Ladies and gentlemen...
When I start writing Book 9, I had a title in mind. And it was a good title. It was a glorious title. It echoed a phrase we'd already seen in the books themselves, and it was cool, and haunting, and awesome...
But for some reason, it wasn't a "Final Book" title.
I don't know why. Some titles suit the last book of a series. Some suit the first. This title — my lovely, glorious title — suited the first.
I'm not going to tell you what it was, because I do plan to use it at some stage — and I never let a good idea go to waste.
But suddenly I had a problem. I needed a new title.
I needed a new title that sounded like a final book. I needed a new title that fit alongside Kingdom of the Wicked and Last Stand of Dead Men. I needed something almost... poetic.
And so I came up with this.

I think . . . I think if you expect people to hate you, you kind of push them away, in a way?
Like, my mum used to be a youth worker, and she worked with this boy once, and he was baking something, and these kids he didn't know came up and asked him what he was doing, genuinely interested, and he slammed the door in their faces because he was so used to people making fun of him and things that he automatically thought that was what they would do. And, because he did that, they would think he was rude and therefore wouldn't like him, and so it's kind of self-fulfilling prophecy - if you think people won't like you, you act like they don't and so therefore they DON'T like you.

Before you twist my words, I will state plainly. I do not hate you, nor do I have anything against you personally. While my respect and admiration for you have gone down in the past year or so, they have not been replaced by hatred, more of a wishing-I-could-fix-things sort of feeling.
However: Staying silent, for me, was akin to condoning the way you were behaving toward Adra. You hurt her, and you did it in the place I once considered my sanctuary. I don't know if words can describe how sad, even scared, that made me.

Ok, I think we're all missing on the big picture. Violence will only ever be met with more violence. I think Zafira did wrong to Adra, yes. But swearing (even though they're not bad words, we just associate them with bad things - the intention behind the words is what worries me).
So, Zaf, if Adra comes on again, just ignore her. Blank her. Pretend she doesn't exist. When you'd normally say something to her or about her, just write it on a Word document instead somewhere. That way no one will get mad at you but you're still writing down what you want to say. It's worth a try.
Everyone else: Even though Zaf has done a bad thing, there is no need to target her all the time. Just something I've noticed, maybe not from the people on here atm, is that there's a lot of swearing and stuff going in Zaf's direction. This will just make things worse. Even for example now when she wasn't bullying anyone, she was still being shouted at. Yes she was a little bit sexist but I wasn't offended at that, for one. Just remember about the violence+violence=more violence. And so far that seems to have been true.
I'm not criticising anyone at all, but I'm just trying to advise and get this stuff sorted out. And I just hope I've made no typos in this.
