Okay, so, it's because of Dragona's watching Harry Potter, that I find myself dedicating to the motion picture.
I don't watch a lot of television.
I watch very few films.
When I do watch them, I am disappointed, often.
There are very few for which I can say there was nothing in particular I disliked.
Sometimes I wonder what the huge fuss is about - Other people /adore/ films and television programmes.
Which doesn't really give me a great starting point.
I don't even know why I'm dedicating to this, to be honest.
But there you have it.
If you happen to enjoy TV, this is for you. :P

Actually Harry Potter is over and I'm watching Indiana Jones.
Some films make me wonder what the hell the directors were thinking, or what drug they were on. Like Percy Jackson film. They must have said "hey guys, check this out" about 100000000 times. You could probably take every other sentence out and it wouldn't affect the story.
Also the musical films. My mum and my sister started watching Mamma Mia the other night and I went and hid behind the sofa and put headphones in and listened to Pirates of the Caribbean theme on loop. But what I could gather from that was the fact that everyone decided to sing when no one would, like "Yay I'm up on a roof and could die. Let's sing :D"
So, to sum up, they're either suicidal and happy about it, mentally challenged or just plain weird.
Also the Spider-Man films are terrible. Toby what's-his-face is the most unconvincing superhero ever, especially when he gets taken over by Venom and tries to act all cool but he just ends up looking like an absolute idiot. And the extras in the Spider-Man films don't act normally like they should - just look in the background and you always see one doing something funny.
Maybe I should stop watching films that look over dramatic and/or sparkles.

Okay so maybe that was a tiny bit pessimistic so I'm going to add that sometimes I enjoy motion picture, too.
There are good films out there, and they all have their drawbacks, but there you go.
There are also some TV shows that I enjoy. *coughs*Hannibal*coughs*.
I think if people can make an image, though, they should do it as well as they can - not just say "Oh. Here's a book. It's popular, so people will watch the movie if we make one. And that's good."
I think there should be more too it than that. They should use what they have to their advantage, not just put together whatever comes to mind.

Some films are good. Admittedly most of them at this time are terrible, maybe due to an easy to please age gender being targeted, or maybe Hollywood is just full of stupid directors.

Avatar was an amazing film. A story that made sense, computer generated images that was beyond compare and it had depth. Even down to the language of the Na'vi. It had characters you could connect to, a world that was believable and amazingly thought out, and an ending which tbh, I think everyone was happy with. That has to be one of my favourite films of all time.

I remember seeing Avatar in the theatre when it came out. In 3D, which I've rarely done before because 3D usually gives a pretty unfortunate result anyway.
It blew my mind, because every second of picture was /so/ beautiful. The effort that must have gone into each frame is unbelievable.
There were things that I doubted about it, but on the whole I thought it was clearly a result of effort and people who believed in what they were doing, I guess. :)

Also, I find it extremely amusing on films when a bullet hole appears in the windscreen of the car they're driving right in front of their head.
They seem perfectly fine, but having a bullet hole appear in front of your head means... where did the bullet go? Did it randomly go through your head but leave you unharmed?
