows that.
Their second mistake was trying to shoot their way past four Geth Primes. And that was nearly fatal for them, because the Primes just fired energy pulses at them. Normally it'd be enough to take away your shields and half of your health, and that was just three blasts from one of them. And there were four. So they went down.)

I kinda absorbed them.
(Well it seemed they did. They were using sniper rifles so heavy I disregarded them for ANY character. Yes, on most things the weapon MIGHT be a one shot kill - but it can only fire one shot before you have to reload because it's so powerful and heat builds up and yeah. So that means you can't hit more than one person with them unless they're stood in a line. So when they ran into four Geth Primes they were kind of screwed over by their weapons only being long-range and they were unable to use their powers effectively.
