Dammitttt . . . I had to stop writing this morning to go to school, and I remember I was annoyed because I knew what to write next and it was in my head but I couldn't write it because I have to go, and now I've reopened the Word document and I've forgotten. :P
@Syk: :/ And - @Adra: YOu can teach yourself it? Somehow? Or try? Maybe?
@Syk: I'm learning German. :)
And French.
Another positive thing about being homeschooled is that you can go more at your own pace, and don't have to spend ages not getting it whilst everyone races ahead or spend ages sitting there bored whilst the teacher has to make sure the other 30 kids get it.
@Syk: . . . There's such thing as a language making sense? O_O
One of my friends has some other friends who like Mass Effect (though not as much as I do). He kind of told me that they all have nicknames based on the different alien races from Mass Effect, given to the ones that suit them the best.
And the weird thing is, the nicknames DO actually suit them. It's really quite funny, and yet I have NO idea how they managed it. ^^
Guys im glad im okay. I woke up and i heard the doctor say you're dome and then i saw my mother and she said i can have iced coffee but the doctors said i need to have only a milkshake today so i got a chocolate one
No, they're not aliens. Just surprisingly like them 0o
And they were like, "The only race we don't have a nickname for is Quarian. But we haven't found someone with a shitty immune system yet. But you can be called Quarian anyway."
I was like, "BUT I HAVE A GOOD IMMUNE SYSTEM. I'VE BEEN ILL FOR EVERY DAY SO FAR SINCE I STARTED COLLEGE BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT IT'S BECAUSE THERE'S LIKE A THOUSAND DISEASES AT THE SAME TIME. BUT I DON'T WANT THAT NICKNAME OK?"
Yeah i know xD i feel weird but otherwise its okay I wish Derek was on so i could talk to him now but ill be okah i got ice i have for each sicd of my face 20min 20min off
Okay, so today, it was PD day (Personal Development day. We get four per day), and we were doing Finance. Fifth period, we had a teacher who teaches IT and business, and she was teaching us about holidays. And she told us this story. She said that eight years ago, there was this rugby trip organised with the school, and her and her husband (who's a PE teacher at the same school) went on it. And it was to Australia. And they were lucky enough to be able to take their six-year-old kid with them, and apparently it was fantastic, and they visited Sydney and the Great Barrier Reef and all that lot. However, apparently the girls were so fussy about everything that when they organised another one, to Canada, three years later, they only took boys. XD Anyway, my teacher and her husband both went again, and they took their kid who was now nine, and their one-year-old son. And when they got there, they got there pretty late, and all the kids were high and all refusing to go to sleep, and none of the teachers could go to sleep until the kids did, and yeah. And then the next morning they had to be up really early to go and look at this tower, because they'd booked it for 10 am and obviously they had to get the train there and stuff, and yeah. And you booked to see this tower like years (only a few) in advance, so once your missed your slot, that was IT. And they were all getting ready all panicked-ly, and their nine-year-old son was running with the pram up and down the hall and it fell over at one point, tipped sideways. XD And they got to the train station and got down all these steps, and then the lead teacher person realised, they were on the wrong platform, they had to go back up the stairs and round and down more stairs. My teacher said that if they'd been alone as a family, they'd've probably found an elevator and done it more calmly, but as it was, everyone was panicking about not being able to get there and they went up the stairs. And she got these two year eleven kids to pick up the pram and carry it up the steps. And they were like halfway up when they heard a noise, and at this point in telling the story my teacher clapped her hands, once, and said it was just like that. And then she almost stepped on something and she thought it was a doll, and she reached to pick it up, but it was her son, her one-year-old son, and he was just staring and not breathing and she thought he was dead. And she said, telling the story, that nothing can prepare you for a moment like that, and that you can hear about it happening but when it happens . . . And she said she'd always thought she'd be clam if something like that happened, but she wasn't, she was screaming and crying and swearing and completely forgetting that she was a teacher and with forty kids. And her husband picked him up and they ran out of the train station, leaving everyone behind - leaving their other kid behind - and she said she'd never believed in fate until then, but now she did, because there was a taxi stopping at just that moment and he could see something was wrong and he opened the door. And he drove them to the hospital, breaking the speed limits and going down all these streets he wasn't meant to go down to get there. And they got there and they took their kid away, and my teacher was screaming that she wanted to be with him, but they wouldn't let her follow. And they waited in this waiting room completely freaking out. And then they got told that he was alive and would live, but they had to do all these tests to find out whether or not he had brain damage.
And then they felt this great relief, and then they started blaming each other, and yeah. Because he hadn't been strapped in - both had thought the other had strapped him in, and yeah. And the doctor came to see them and he told them to sit down, and he basically gave them a lecture on what bad parents they had been, and how a child was a gift, and how they should have been always thinking of him, and he should have been here *taps head*, and they just sat there and took it, because the doctor was right. And my teacher was saying how it had been entirely selfish to go on that trip and bring him, and how her mum had said it wasn't safe but she'd been like whatever, and how she shouldn't have done it. And their son was okay, he wasn't brain damaged in any way or anything, which was good. My teacher said that they'd never been so reckless with their kids ever again. And like three months after they'd been back, the lead teacher came and said how they had this massive hospital bill, I think it was £3000 or soemthing (because it was Canada and they don't have free health care like they do here. Because England, for you foreign people, has something called the NHS, and basically whenever you go to the doctors or the hospital need to have health care or anything, it's completely free. My braces were free, although you have to pay if they don't deem braces that necessary. The nurses and doctors are paid for by tax money. It's partially why cigarettes have so much tax on them - because so many people claim free health care that they need because smoking has given them cancer or whatever, so it's only fair that the cigarettes pay for all the money they use. But anyway), and my teacher was going oh my gosh we'll have to sell the car, and then he was saying no, because remember that holiday insurance we paid for £180 and you moaned at? That covers it. So you should get holiday insurance when you go on holiday. And that was the moral of the story. Well, actually it's a minor moral, but we were doing Finance, sooo.
Nor do I really *sighs* i may go watch Les Miserbales if im up to it i dont feel as bad as i thought i would mom thought i'd be sleepy but im not sleepy im actually awake i just feel like i went to school

Ari will be okay, Zaf. She's strong and brave and scary as hell at times. She'll be okay!
Adra, my family use the same tactics. I have became an expert on what people actually mean and yeah.... I know... You don't have to be quiet either! It's okay!
I dedicate this page to Aretha Tesla. Aretha is a wonderful girl. I love her like a sister. She's so kind and caring. Determined too. She's always there for you whenever something happens she's there. She listens she doesnt care how stupid it sounds if you need to talk she'll talk. Thats why I love her. I can rely on her to be helpful and all. And I love her writing omg. When I read her writing it gives me shivers. When she writes I can feel what her characters feel. When Alastair trapped her i a box I could see and feel the box and blood and hear his mocking voice laughing. When Niccolò tortured Zafira I would write her feelings shaking because of how powerful her writing is. Its amazing, it only can come from an amazing person.

@Adra: Yay!
*hugs*
Hi. :)
#ChaseForBookNine
Hi! *hugs* Sup?
Hello :)
@Adra: *shrugs* Stuff.
Hi, Syk! :)
How are you both? :)
#ChaseForBookNine
I'm fine thanks, my brother is stalking me O.o
Hi Syk!
I have a four day weekendsdddddd and then a PSAT on Wednesday, so...
Technically five.
YEAH MIDTERMS WOO
HI Adra :)
*prances around happily* YAY!
Oh thank God, he's gone.
I don't get half-term :(
One of the disadvantages of being home-schooled *sighs*
Disadvantage?
Ughhgghhhh it isn't fun, there's so much stress
On a brighter note, Arabic class was cancelled :)
Being home-schooled is mostly fun but there are some things you miss out on, like having friends.
@Sykamere: :( I like half term.
And - yay! Arabic class sounds cool though . . .
#ChaseForBookNine
...unfortunately, sometimes we can miss out on friends at school as well...
@Sykamere: Aw. :( Well, at least you have us. :)
#ChaseForBookNine
Arabic class is kinda cool, but it's 2 hours long and starts at 6.
I mean I have never had any friends, but you guys are awesome so I'm ok :)
I want that class
I want to know Arabic
Or Farsi
Or Tamil
Or German
Or Russian
I'm learning German too :)
Arabic is hard but the most fun language I've ever tried to learn, mostly because it makes sense.
I*whispers* I need to know
The Arabic course I'm doing was designed for adults, apparently I'm supposed to start teaching it soon O.O
@Syk: :/
And - @Adra: YOu can teach yourself it? Somehow? Or try? Maybe?
@Syk: I'm learning German. :)
And French.
Another positive thing about being homeschooled is that you can go more at your own pace, and don't have to spend ages not getting it whilst everyone races ahead or spend ages sitting there bored whilst the teacher has to make sure the other 30 kids get it.
@Syk: . . . There's such thing as a language making sense? O_O
#ChaseForBookNine
@Sykamere: What? O_O
#ChaseForBookNine
Nope actually, I'm supposed to do the same stuff my brother does and he's 2 years older than me.
I succeed remarkably though :)
Gtg, dinner.
#ChaseForBookNine
Teach myself Arabic?
I'd die
Bye Star!!
Yeah they want me to start TEACHING Arabic, because the fact that I'm 12 clearly doesn't matter.
Bye Star :)
Uh...? Age shouldn't justify knowledge
Yes but age does justify people skills.
Which is learned through experience
I have taught people before but teaching a whole CLASS?!
Well you wouldn't be doing it alone- they wouldn't just plop you down and say "go", you don't have training.
But no, you should try it- you never know you might fall in love with it
These people are crazy they actually would.
But yeah I guess I'll try, not that I have a choice in the matter...
Homeschooling is different for every family...
#ChaseForBook9
Hi Fabi :)

One of my friends has some other friends who like Mass Effect (though not as much as I do). He kind of told me that they all have nicknames based on the different alien races from Mass Effect, given to the ones that suit them the best.

Chocolate milkshake is cool :)
No, they're not aliens. Just surprisingly like them 0o

They didn't listen, however.

Milkshakes are the best. Like, seriously.

#ChaseForBookNine
A bit...
There is someone missing... Something isn't right anymore... There should be someone else on....
Also, Sir made me realise something.... I fell in love with Alex Chrome, not Connor... They may be the same people but he changed...
So now Dealex, Rolex is off. It's broken. Destroyed.
And I'm going to an adrenaline junkie's playground today....
Rose its Ari have you heard from her at all? I'm worried about her. I really am
...
To be honest there isn't a lot I can say about either of those comments, mostly because I would like to avoid conflict..
Ugh
Anyway
I feel like somethings wrong, it isnt like Ari to not be on....or answer emails. I'm scared
No, I haven't... I'm really busy and the only reason I'm here no is because everyone else is asleep.
And Adra, I get it. I really do.
She did promise she'd never leave... But yeah, something feels wrong...
Rose i'm scared that something happened to Ari! :/
No... I don't think so, but- yeah? Thanks for the... Okay nope Nevermind I need I shut up.
*walks quietly*
Guys, tbh, life happens. Don't flip out.
I just wanna know she's okay
Ugh finally
Ari will be okay, Zaf. She's strong and brave and scary as hell at times. She'll be okay!
Adra, my family use the same tactics. I have became an expert on what people actually mean and yeah.... I know... You don't have to be quiet either! It's okay!
