I'm gonna dedicate to Zaf and her friend, because, personally, I can't think of anything worse than losing memory. And, following that, to overcoming, dealing with, and being helped though, suffering, as well as to doing that helping for others, and also dealing with that as a friend.
To all of us, and those we know, who are struggling, on whatever scale, for whatever reason (which probably include everybody, to some extent. But maybe that's the point.). And to friends.
And enemies.
And to those towards whom we are indifferent.

I know Taia and its really annoying especially tour time i have to leave sometimes because i know deep down ill never know the joy of getting up the signing day and going to the signing. I mean for TMS it was easier because i did meet him twice via Skype and for LSODM it will be possible too, probably. Still it sucks knowing people get to meet Derek and then in America we never will. @Zaf: I know. And that always makes me feel bad for not being persistent in trying to go, because people elsewhere don't even have the opportunity. But, I don't know. I don't like asking for things, so asking somebody to get me all the way to some city to find Derek, so I can stare at him and lose the ability to speak and just stare and probably lose the ability to breathe, and then walk into his desk and limp away clutching a book with beatiful signing to the wrong name in my hand because I can't even say mine right. I feel like if I ever met any of the people I look up to I'd just f- fishhook (I'm really getting into using that :P) it up, because that's what happens with every social interaction ever. :P
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like perhaps I'm better off without. It'd be incredibly good, therefore, if we could switch homelands for a little while, wouldn't it?

But I think Derek is very good with his minions in that he keeps this blog and the twitter and everything and is very welcoming, in his own way. That's a good quality in a children's/YA author.

@Zaf: *nods* And sure, he likes to think of himself as egotistical, but I think that ego kind of weighs him down, because he's pretty down to Earth, a lot of the time, when it comes to his fans - in that despite the "hey I'm so arrogant" jokes, he treats everybody like real people, and I respect that.
And Derek, if you're reading this it's 1:30 and it's all typos and autocorrect and not my fault AT ALL. :P
