I was indeed a happy writer.
So what else have I been up to lately? Well, I've been writing, amazingly enough. I have taken two weeks off Book Nine to focus on coming up with new stories for Armageddon-Outta-Here (haw!) which'll be out next summer.
As a sample of what the new stories will feature, we're talking the Dead Men in the Wild West, the story of how Valkyrie met Caelan, a Billy-Ray Sanguine solo adventure, and Skulduggery Pleasant and Gordon Edgley at a horror-themed masquerade ball, set 25 years ago.
Time is tight, deadlines are onrushing, but I'm having FUN, so none of it seems quite like work. And hopefully it never will.

I like SP because it isn't your typical series. It's so real. Like hey these people live in our time they act like us and blend in well, yet here we are oblivious. You don't know who truly is good and evil, and I can't predict what will happen and its cool. It isn't like how mages are old fashioned and don't use phones. I like how modern it is and realistic. When people fight it hurts and Derek keeps it as realistic as possible, if Val's punched its gonna hurt. I like that it isn't oh she was punches. Cool what did she feel? I like how he takes what you think is true and can twist it and make it a moment of oh lord...and Derek wins on breaking me. I legit threw LSODM and Death Bringer omg...

I started when I was. 11. I kept trying to read it,but got confused,so on December 2nd,I was sick and stayed home from school,nd read it. And I devoured the rest. I only had a few of them bc of my friend and looked up spoilers and...that's the one series not to be spoiler (I guessed it though)
I like SP because there's no one threat, like there is in other series. And there's such a person balance of humour with angst, love, betrayal, depth.
But I have a horrible feeling the series is going to have a sad ending.
(I GUESSED THE MC PLOT TWIST BECAUSE THERE WAS A HINT AT THE ENDING AND I GUESSED IT AND THROUGH DB I WAS LIKE "WOOT WOOT IM RIGHT...wait...noo..aww)
