Apparently I'll be appearing at the Imagine Festival in London this Monday, the 17th. I had a blast last year, where I showed clips from movies, but I'm not entirely sure what I'll do this time. I might read from one of the new short stories. I'd read from the ninth book, but there is nothing from the early sections finished, and anything read from later on would be a spoiler, so...
Oh, and speaking of Book 9, I have just reached the 75,000 word mark. Judging by this, the finished book will be at least 100,000 words, which is Mortal Coil length, and could be longer. LSODM will stay the longest, I reckon, simply because of the massive amount of characters involved. But because most of those characters are now DEAD, Book 9 allows me a smaller, more intimate story — while remaining as heart-rendingly traumatic as anything I've written before.
And speaking of heart-rendingly traumatic, I've actually written the last few chapters. Not to completion, of course, but I've written enough to know what happens, and how it ends, and who lives and who dies, and all I can say is...
I am MEAN.

I've long since given up on fashion- a few years ago everyone wanted to gain weight, now everyone wants to lose it. I think people should just be healthy and look however they want to. Make yourself feel good, and just disregard the rest. This coming from a girl who wears a cloak to school when it rains, and has shorter hair than half the guys in her school.

Nobody say anything, nobody lie to me by complimenting me or trying to understand me. Just shut the fuck up and listen.
It's my fault that blogland has changed. It's my fault that most times we fight. It's my fault that most people just want to roleplay instead of talk anymore.
Simply because I told you all that Chase died. The moment I came on here and did that, a landmine exploded, ripping this whole place apart.
I didn't just put on my big girl pants and grieved off here with family and friends like a responsible adult would do. No, I came on here and ruined the one place where everyone feels safe.
When I tried to kill myself before Christmas, no fucks were given at all from any of my online friends, only Death and Kallie. Derek didn't care, no one else cared, no one worried.
And I understand why, it's because I'm an adult and I should be treated like an adult and not have people who barely know me worry about me.
So I fucked up and ruined everything and I'm sorry.
You all deserve better than having to put up with me.

Em. I listened, and I am not going to lie to you. Chase's death was indeed a big deal here. For me, it's one of the first things I remember about Blogland. But it was big because we all care. Quite honestly I'm not certain what you're refering to about Christmas, and if I said anything about it, I doubt you'd believe me anyway. But what I know is that the fighting started this summer. If it had started after Chase's death, I'd know, because that would have been the whole of my experience in Blogland. We care for you, Em, and those of us who knew him cared for Chase, and neither of you have ruined this place.

Em. No. It's not your fault. We would have found out eventually about Chase, that was just a matter of time. Also, that 'landmine' happened. It exploded but none of use were injured, it made the place quiet for a while but that was all, babe.
People are different, they grieve in different ways. you felt safe here, that's why you told us. Yeah, it may seemed like you screwed up the place to you, but you didn't. The excessive roleplaying happened months after we were told about the news. After June, at least!
Em, so many other people cared when you tried to. We were all scared, frightened and worried. Many people, like myself, make a huge deal about it, trying to get others to express their emotions on the topic. But then there are others who just try to hide what they're feeling online. It just happens.
Being an adult means nothing other than you can by alcohol, you can drive a car and you don't have to go to school. No one deserves to be treated like an adult because really, you're just a bid kid and always will be!
And no, we don't deserve you. Not in the slightest. YOU deserve so much better. I only wish we could offer that to you. But we can't. To you, we're just pixels. I really wish I could help, really, truly help. But I can't. I'm not like that. I just tell people what they want to here, what they need to hear about their hidden (to them) truth.

so, lots of people are saying things like "i'm so ugly" and stuff and it's really sad to see that because my belief is that everyone is perfect. yup. you. reading this right now. you are perfect. i know there might be this little person in your mind saying "she's lying, you're not perfect" but that little person isn't true. you are so so so perfect to me. even if i dislike you a lot, you're still perfect to me. i don't really hate anyone tbh bc it sounds like such a horrible thing, to despise someone so much that everything you feel towards them is pure hatred. i only use the word hate in drastic situations, such as talking about school. (i was trying to be funny there sigh)
but yes. you go look in the mirror. take a damn selfie if you want, it doesn't matter. and look at yourself. look. take a good look. push all those "i'm ugly" and "i hate my body"s to the back of your head and out your ears, because they're lies. that girl or boy in front of you is so so perfect in every single way. and you might think "oh god everyone hates me" but no. i definitely don't. i love everyone, i'm too nice to people :p
and every single person in the whole world, even the people i don't know, are perfect. because there is something about them, may it be their eyes, their talent, their body, their smile, their nose, their hair - something about that person is unique. special. different. they are being themselves.

I don't see anyone as perfect, even my drama directors never say 'practice makes perfect' because ok we aren't perfect. Nobody is. Like in drama you may forget a line or cue or lighting screws up. And in real life, mistakes happen its human. So to me perfection is false.

I think Hunter would enjoy living in the Star Wars universe. :) We were watching Star Wars: Attack of the Clones earlier and I would just thinking about how much he'd adore it.
That city, too - that one with the really tall buildings, and all the air traffic, and then you jump off your flying vehicle and you fall down and down and down, past tons and tons of air traffic, and then you finally get to the ground and there are streets, packed with people, and you couldn't even see them earlier, you were so high up . . . there's just an entire new world above them. Wandering off the point . . . anyway, he would say that they were like the cities in his dimension except cool. XD
